Donald Kail sat in his office drinking his water. He was ready for this meeting he'd been working towards it for a long time. The Mandalorians wouldn't go for it, unless they were desprate or they believed it was the best choice for them. Even if it was the best choice they might not go for it. Donald sent out the becon to the Mandalorains he'd allyed with. He was going to use them as protection and to show he was reliable to work with. He hoped he'd get into contact with their leader but he might be busy. He would take who he could get. The Republic military tried to escort him but he had refused. Even if it sent a message of power they might take it disrepectully. He just waited in his office to hear back from the Mandalorains...

From the bridge of the Verda command ship, Vera Hollis turned slightly to face the communications console as it began to emit a low beep, signaling an incoming transmission. She moved to the console and typed a few commands.
Donald Kail. Raynes had told her to expect a call from the man, and to help him as best she could when he did. Hollis didn't necessarily agree with his choice to aid the Republic, but, honestly, neither did she disagree. She was becoming far too impartial lately. Any more, and she'd start to sound like Raynes. Now that was a terrifying thought.
She let the transmission through with the flick of a key.
"Senator Kail, my name is Vera Hollis. Raynes, who I assume is who you're looking, is my commanding officer. Currently, he's on Concord Dawn. If you need something from us, then I'm afraid you'll have to deal with me in his stead. I am currently entering Mandalore's system, and will be unable to attend to anything outside the system personally, but there is a small detachment of Verda near the Core who can help if necessary. So tell me, Senator, what is it you require of us?"

Donald had hoped to work with Raynes but in his absence he'd make the best of it,
"I need safe transport into the Mandalorian system and speak with your leader. The Republic wants to offer the Mandalorians a deal correct some mistakes before we have to wars on our hands. I would like you or someone high in your group to escort me into Mandalorain space. Your people know of me from my military career and hopefully shall heed my worlds well. I do not want to show any disrespect to your leaders. So I shall come in whatever fashion they ask."
Donald waited patiently for a response from the Mandalorian. If he was to accomplish this risky mission he must come off strong but respectful. If the Mandalorains felt any fear or desperation in his offer they'd never take it. They might even declare total war. Good new was he hadn't felt any fear in Politics in years...butthis was politics with Warlords. He had dealt with them too so he'd be in control of his emotions.

"Transpo? Simple enough. I believe Mandalore himself is somewhat hard to get an audience with at the moment, but his second, General Kahn'taal on Concord Dawn, will more than suit your needs. Hang on, let me see whose nearest Coruscant..." Leaning away from the console, Vera pressed a few keys on a separate terminal, checking the data that streamed into view. Honestly, she couldn't have cared less about the politics anymore. In her time, she'd seen civilizations rise and fall from war, politics, and nature. Honestly, she preferred the war; at least an opposing army was straightforward in trying to kill you.
"Lucky you. Lieutenant Kohul's the closest to you. I'll contact Namara, let her know you need a lift. She should be there within the day. Strong suggestion; bring as few people with you as possible and don't talk to her about the Republic. Actually, it's just better if you keep any conversations with her to a minimum. Good luck, Senator, and goodbye."
Tapping a few more commands into the terminal after terminating th call, she brought up a direct line to the ship Namara, Anda, and Vrrisk were currently occupying.
"Nam'?"
Patiently, she tapped an armored finger against the console.
"NAM'!"
A loud crash, followed by a flurry of groggy curses came back through the terminal.
"...what?"
"Get to Coruscant, soonest. You need to pick up Raynes' Senator friend and take him to Concord Dawn."
"...you're serious, aren't you? Great...yeah, fine, whatever...we'll be there. Lemme get the others, and we'll head out. This sucks..."
Vera smirked as she closed the channel. She couldn't possibly have picked a more socially bigoted being to do this than Namara Kohul. Oh, the irony of it all.

Donald turned off his communicator and turned off his office lights. He locked up and told his secretary to just take messages. He left for the intergalactic transport station. He turned on his beacon and waited inside a cafe. He checked his weapons and looked over the papers for the deal they were going to give the Mandalorians. It was going to be risky and he didn't want to misquote any of the paper work or the deal. This was one of the most important meeting of his life but he felt fine. He just didn't like the waiting he wanted to get on the move.
