Ryn clawed his way out of the smoldering cockpit of his freighter and let a silent curse slip out of his lips. That persistent Dark Jedi just outright refused to die... it was like that bastard had anti-gravity pods stuffed in his cloak. He tried to open the door to the outside, but the twisted durasteel refused to give under his natural might, he let out a long sigh and closed his eyes. He called the Force to his flesh, and it answered. Ryn felt a spiritual tornado swirl around him, the warmth, the positive emotions, the light... it gave him a strange sense of serenity despite his current situation. Sundar focused and refined the vortex into a single, powerful orb, and without another moments delay he unleashed it on the twisted durasteel door.
The heavy door was torn off of its hinges like a child's play toy and hit the ground with a resounding thud that could probably be heard on Coruscant. As Ryn stepped out of the door way all 4 of his senses were bombarded; he heard the song birds chirping, he tasted the saltspray of the ocean, felt the cool morning breeze caress the back of his neck, and smelt the gentle lavender carried by the wind.
This planet was unmarred by civilization, untouched by crime, greed, or self loathing... this planet was perfect. Ryn had always thought about leaving the order and living on a planet like this, by the Force if only he could see it with his natural eyes. He shifted his gaze around, the planet looked so magnificent through the Force, its glory was simply indescribable. But he could see one black spot, one rotten infestation that marred the pure beauty of the place, he saw the ship that had blown him out of the sky, and an even darker form standing in front of it. He recognized the man, Grawn Ianie, the Dark Jedi that he had fought with twice before, the Force had brought them together one last time, and this time only one of the two would live to see the next hour.
Ryn put his thumb on both of the ignition sliders on each end of the lightsaber, slid them to full length, and instantly two indigo lines of plasma erupted the lightsaber. "A pity there are no cliffs here for you to tumble down this time, Grawn. I am Ryn by the way, in case you did not know my name yet." Ryn said the latter part of the comment in a comical, chiding fashion. He did not even allow the Dark Jedi to answer before he hurled himself at Grawn, Juyo called for it... no Juyo demanded it. He began with quick horizontal strikes, he did not allow Grawn a chance for a counter attack, he could not, if Ryn was not the one to set the pace than Grawn would... and Ryn could not have any of that.
Ryn kept a quick rhythm to his strikes, like the beating of a war drum on an ancient ramming boat, it set the pace of the battle. Out of the blue Ryn interrupted that rhythm, he used the Force to throw Grawn through the air, but before the Dark Jedi had a chance to hit the deck he used the Force to slam him into the ground. "Grawn, again I ask, how have I wronged the masses? Your crusade is hypocrisy." Ryn said, something told him that Grawn could not be turned, not by Ryn at least, but he had to try... he just had to....

A mad grin was spread across the Dark Jedi's face, its gleeful visage hidden by a broken mask. This was his time, this was nothing but pure, unmitigated REVENGE. Long ago the light had forsaken this man, but through the darkness that hid within all beings of the universe he rose from the pits of hell and now looked upon his foe with nothing but utter contempt.
He didn't care about reform, the galaxy could rot as it always had to the Dark Jedi now. None of it mattered and the only thing that did was the death of this Jedi dog. Oh, Ryn Sundar, you pitiful wretch; you had no idea what type of pain you were about to endure. Sure, the scum did his blows, coming at him quickly and at the speed of lightning. To most it would've seemed Grawn was overmatched, soon to be struck down by a greater being then he but that was not the case.
Thrown into the air, slammed to the ground. None of it was felt, as the Force had cushioned the impact to mere thuds upon his tormented body. And as Grawn rose from the ground, dust falling from him from the roller coaster he had just went through, he laughed.
Laughed a hollow noise that shattered the silence that had descended upon the scene. It echoed across the area, a vile noise that was one of the rare things that had not marred the uncivilized planet. His lightsabers flew to his hand from across the area; the two blades reaching Grawns waiting grip since they had been lost from Ryn's first attacks.
"My crusade? You poor, brain washed fool. Hypocrisy? You fail to realize that i don't want a peaceful way to straighten the galaxy. That has been tried and failed for over centuries" the Dark Jedi chuckled, his unactivated blades still in hand, "Tried and failed cause the general populace doesn't know what they want or need. They rather elect pompous fools to run entire planets, unaware that they get no closer to the idea of peace! The Jedi allow this corruption, they allow the death of THOUSANDS! You allow rich, impure politicians to ruin the Republic from within, allowing itself to become a festering disease upon the galaxy"
A small smile crept to his face as his blades ignited, the twin red humming as the snap hiss faded, leaving the two Force users to stand alone.
