Jace Beleren, made his way down from the council chambers and to the ground level. Today he was doing something, that he hadn't done in quite awhile, not since his padawan became a knight. He was going to be holding a lesson for the younger generation. Vreem usually did these sort of things, while Jace was either in the chambers or out in the field. Its not that he didn't like it, but for some odd reason he was slightly reluctant.
Maybe if things go nicely today, then I can be more active in teaching the younger generation. he thought to himself.
He guess his reluctance was because of his nature, he had been a Jedi Shadow back when he became a knight. He had spent years alone, and undercover to combat the darkside. Even with his padawan, they were on countless missions, not giving Jace much of a chance to interact at the temple. Today would hopefully change things for the better.
Jace entered the training chambers and waited patiently for his students to arrive.

Tem walked quickly down the halls of the temple toward the training chambers, he didn't want to be late, this was important, he had to make a good impression on the new instructor. He had heard that it was Master Beleren from the council. Tem wondered what he'd be like, he had only seen him a few times, but had never actually met or talked to the master, and he had heard little about him, this worried Tem a little, but he cleared his mind as he opened the door to the training quarters, his goggles scanning the room before seeing the Jedi Master and noticing that no one else was present, he stared for a brief moment before hurrying in.

(Continued from sample RP in bio)
Teima slid under the last blaster bolt, spinning horizontally through the air. She had been training in the Initiate's personal training room for about an hour and a half. The training remote was on level three now, spinning viciously around the room, blasting red bolt after red bolt towards Teima. A small static-like sound burst from the inner workings of the remote, signaling the ascension to level four. Teima stood straight up, planting her feet on the floor. Her lightsaber was held straight up in front of her, and a few seconds after the static sound stopped, the remote blasted a energy bolt towards her, that she slapped away with intense ferocity, and only a split second later, the remote had spun in midair and produced another small barrel. A thin beam spat out, speeding incredibly fast towards Teima's arm. She felt out with the force and her lightsaber sped towards the bolt quickly, smacking it to the right.
Quickly, another bolt was speeding from another barrel, yet this one came from her left. The remote was spinning around the room again, and was forcing her toward the center. It was also succeeding. Teima spun to the left and took a step back, then juked to the right, nearly escaping the blast. Another bolt came from her front, then another from her right. This remote apparently had a mind of it's own, though this was simply it's programming. Teima slapped the first bolt away, and jumped into the air moments before the second reached her torso. The bolt hit the floor beneath her feet, and Teima heard the snap sound the energy made when it hit the absorbent panels on the floor. The fact that it hit the floor gave her the information she was looking for.
Teima felt the next bolt release, and flipped in the air, putting her feet up towards the roof. Spinning with the force, she connected her training saber with the bolt, shooting it towards a wall. As soon as her feet connected with the roof, she bent her right knee and straightened her left leg out. As soon as the next bolt shot, Teima pushed her right knee out and shot her body towards the bolt. She waved her lightsaber in front of her in one fluid motion, and slapped the bolt out of the way. Still speeding through the air, blinding by her blast helmet, Teima brought her left arm out beside her, pointing it diagonally behind, towards her feet. Her left arm, saber in hand, slid up behind her head, pointing the saber behind her as well. As soon as she felt the next bolt start to charge, she snapped her arm out, bringing the saber careening up and around in front of her, then down upon the top of the training remote, stopping it from firing the bolt.
Jammed for only a few seconds, the remote shuddered in midair as Teima's saber bounced off of it. Her left hand now on the remote, jerked to the left, spinning Teima around midair. She held her saber outwards, spinning wildly to the right, and held it directly at shoulder height, making sure she aimed right. She felt the saber collide with the left side of the training remote and felt it's energy fade as it sped through the air, smacking into the walls. Teima smiled as she disignited her lightsaber and slipped it onto the hook at her belt. Her hands moved to take off the blast helmet, and when it was removed she tucked it under her left shoulder. Her body wasn't really too sore, as she had only been hit a couple of times by the bolts, once in on the left thigh, once on the right shoulder, and another grazed her left bicep, just above the elbow.
Done exercising, Teima put the blast helmet on a rack in the closet in the antechamber to the domed room. She pushed the red button with her left forefinger and stepped out of the sliding door as the pie-shaped hole opened up and the training remote slid back in, clicking into place somewhere in storage up above. Teima heard a door close and watched as another Initiate walked out of the door at the far end of the hallway, just before it slid closed. As soon as it was closed, Teima ran quickly but softly towards the door, then stopped right before reaching it. She saw a notice in the entrance a few days back that a class would be held on this morning, but the Master was yet to be revealed. Even though, she wanted to be there, more or less to get some learning in, but most importantly she wanted to find a Master of her own, or really she wanted a Master of her own to find her.
She slid out of the door, and looked around. She had lost track of the other youngling, and sniffed a few times. She smelled the sent of cloth coming from a corridor, and decided to check it. The other Initiate was there, as she had thought, and she sneaked behind him. Teima thought he had heard her at one time, and hid in a doorway, then came out after about five seconds. He was still walking straight ahead and took a turn down another corridor to his left. Quickly, Teima closed the gap between her and that corridor, and looked with one eye around the corner. She was surprised the boy hadn't sensed her yet, and watched him enter the large training area where Master Vreem Took's classes were usually held. She had only been in Master Vreem's class once before, and that was a few years back.
Teima wondered if Vreem was back, as the rumors were that he had been on many missions recently. Regardless, she stepped forward after the boy had entered the room and walked in right behind him, looking around to see a Master she hadn't seen but once around the temple, and she was never introduced to him. Nothing special was about him. He was standing in the center of the large white room, there were pillars positioned around the room in regular fashion, and the other Initiate had taken to exploring the room with his eyes. Teima approached the Master but stopped ten feet from him, stood up straight, stuck her chest out, then bowed deeply before standing a few seconds later. She slid her knees outwards, and her feet inwards, sliding gracefully down to sit Indian style on the floor. Her hands rested in the bowl made by her legs, palms up and open. Her eyes could close, but they began to swirl, showing signs of deep trance. Teima was meditating, producing a few things hidden in her mind. The exercise earlier that morning had brought a few things to surface she needed to work on, and she reflected on those for a few moments, awaiting the time the new Master would ask the Younglings to gather around him for training.

