Damned Statistic

This is my English Language coursework. Basically, it is a monologue, for those of you who don't know what that is then I can best describe it as a dramatic soliloquy, where a character is simply talking and in this case telling a story.

Now, the idea for us was to try and write this as if the character is their own person, make them unique, think about their speech, their past, the words they use, the flow of their words. Here's mine, after my first short draft (one third of the 1,500 words) I was told I'd have to completely redo it. And I did, it stretched over the 1,500 by about 250 words but my teacher said that it's fine and I don't need to edit it.

So here it is for your eyes, I trust no one will steal my work. After all, I spent at least a little bit of time on this. Thoughts, comments and opinions are more than welcomed. A quick warning, this covers a... touchy area.

So yea, something a bit different from all my fighting, hacking and slashing. I like to experiment. Oh, any suggestions as to a decent title? That's one I just came up with from the top of my head.

Oh and the title is perfect in my opinion. ^^

Alrighty, so last night I was talking to a friend of mine and discovered this was actually the last thing I properly wrote (ie, not forum-based stuff) and that I haven't written anything else since November. So out of interest I read it through and realised how many mistakes there were, and they seemed to deduct from the effect of the piece. So I went through it a couple of times and editted some things, the original post is now the editted version.

And I've comed to like the title as it has a double meaning in relation to the text.
