Birth place: Zeltros
Profession: Pirate/Slicer/Gambler
Bio:
Felze was, as told by his mother, the result a night of drunken partying and no contraception. He never knew who his father was, and his mother wouldn't have been able to tell him who he was either, considering that she didn't remember herself.
Despite never knowing his father, Felze was loved by his mother, and his early childhood was for the most part, fairly normal. He went to school, where he discovered that he had a bit of a talent with computers, and he soon developed a passion for slicing. At seventeen, he became notorious for slicing his way into teacher accounts to filch test answers or simply to post their private documents onto public bulletin boards. This went on for a while but unfortunately he was eventually discovered and expelled from the institution.
He spent nearly a year at home, but not wanting to be a delinquent for the rest of his life and feeling the pull of the stars, he said goodbye to his mother and boarded a ship heading offplanet to make his fortune.
Making his living doing various odd jobs utilizing his skills in computers and mechanics, he wandering around the galaxy, not staying in any one place for too long. It was also during this time that he discovered his seemingly unnatural luck when it came to gambling, and games of sabacc and pazzak were soon used to supplement is income. When he joined up with a pirate crew at the age of twenty-two, he often helped finance repairs to the ship with is gambling winnings, which helped him gain favor among the captain and crew members, despite the fact that he wasn't a very impressive fighter.
He travelled with the pirates for a good five years, and they made a good living looting merchant ships, until one day when they were caught by Republic law enforcement. During the fight, Felze was one of the few who managed to make it to an escape pod, and was thus able to escape capture.
Alone and crewless, he once again became a wanderer.
Felze has a weak connection to the Force, but he is unaware of this fact. Besides, even if it were discovered, he'd be too old to be considered for Jedi training anyway.
He is a bit of a coward, having what he likes to call "a strong sense of self-preservation," and a slightly higher opinion of himself than he actually deserves. That said, he is an easygoing and generally dependable person.

"You lucky bastard," the man sitting across the table muttered as Felze showed his cards.
"Quite the accurate accusation, Aalto," Felze said with a smile. "Now pay up. Another game, perhaps?"
"No thank you," his opponent grumbled as he handed Felze the credits. "You've lightened my purse enough for one night." Several others who had been standing around the table watching nodded in agreement. Like Aalto, most of them had alsolost money to him earlier that night. They had stayed, hoping to watch him lose a game, and while he had lost several of the smaller wagers, he had always made it back with the big ones. There was definitely an air of discontentment and disappointment in the room as he scooped up his latest winnings.
Felze frowned. They were understandably angry, considering how many credit he had won off of each of them, but all the negative emotions were nearly making him feel depressed as well. It was a tough balancing act. Gambling made up a good chunk of his income these days. Not the best or most reliable source of income, but he needed it. Yet at the same time he didn't want to make too many enemies, and one of the best ways to make enemies amongst the fringe elements of the galaxy was to win too much money off of them.
"How about I buy you all a round of drinks?" he said brightly, and felt the mood of those of the room instantly improve. "Good food, good drink, good company. That's all a guy needs," he declared raising his drink in a toast, and glasses clinked as the others voiced their approval. Aalto clapped him on the back, commenting on how he wasn't such a bad guy after all. Men generally appreciated a gracious winner. There was laughter and merriment as Felze ordered a second round while recounting a story of his old pirate crew's most spectacular raid on a Hutt smuggling fleet, and the record haul of spice they had obtained. A true story, though naturally with certain embellishments to make his part in it appear more heroic.
When Felze the bar that night, he was feeling tipsy and had blown half his winnings on buying drinks. But overall, he had still made a decent profit. Best of all, he had had an excellent time, and the others had left in fairly good spirits as well. Good food, good drink, and good company, that was all he really needed in life, and tonight, he had it.