Gusha returned as quickly as he could to the training room in the morning. He had it in his mind to get some early practice in before his classes began that day. When got there he was met by something he had not expected. Assembled in the training room was a class. It was not one of the regular classes and judging by those assembled it wasn’t meant for one age group or another. About twelve other younglings had gathered around a master Gusha had not met before.
Gusha slid himself up to the back of the group to listen and maybe take part. Gusha had not met this master before so it might be interesting to learn his perspective on things. Should be a good morning.

Jace watched as the younglings entered the training room, and a small smile crossed his face.
Ahhh the joys of youth he thought to himself
He took a few steps until he was in the center of the room and finally began to address the initiates.
"Welcome young ones, as some of you may know, Master Took usually holds these classes but I am filling in for him today. I am Master Jace Beleren, a member of the High Council just like Master Took.
I have some sparring and some other things planned for today, but first I would like to start with something else. I want each of you to pick a line from the Jedi Code which has the most meaning to you, or maybe its the one you understand least. Maybe its the one you don't agree with at this point. Being a Jedi is not all about lightsabers and fighting. A Jedi is a Guardian, not a Soldier, there is a big difference. Do not be afraid, many Jedi at first question the Code, I know I did. You cannot learn fully and gain knowledge, without first having a question"
He looked around the room, pausing, giving his words time to sink in.
"So who would like to begin?"

"Master, May I start?" Gusha spoke from the back of the group."One of my favorite lines is There is no ignorance, There is knowledge. To me it means that in the force there is no ignorance. The force knows everything, because it binds all life. For us this means that we should strive to become more knowledgeable and less ignorant in our day to day lives. As we strive to become one with the force."

Teima, even in her state, felt the next initiate enter the room. The very moment Master Beleren's mouth seemed to start moving, Teima's big onyx eyes stopped swirling and returned to a solid black sheen. The question the new Master had asked was highly unanswerable for a youngling, but Teima would try to put her best foot in. She waited a few seconds to see if anyone else would speak, and stopped when she heard someone behind her spoke. Teima bent forward a little and put her left palm open on the floor, then slid her right leg out and put a foot down. She pushed up with her right leg, balancing with her left hand, standing herself upright.
Teima crossed her arms as a few swirls spun around in her eyes. Her tentacles quivered on the back of her head as she tried to read Beleren as much as she could, to gauge his reaction to Gusha's words. Teima cocked her right leg to the side and locked it tight, planting her wrapped foot on the floor. Her arms still crossed, she looked back at Tem, who was silent for the moment, and then turned her attention to the Master. Her adequate knowledge of history and the sort, from countless hours of reading and studying within the temple on free hours, gave Teima, in her eyes, an advantage in this conversation.
She spoke soon after tapping her hands a few times. Her lips quivered then opened, producing a slightly loud yet soft, sweet voice, "The Jedi Code was created by those who meditated for days upon days on the truths of the Force. The Code was written to be understood in time, and not contradicted by the kids who do not understand it. I don't think any of us, except you, of course, Master, could understand any part of the Jedi Code. I don't know about the others, but I have not had enough time in studying the Force to understand what the old Masters really meant." Teima paused for a moment, smiling at Master Beleren. She spoke again after a few seconds, completing her thoughts, "All I, well we, I think, can understand is what the words are. But, I know there is more than mere writings to the Code."
Teima looked back at Tem, then glanced at Gusha and smiled wide, proud of herself. She only had one more thing to say to the two behind her, though she said it sweetly of course, and with a positive attitude. "Read up on your history, boys."