"My words are wasted upon you. You are to far gone and long ago i swore an oath to remove anything that would destabilize the galaxy. This means you, the Jedi...and the REPUBLIC!", these last words came as a roar as he called the dark side to him. It came like a faithful hound, snarling and begging to let loose upon anything and anyone, its jaws snapping and saliva splashing about with blood lust in its eyes. "The echoes of war come and with it, the wave that will tear the Republic asunder"
With a surge of the dark side, he clashed blades with Ryn and with this first strike he let go of everything. His death meant little, all that kept his conscious not be taken by the snarling hound was this Jedi's death. His cybernetic arm worked in unison with his natural, making sweeping strikes that cast sparks as they collided with Ryn's blades. Red against blue, the light show would've been spectacular to any watching if they were unaware of the seriousness of the two's fight.
This wasn't simply a fight between two enemies, it was a fight between to beliefs. No one fought harder then when ones beliefs are put into question and the combatants refused to yield to one another so the only result of this deadly dance...was death. One bred in light, cast into darkness and another fully in the light, attempting to fight back the blackness that threatened to destroy all he knew. As the two found each others sabers locked, the Dark Jedi's two blades keeping Ryn's double blades from gaining any ground, Grawn's masked face stared into Ryns blind eyes.
The snarling hound was kept back only by that double bladed saber, sparks flying as the two combatants strained against each others strengths. Finding no other way, Grawn leaped backwards and with Ryn flying forward from the surprise feint. Finding his opening, the Dark Jedi spun quickly around and his boot caught the Jedi in the side of the head. Before the Jedi hit the ground however, Grawn gathered the dark side to him in an instant and sent a blast toward the off guard Jedi, sending him crashing across the beach and rocks.
"I will not falter", was all the Dark Jedi said as he watched Ryn recover.

Ryn saw it coming, no, he felt it coming. As Grawn's boot connected with Ryn's temple a wave of pain washed over his whole body. However Grawn was not through with his little attack, the Dark Jedi decided to add insult to injury by using the Force to flick him across the beach like he was a paper football. Ryn had to be honest, that round house kick + force push combo really did a number on him, as he slowly got up he felt blood trickle out of his ear. Ryn stayed silent to Grawn's ranting, this man could not be turned, not by this Jedi at least, and the man would just simply love to see Ryn with more blood out then in.
Much like chess, the key to success in any fight is to stay steps ahead of the competition, and the one to be further ahead is almost always the victor. So was the case in this fight. Ryn instantly formulated a plan, one that he would put into motion immediately. He slowly got up, making it look like the kick he had received took most of the fight out of him, he sighed, deactivated his lightsaber and cast it aside. Sundar then proceeded to take off the torso section of his light mandalorian armor, it fell to the ground with a loud "thump" and revealed Ryn's well toned and athletic muscles beneath his well tanned skin. That armor was only a hindrance in Jedi-to-Jedi combat, he needed as much mobility as he could get, and that hunk of steel was hot as mustafar.
"Fine, you win... I concede." He said, sounding completely defeated, he even managed to put a little "pain" in his voice. Ryn did not count on this Dark Jedi buying into his facade, no, this Grawn did not seem to be that dense, he only aimed to throw the man off balance while he focused on something else...
Ryn closed his eyes and summoned the Force around the durasteel door, the one that previously blocked his way out of the new inferno that was his ship. The Force began to collect and hang around the door, it took but a few moments for the Force to be collected enough for it to pick the heavy door up. Ryn opened his eyes just before hurling the giant door at Grawn, whether the Dark Jed was hit, dodged, or shat himself was not of Ryn's concern, as long as the Dark Jedi was kept off balance Sundar could achieve his temporary goals. Ryn held out his hand and instantly his lightsaber met his grasp, ignited, and extended to the length of your average lightsaber.
The Jedi Knight then charged the Dark Jedi, he was within striking distance under a second. He began his flurry with his all too familiar rhythmic horizontal opposing strikes, but then added a a few twists, turns, and sweeps for unpredictability. The goal for now was to keep the Dark Jedi off balance, not only mentally, but physically as well. Ryn twisted around as if he was about to throw another horizontal swipe, but instead feinted and droped to a squat while extending his foot out and using the momentum from the spin to hopefully trip the Dark Jedi.

