Pirates of the Caribbean series

I would say trilogy, but apparently POTC 4 is in the works now.
(I'll find some links laters).

As far as I remember from various online articles.. it's gonna mostly focus on Jack Sparrow and Barbossa, and Jack's brother.

Title: Pirates of the Caribbean and the Fountain of Youth.


I think if it's done fairly well, it could be interesting. But I'm not holding my breath. I really think Disney is trying to scalp us of all our monies.



Out of the three current films, the first one is the best, in my opinion.
The second one disappointed me. And the third was okay, at best.

Maybe this fourth one will resurrect the series.
Or maybe Disney is just beating a dead horse.

Ah, brilliant movies! ;D Agreed, the first was the best. The second was fine, and the third was as well, though I re-wrote the ending. I do this. Ten years is way too long, imho.

My favorite part of all three movies was the soundtrack. Klaus Badelt did a simply marvelous job on the He's a Pirate theme.
Hans Zimmer holds a special place, though; he composed the score for the second to films and oversaw the first. He's the one responsible for Davy Jone's amazing theme. ;D


I don't think the fourth will be all that great; the horse hath died, I think. Might as well let a good series stay good, and quick with the attempting of the stealing of the monies...

I think the horse has died aswell. I dont that number 3 was as bad as people think, just little things like how little Calyspo was in it (Calyspo, not Tia Dulma) etc.

And my least fav was number 2. I think they only made this because they knew the story, and needed number 2 to join the story, allthough the ending is amazing .... "Hello Beastie"

My personal favourite scores was the POTC theme itself, but my most fav is Jack Sparrows theme... you know, 1st time you see Jack Sparrow on number 1 on the mast...