Tem stood there thinking about the question that Master Beleren had posed and how he could answer to the best of his abilities when the last line in the code came to the forefront of his thoughts, and with it a memory that gave the saying that reinforced the saying to him. The young girl on the other side of the room spoke up speaking of how that the code was beyond their comprehension, but Tem didn’t quite agree with that perspective, it just didn’t seem right, but he didn’t want to flatly disagree with her “I don’t agree with that, Master, you have to understand what the code means, not just says, yes, but can’t we reach that comprehension even at our age?” he looked at Master Beleren, shifting a bit toward Master Beleren. “I would like to answer Master Beleren’s question with the last line of the code.” The memory rushed back into Tem’s mind, taking him back to that day, now eight years gone, that stands out from a life long forgotten by boy and it took all his Jedi training to keep emotional torrent from coloring his thoughts, though Jace would certainly feel his thoughts and see the memory as Tem did. It was the phrase that his father muttered with his last breath before he died “There is no death, there is the force" Tem recited out of memory “I think that it meant that no one really dies, just becomes part of the force, so there is no reason to be sad when someone dies, for they are still with us” He said awaiting the Master’s thoughts patiently.

“Sometimes, it’s only through the eyes of a child that we find our answers,” Eris uttered out of nowhere, her pearl like eyes peering out from the darkness of her hood as her heavily robed form stepped into the light of the entrance. The taciturn master had actually been making her way towards the library when she noted the familiar voice of a council member and -- upon seeing Master Beleren with the students -- couldn’t help but allow curiosity to take hold.
With both arms neatly tucked into their opposing sleeves and no explanation offered concerning her statement, the Jedi casually stepped up to her fellow Master, only pausing by the students for but a mo’ to calmly add, “There is no right or wrong in what Master Beleren asks you, merely a different perspective.” For who, was the question of the day however. Wow, I’m on a roll… that should be enough cryptic nonsense to meet the entire week’s quota she pondered wryly to herself, remembering how she used to loathe such gibberish when she was younger. Then again, it wasn’t gibberish to her now.
“Of course, I overstep my welcome… Greetings Master Beleren,” Eris began, giving a respectful bow of her head before asking, “If it’s no trouble, I’d like to observe the training of the students. And no more meddling… Jedi’s honour.” The last line -- a twisted scout oath -- was accompanied by a mischievous twinkle in her eye as she raised her head. Even so, it was evident she was being honest.

Jace listened quietly and thoughtfully to all the answers that were given. He wasn't really expecting anything else, but it was good for the younglings to realize that its not the elders view that is important, but theirs.
"Teima, listen to the line that Gusha mentioned..There is no ignorance. There is knowledge. You shouldn't presume that you don't know something, instead you should strive to understand it. Understanding the Code is not about understanding what old Masters long ago meant. Each line of the Code has a different meaning and impact on every Jedi. Remember if you assume you cannot comprehend, then you never truly will comprehend.
Tem, I believe you have pointed out one of the very important aspects which that last line holds. I have seen too many friends and fellow Jedi die, but they have become one with the force. We should not mourn their passing but instead celebrate it. It will not be easy at first, but the sooner you grasp the concept, the easier it will be for you later. Keep in mind that this does not mean you should kill someone because they will be embraced by the force. I think we all know where that thinking will lead us"
Jace finished that last comment with a lighter tone, and a small smirk on his face. He suddenly felt a presence in the room and turned and bowed.
"Mistress Eris, this is a pleasant surprise. Younglings, listen carefully to the words the Grand Mistress says because later in your life, you will realize just how wise they really are. It would be an honor to have you grace us with your presence, Mistress. As you are well aware, I do not do this too often."
Jace took a step back and parted his cloak and drew his lightsaber in one quick motion, a faint orange glow covered the room.
"Look at this younglings, its what we call a lightsaber but it has a different meaning to every Jedi. To some its tool, to others its extra baggage, and to others its a...weapon."
The orange glow disappeared and Jace placed his Lightsaber back on his hip.
"Now I want you to spar each other, there is no competition here. The idea here is to improve each other, rather than compete with each other. As Jedi if you one of us becomes stronger, then all of us become stronger. As you spar, let your own personal meaning of a lightsaber flow through you. As you spar, let me know what the force is telling you. We know that the force can guide us away from strikes but it can also help us gain inner peace. Now Teima and Tem, I want you both to start. Gusha, you must watch closely and let their feelings flow through you also. By better understanding others, you can better understand yourself. Now Begin, Teima and Tem"
Jace stepped back from the center of the room, so the two could spar.