The chestpiece being removed and hitting the ground brought a rise to the Dark Jedi's eyebrow. It was only logical to remove a hinderance on ones body but when the Jedi claimed defeat, he wanted to laugh. Grawn was no fool, but even before he could reply, he felt something wrong. With his mask, he could see the Force in the works, everything being surronded by a blue aura and watch as the mystical power hummed and churned.
Over by the crash site of Ryn's ship, a heavy door was humming rapidly as if the Force was being used.
The Jedi, he thought with contempt.
The door launched at Grawn with enhanced speed and the Dark Jedi was barely able to bring one of his sabers to split the door in half as it attempted to strike him. The two sections flew behind him and crashed on the beach, but as he watched the metal hit the sand and flip into the air the sound of an activating lightsaber filled the air. Rage filled him, the only emotion he let himself feel anymore. His grips tightened on his lightsabers, there constant hum for a blood a reminder of his love of battle. The snarling hell hound that represented Grawn's inner darkness howled for blood and he dared not let his pet not have its fill.
Quickly turning, he met the Jedi as he came with sweeping strike but to Grawn's surprise added new moves to the duos dance of death. The Dark Jedi stepped back with each hit, deflecting each blow then returning strikes with his own when a chance of given. Sparks flew and both fighters fought with ferocity but Grawn however was at a disadvantage. He was barely balanced, the scales threatening to tip for the worst at any point if he couldnt regain himself. He had to think of something, else this Jedi dog have him so confused that fighting would be the least of his problems.
As Grawn thought of a plan, he continued to fight with the Jedi. This bastard of a sentinent being, he who took his arm and once shattered his sense of self. But that Grawn was dead, the new one rising from the ashes like a fiery bird, eyes blazing and ready to destroy. The Sith was his only concern, furthering there goals his only ambition.
"Even if you beat me here Sundar, my death will mean little. With my death you may gain satisfication but in the end it was a fruitless endeavor. The war will arise as planned and with its birth from the discontent of the galaxy, the Jedi Order shall fall with the Republic and i will watch it happen, dead or alive", the Dark Jedi chuckled as the duo's blades spat as they smashed into one another.
During the fight, he was nearly overpowered. The Jedi had feinted unexpectedly and with a squat, send his foot flying. The boot crashed into Grawn's leg and the Dark Jedi unceremoniously hit the ground, the soft sand crunching as his cloaked body hit it. Without thought; only by reflex he thrusted his hand towards the Jedi and sent a weak push, it wasnt meant to stop him however. Rolling over, he quickly got up and once again sent a surge of Force energy in front of him. His lightsabers had hit the sandy beach with his fall so now all he had was the Force and he watched in satisfaction at the results.
As expected the sand exploded, sending the irritating rock splashing up into Sundars person. If the sand distraction did anything wasnt the Dark Jedi's concern however, it was to gain ground to mount a effective assault. He used a Force enhanced push off the ground and landed a few feet away, quickly gathered the darkness within himself and grasped the two cut door fragments with it. Pouring energy into the dark hands that took hold of the door parts, he lifted them into the air and launched them at the Jedi. Grawn refused to be taken so easily and the Jedi would have to earn his victory the hard way.

"Idiot!" Ryn was about to say, because he did not need physical Line of Sight to see, but as he drew air into his lungs he also drew something else in as well: Sand. He began a coughing fit and a really terrible one at that, one of the door halves glanced off of the Jedi Knight, spinning him around. This time, however, he had more than enough time to react to the second half... but he did something curious: Ryn allowed the hunk of steel to speed towards him. At the very last second he juked to the left and summoned the Force around the speeding object, not enough to stop it, but enough to sling it around and throw it back from where it came. To add his own personal touch Ryn also shoved the door with the Force, making it considerably faster.
Ryn then summoned the Force to his flesh; It twisted, spun, contorted, and thickened around his arm until it became a visible light blue whirlpool raging around his right forearm. He began to focus and reformed it until the raging storm was simply a light blue aura. To anyone not trained in the ways of the Force it would look no more than a beautiful glow, but the ones that were trained would know its purpose. It had one sole purpose: Take one of Ryn's favorite Dark Jedi, Grawn, pick him up and throw him as far as the wind would carry the wretch. Ryn let a loud, guttural yell fly from his throat as he threw his arm and shoulder forward, releasing the pent up energy into one massive directed blast of the Force. As the blast quickly traveled to Grawn it left a massive sandstorm in its wake, it turned just about everything in between the two into a gigantic wall of sand.
