Mynock Station

Over Saleucami, a lone asteroid, trapped by the planet's gravity, has been claimed by the forces of Garuuba the Hutt. The base of his operations on Saleucami, the small base boasts a command center, 3 hangar bays, 1 for visitors, the rest for fighters, several turbolaser batteries, an observation room, dormatories, and others. It is commanded by Captain Dulin, and he does not enjoy the company of uninvited guests, especially now that Mynock Station has become a checkpoint for Garuuba's latest operation.

A few days went by before Denasi got into Saleucami’s orbit.

Denasi was flipping switches as he looked up through the glass window above him. Outside was an Asteroid the Foreman had told him of. Denasi turned around in his chair and got to his feet. The smuggler walked over to the Comnlink and pressed ‘Long Ranged Scan’. It blinked four times, on the screen the words ‘Searching…’ flickered. Denasi waited as he heard the turbolift open. HK had come up to check with his Master.

“Statement: The Scan is complete; there are no harmful materials inside.”
“Good, now I want you to prep the ship for landing,” Denasi said not wasting time.
“Answer: Yes Master.”

The Comnlink stopped flickering and showed a few places to contact. Mynock Station was on the list. He tapped the Mynock Station option. Another set of words started flickering ‘Loading…’

Denasi waited as HK continued to press buttons.

"Sir, an unauthorized vessel has entered our perimeter.", one of the officers said to Captain Dulin. Scratching his chin for a moment, Dulin chose to address the would be intruder. "Put me through at once.", he commanded.

"Unidentified vessel, you are entering a resticted zone. What is your purpose here? Assuming you have one."

[Toff]

Once he got the message he immediately replied:

“I am Fyurin Denasi and I’m Transporting Garuuba’s goods to Nar Shadda. I was told I could refuel here and I’d have to talk with someone. It was also pointed out that it was crucial for me to stop here.”

Captain Dulin had to stop and think for a moment. He remembered soon though. The human was quick to reply soon after,

"Ah, yes. The 'transporter', just as Nisquis said. Alright, you are clear to land in hangar bay C. I shall arrive to greet you in person."

After this, the human walked over to the turbolift and headed down to the hangar concourse.

Fyurin Denasi got the message and prepared to dock. He flew in slowly, and HK-R1 activated the landing gear. The ship slowly eased onto the ground. Fyurin got out of his chair and flipped a switch. The switch activated the ramp to get out. HK-R1 knew the drill; droids always guarded the ship. Although, if missions were intense, HK would accompany his master. Fyurin exited the ship as he went down the ramp. The smuggler took off the helmet concealing his face. During the flight, Fyurin had to make some repairs, and the helmet shielded his yes from sparks and flares. Besides the repairs on the ship, the flight could not have been smoother.

Fyurin waited for the arrival of whoever wished to speak to him. He found it odd that he had to make a stop first, before continuing his journey. Maybe they wanted to make sure he was not stealing whatever was being smuggled. A friend, when Fyurin first started the Criminal career, told the boy ‘Never ask questions’. Fyurin took his advice, but never fully understood why questions should not be asked. Perhaps if the smuggler knew too much, he would be suspicious of the job. Either way, Fyurin would be launching a bigger scheme soon enough.

Captain Dulin arrived at the hangar flanked by 2 guards. The human had been in the security business for years, and was wary of every non-regular. Truth to be told, he had bigger dreams than working for a hutt. But his boss pays well, he told himself. And he certainly knew better than to cross a powerful underworld leader.

The captain approached the smuggler and said, "Welcome to our little station. I am Captain Dulin, and you are Mr. Denasi I take it?"

Fyurin watched a man come toward him, protected by guards. The smuggler didn't have any intensions on starting a fight. Fyurin watched his guards closely, and tried to remain from having his hand laid on a blaster. It was natural to Fyurin, to always be on guard. This habit was probably not the best idea, for someone could get the wrong impression.

"Correct, call me Fyurin. I was informed I could refuel here, even though we had a smooth flight. I also was told I needed to speak with you about something Captain?"

The captain had a surprised look about his face that quickly vanished. "I wasn't informed of that. I was told that my boss's new 'transporter' would be directed to this station before continuing on. He would be free to refuel and take a supply or two for himself before departing. Did the foreman tell you to ask me anything?"

[Toff]

"Forgive me, that was a different job. I often get them mixed up within my thoughts... I was only told to refuel. But I do have a question, has there been any reports of danger on my route?" Fyurin asked, as he looked about that hangar.

"No, there have been no reports of danger... yet anyway. This is the outer rim; we can never be too certain.", the captain said, thinking about something else. "Our last 'transporter' ran afoul of pirates, but we later discovered those paticular bandits held a grudge against him for another matter.", the human said, shaking his head. "Poor sap. Had he even survived, Garuuba would've had his head for losing the cargo."