Teima felt put down ever-so-slightly on the inside. Even though, she slapped the thought away the instant it had produced itself. A tentacle tickled on the back of her head when the very word spar sprang into existence. Teima had no thought of running in and just fighting, but in friendly competition was where she felt most comfortable. A few thoughts raced as she turned her dark eyes toward Tem. She studied him for a moment before sniffing a few times. Another tentacle twitched on the back of her head, then she turned to face the opposite side of the training room.
In one fluid motion, Teima bent her right knee a little and locked it in place, then slid her left leg out only a few inches, pointing her left foot's toes straight forward, while her right foot was pointed diagonally to the right and forward. Both knees bent slightly, Teima reached her left hand down and unclasped the saber hilt from her belt. She held it, blade end forward, at her side. Teima rested her right hand in a similar position at her right side, elbow bent and hand about four inches from her hip on both sides. In her left hand, Teima held tightly onto the saber hilt, and her right hand twitched in anticipation. "As you've noticed, Tem, I'm ready to get this started. Try not to feel too much, you'll only hurt yourself."

Jarael sat bolt upright in the seat he ahd chosen in the library. His studies had got the worse of him again. He was late for his class. He jumped up from the chair and sped toward the stairs. He ran, dodged traffic, and just about flew into the room when he reached it. Bowing his head, he spoke to the masters. "I am sorry. I was studying in the library. Forgive me, Masters." He stepped forward, out of the way of the on coming sparring match.
He stood beside another Youngling. As Jarael watched, he thoguht he may be the oldest one in this room, excluding the two Jedi Masters, of course, one of which was the Grand Mistress. Closigns his eyes and taking a deep breath, Jarael turned to face them. He was prepared to be scolded by them both.

Tem's ears perked as Master Beleren said his name and he stood again and bowed "Yes Master" he said, then bowed to Tiema he looked over at the girl opposite to him, she was obviously happy to get to spar, Tem on the other hand was a bit worried, but this was only a friendly spar, so he began to calm his mind, letting go of all his thoughts and felling the force rush in to replace them.
Tem closed his eyes and turned walking toward the middle of the room, then he turned back toward Tiema, reopening his eyes, peering at her through his protective goggles. He slowly took the saber from his belt, activating it. The blue hue rose from it as he brought it to bear in front of him. He bent his right knee and brought it forward and extended his left leg back and off set. He pointed the saber toward her and closed his eyes again "Good" Tem smiled, opening his eyes and holding the saber high above his head he brings it down powerfully down at Teima.

Gusha opened himself to the force as the two combatants positioned themselves to spar. He felt a was of worry from Tem the Miraluka. He positioned himself with much attention to detail. Temia on the other hand was full of confidence. She wanted the attention of the masters. He hoped that that quest for attnetion did not lead down a wrong path. He loged all these observations away, he knew that as part of the order he needed to know the strengths of those around him.