Using the Force, Sundar could see past this wall of sand, as could Grawn. Ryn took a deep breath, if it was sustained by the Force the breath could last him days, weeks, or maybe even years, and sprinted through the storm. The cackle of the twin blades of blue plasma turning the sand particles into glass only drove him into a frenzy of sorts as he used the Force to power a massive horizontal leap at the Dark Jedi. He unleashed a battle roar from deep within his gut that could be heard miles away as he quickly closed the distance between him and Grawn.
Just as he reached the Dark Jedi Ryn flipped around and threw a vertical slash and spun a 180 before landing. "You cannot honestly think to tell people what they need... what they want. A government is in place for one sole reason: To protect its citizens, from enemies at home and abroad. Not to rule over them and have a say in every little thing they do as your glorious Sith "Empire" would have it." Ryn reposted to Grawn's earlier comment with conviction.
Ryn dropped into a defensive stance, a rare sight for those that either knew or fought with that particular knight in the past...

A satisfied smile had been on the Dark Jedi's face as Ryn's coughing was erupted by one of the projectiles. It grazed him, spinning him around and when Grawn saw this, the hell hound laughed in his soul. Already, his lightsabers were flying to him from their discarded places and the Dark Jedi watched as the second metal fragment soared at its intended target. The rush of it all, the hound howled for blood that only Ryn could provide and the darkness inside Grawn chuckled with pleasure.
This was short lived; as before the last of the thrown metal fragments reached Ryn, the Jedi juked to the left and through the mask, Grawn saw that he had changed the course of it. Back to him. Normally this would've been a easy thing to dodge then battle would resume but much like Grawn had done to Ryn earlier, the Jedi sent the metal door hunk flying back towards him at a enhanced rate. There was no time to dodge, nothing as all Grawn could do was throw up a quick Force shield to mitigate the damage.
However; as the metal smashed against the shield, the mental barrier shattered and Grawn felt the door slam into his gut. The door had been stopped and its speed had been greatly reduced but that meant little as the Dark Jedi felt blood trickle from his mouth as he coughed and fell to a knee. Grawn lifted a hand to his mask and removed it, his pale skin seeing the light of day after so long and coughed up a small amount of blood. He had little time to rest however, barely able to pull off a minor sealing of the internal wound as the Jedi came into striking distance.
Grawn rose and narrowly dodge the initial swing, then ducking feebly at the spin maneuver. His yellow eyes glowed brightly as he backed away slowly; assessing the situation and trying to find a route to victory but was stopped when the blasphemer Jedi filth started to spout his words. A small smile, a slight hint of pain detectable in it came to him.
"Boldly stated. However, when the government allows its own citizens; the very beings they protect to dismantle it piece by piece while being able to do so with a straight face...is sickening. I of course don't expect you to understand Jedi, your dogma has been brainwashed into you since your joining", the Dark Jedi gripped his sabers tightly in his hands as he continued, "it is rather odd that the Jedi take in apprentice at such a young age. At such an age in fact, that the apprentices haven't even formed their own views which makes them ripe for you bastards to pluck like grapes off of vines. You were taught to protect the weak, to defend while being blind to the actual truth. The people you are trying to protect are AGAINST you"
These words enraged Grawn, attempting to regain his powers and it worked beautifully. The darkness swirled about his being like a snake wrapping around a victim but the Dark Jedi let the dark power take hold of him. His wound healed and he place the mask back upon his face.
"Your damned fools, every single one of you. You don't understand the scope of the plague that holds the Republic in a death grip", Grawn growled and with the snap hiss of his lightsabers he clashed blades with his hated foe. He struck at first in complete chaotic manner, making sure no move was taken solely from one form. He swung one of his blades overhead while making a wide sweep with his other, the red and blue lighting up the area. His blades worked in unison; acting as vipers that struck continuously, finding openings in his foes defense, hissing and spitting as lightsaber struck lightsaber.
As the duo danced once more; the Dark Jedi stabbed forward in a Makashi manner then he retracted his blades and let loose a torrent of Force lightning. The blue energy lanced out towards the Jedi and Grawn stared determinedly at his foe, he wouldn't celebrate victory until he saw his own blade cut through Ryn's neck. Discontinuing the storm, Grawn leapt forward and once again found himself saber locked against his most hated foe. He hated Ryn more then Tuskens and even his own uncle; this single being was responsible for so many disgraces in Grawn's life.