Teima's face cringed just a little when she saw Tem bow to Master Beleren. She felt horrid that she had forgotten to show her respects. Regardless, a fight was finally about to happen, and fights were rather rare at the temple. Teima's tentacles all wriggled on the back of her head when she felt Tem's emotions disappear. She couldn't stand it when she had to go back to the Force to feel another person. The moment Tem stopped walking, Teima loosened her arms a little and tightened up her leg muscles, anticipating him to attack faster, but he didn't.
She expected a quick jumping attack or something of the sort, but was surprised when Tem simply ignited his lightsaber and stood in stance. Teima was hoping he wouldn't let her make the first move, and she waited a few seconds to see what he would do. One of her tentacles wriggled a little when Tem said "Good," and as soon as his hands moved, Teima was ready to move. The saber came up then crashing down above her, and Teima, with her left hand, instantly flicked the switch on her hilt, igniting the saber. She grasped the bottom with her right hand while bringing it up in front of her, horizontally. Tem's blue saber collided with her green one, sending yellow sparks sliding off into the air. Teima's knees bent a little, along with her elbows, and she brought her heels up, loosening her toes on the floor so she would slide backwards from the impact rather than get hit in the face by her saber. She wasn't quite the strongest between the two, being a girl and all.
Teima locked her feet on the floor again and jumped backwards, pulling the sabers from each other. When she landed, she let her body drop to the floor a bit, putting her right hand palm down on the floor, and letting her toes grip the floor under her. Crouched down, she held her saber straight out to her left side, pointed away from her. --

Tem pushed off his back foot bringing his saber straight out away from his body as he jumped forward with the force to push the advantage, he could tell that she was confident, possibly a better duelist, so he had to keep her on her feet and try to force her out of position.
He let the force flow freely through him, keeping his mind on her movements, his mind a conduit of the force as he jumped toward her, the light shining of the lens of his goggles as his eyes peered into hers. He could feel the others in the room and even see what might happen next as he brought his saber in and thrust the point at her, trying to catch her off guard.

The duelists began with Tem striking for the Nautolan's head. She blocked it with a rather rudimentary block and jumped away. Her confidence seemed to have disappeared with the first strike. Tem didn't give her chance to breath he followed up with another attack trying to catch her off guard. Very surprising Gusha thought to himself, Temia must have been holding something back if Tem who while possibly being stronger was the more reluctant of the two. She was letting him dictate the battle. Then it occurred to Gusha, she was playing to good Jedi not attacking despite the fact she had the perfect chance to. Perhaps she was imitating form III fighters, of just trying to show the masters how in touch with the way of the jedi she was.

Jace watched both of the younglings carefully, he was walking around them, but not in the physical sense. He let his mind be free, he was watching the spar from all angles and none at the same time. He could feel both confidence and also doubt in both of them. Doubt was always a good thing, even if it doesn't seem like that outright.
He continued watching until he felt another presence quickly enter the room and then bow in front of him. He waved his hand dismissively and spoke.
"Not to worry young one, but try to be punctual from now on. Now watch as Gusha is currently, it will be your turn soon"
He then spoke louder, addressing all of the younglings
"Remember young ones, using your lightsaber is not a matter of speed or strength, but of mind. Yes the force will guide you, but the greatest blade masters, were also master strategists. The more steps you are ahead of your opponent, the more likely you are to achieve your goal. You can learn a great deal from the many forms and styles of the lightsaber. Training yourself with the lightsaber will not only improve your skills but improve you as a person."
He figured that he would give them some time to think on it, no wonder Vreem did this so often. Not only do you get the satisfaction of training the younger generation, but you also can learn so much at the time that you may have forgotten.

Teima smiled gleefully, as Tem had "walked right into her trap." Gusha was close in his thoughts, she was practically toying with Tem, but no, she was not practicing form III. She was in a sense, but in her own mind, it was simply an illusion to draw Tem in, then the form she was truly interested in would come to play. Using sheer speed, Teima leaped straight forward from her crouched position, holding her blade in the same fashion through the entire motion. The jump was advanced by the Force, and brought her high into the air, about two meters from the room floor.
Since she went up diagonally, she came down the same way, twisting midair to face Tem's back, and landing approximately three and a half yards from him. As soon as she landed, she was in the same position as before. Legs bent a little, right hand on the ground, and saber pointed out to the left. Her large black eyes were set right on Tem as she awaited his next move. She chose to say nothing, keeping her focus completely on the spar. Though, she slipped her focus only a few seconds to sniff a few times, her nostrils flaring almost inconspicuously.--

Bowing again, Jarael turned back to watch the sparring match. It would be his turn soon! Brushing his Padawan braid aside, he watched ever more closely. The Nautolan had leapt into the air and landed far behind the boy. The boy seemed a little taken aback by her motions. Jarael closed his eyes a moment, allowing the Force to flow through his body. His veins. His lungs. His entire body. He used the Force as his eyes to watch the match proceed. The training sabers batted at one another. Jarael opened his eyes to see the match at a stand-still. The two Younglings had their sabers locked together, golden sparks flying here and there.