He was the last surviving Ianie...and he refused to die to the hands of this Jedi whelp.

Ryn grunted. This Dark Jedi had a way with words... a charisma that Ryn never had. No matter, for at the end of the day words would prevail. Action would. The next thing that the young knight knew he was back in the fight for his life, the Dark Jedi was constantly changing his styles, and Ryn was begging to run out of options. His Juyo; normally unpredictable, fearsome, and lightning fast was begging to grow sloppy... Grawn was constantly having the Knight guessing.
That is when Ryn saw it, the normally dark and twisted form of Grawn grew even more decrepit and corrupt as Ryn saw the Dark Side swirl around the Dark Jedi. Ryn knew what was coming, but he could not order his limbs to adjust the position of the blade to protect himself fast enough. Within a few moments a surge of blue lightning arched out of the Dark Jedi's fingertips and danced across the space between Grawn and Ryn.
Sundar began to convulse involuntarily, he fell to his knees as the lightning played with his nerves and stopped his mind from telling his limbs what to do. All of his muscles involuntarily clenched and relaxed over and over thousands of times within the space of a few seconds. Ryn could not control his body; the lightning interrupted the electrical impulses from his mind, he could not move, he could not talk, yell, or roar. For those brief seconds he was completely and totally incapacitated.
Just when he thought he could take another second of the storm, it passed, leaving the Jedi smoldering and exhausted. Unfortunately for Ryn, the Dark Jed refused to give him a moment of respite. Before he even had time to let air into his exhausted lungs the Dark Jedi lept at him... the Knight feebly brought the other up just high enough to block the coming onslaught.
Ryn managed to trap Grawn's twin blades in a saber-lock, at least then he could take a moment to take a breather and adapt his plan. Still smoldering, the Jedi Knight allowed the 4 plasma blades to get closer to his body and pushed with all of his might. The Dark Jedi probably would not be pushed back all that far, so Ryn used the Force to bump the Dark Jedi back a few more meters. Then he allowed the light side to swirl around him, it caressed him, soothed his pain, and revitalized his tired and broken flesh.
The Jedi Knight took off, charging at full speed towards Grawn. He twirled his double bladed lightsaber low enough for the blades to contact the sand, turning the thousands of the tiny granules into equally small shards of glass and propelling them at the Dark Jedi's face. Ryn then deactivated one end of his lightsaber while extending his remaining blade to its full length of almost 3 meters, about a meter longer than a standard lightsaber.
He did a somersault and swung a quick but decisive horizontal swipe at Grawn's legs.

The hound roared with bloodlust, begging to rip the Jedi apart. A mad grin had come to Grawn as Ryn struggled against the saber lock the two found each other in. The Jedi's body still smoked from the lightning and the smell; which most beings would find disgusting, was nothing but pure pleasure to the Dark Jedi. Ryn was barely keeping his ground against Grawn's might, the blades slowly coming towards the Jedi's already once scarred face. Perhaps this time, they wouldnt take his vision, but his HEAD.
Through the mask Grawn saw a blue swirl whirl around Ryn's battered form and knew the fun was far from over. In a surge of strength, the saber lock ended and the Dark Jedi was pushed back not far but far enough for Ryn to come charging. Fully recovered, Grawn grinned with mad glee as the thought of battle came to him but stopped when he saw the Jedi's lightsaber cut across the sand and up come, sending those sand particles that had turned into tiny glass shards towards his face.
He was able to dodge most of them, juking to the right but he felt a slight pain as they grazed against his neck, feeling the trickle of blood almost immediately. However, as he did that he saw that the Jedi had deactivated that damned double bladed lightsaber to have only one blade active but it grew to its extended length. This happened so fast that Grawn watched as the Jedi did a somersault, making the Dark Jedi bring his blades in defense of his upper body.
However he realized to late that the Jedi was aimming for his legs and barely jumped back in time, feeling the plasma cut against his shin. Pain erupted up his leg and a growl came from him as he stumbled backwards. He looked down at his pant leg, the smoldering cloth revealing a black cut that went across his leg. It hadnt cut through but it had done its damage.
Grawn rose to his full height, looking directly at Ryn with hatred fully revealed in his single visable eye. His cybernetic hand and organic hand clenched the lightsabers in his hands, the red humming blades ever reminding of his lot in life. The Dark side slowly came to his wounds, numbing the pain but not sealing them nor healing them and as it did this Grawn entered a Shien stance with both his sabers reversed.
"Nothing to comment, great protecter? No words to defend your 'righteous' Order and their ways?", Grawn commented darkly, "it must anger you when a vile beast like myself dares to oppose you and your ways. I sense it, even through that veil of calm tranquilty, i sense it in you."
Those little words were all Grawn was to offer, he could tell the little mid battle offenses against his Order were affecting the Jedi in a subtle way that even he might not sense it but now he grew tired of chatter. Now was time for battle.
He ran full boar, his legs enhanced by the Force as he leapt to close the distance and his blades met Ryns once more. Sparks flew and ozone burned as Grawn came at the Jedi with renewed ferocity. He no longer feared his double bladed blade and their were no places for him to be thrown aside like some unwanted meal. The Jedi had no escape and as the two danced and whirled; lightsabers clashing and red and blue exploding, Grawn knew their was no escape for either of them. The only way out of this battle was death and this was a grim truth of the battle that was being fought.
As he finished a twirl of his blades; he stepped back and lunged at Ryn with his cybernetic held blade, pointed in a Makashi thrust and stabbed toward the Jedi's exposed stomach. He kept the other blade back to stop any attacks by Ryn if the stab was to be dodged but it was a fast strike and only time would tell if it reached its mark.

Ryn cocked an eyebrow when he saw the Dark Jedi move into the very unorthadox dual-wield backhand style, he was even more surprised that Grawn was serious. "Acta Non Verba" Ryn grunted, echoing the famous quote from a less-than-notable general that lived thousands of years ago. The words were translated literally into "Actions not Words."
The Dark Jedi was upon him before Ryn could react, attacking with the sweeping strikes of the unusual variation of Shien. At first Ryn had trouble blocking despite the length of his lightsaber being almost twice that of a standard one. But of course in close quarters combat a longer blade was more of a liability than it was an asset. With a quick flick of his thumb he decreased the length of his lightsaber's blade to normal... no longer was length a liability, but it may have been too little too late. Not a millisecond later Grawn attempted to impale Ryn.
The Knight instinctively juked to the right just in time, the edge of the small sun came within inches of his abdomen. The red beam emitted so much heat that it seared his flesh, much like it had his eyes a few meager weeks before. As Sundar batted away the angry red blade he ignited the second spire of plasma his lightsaber concealed and quickly swiped it to the left. Then he quickly threw a kick at Grawn's wounded shin, adding insult to injury.
Sundar instantly executed a Force-powered back flip and called as much of the Force as he could to an infinitesimal point on each of his palms. Those two microscopic points began to expand into twin rippling spheres that took up his entire hand. These orbs had but one purpose: Knock Grawn down long enough for the Ryn to administer a coup de grâce on his rival. As they reached critical mass he unleashed them one at a time on the Dark Jedi.
The second that Ryn's foot touched the ground his legs coiled up and launched forward, propelling the Jedi towards Grawn with the speed of a Vornskyr. Sundar deactivated one end of his lightsaber and again extended the remaining blade to its full length of 3 meters. He swung a lightning fast horizontal slash, hopefully ending the Dark Jedi, for Ryn grew tired of this man... this... Grawn.

The blade didn't hit its target, however it had come close enough to sear the Jedi's flesh which was better then nothing. The red bar of plasma was swatted aside quicker than Grawn had expected however and found himself open. But rather than finish Grawn with a single stab or thrust or swing of his blade, the Jedi bastard did the unthinkable.
Kicked Grawn in his wounded shin.
Pain renewed erupted up his leg and he couldn't help but let out an agonized grunt. He glared up at the Jedi; rage beyond imagination coming to him, only once had he felt such utter fury for one before and it had ended with death. The hell hound, its bristly fur on end and its drooling maw dripping saliva let out a howl within Grawn's soul that shattered all thoughts of restraint like mirrors, the glass shards flying to the ends of his endless abyss.
Anger welled up inside him as he began to recover but saw that the Jedi had begun something. Through his mask he saw balls of energy begin to form, slowly at first then rapidly. His eyes widened in realization but it was far to late as the spheres reached a certain point and Ryn unleashed them. The energy rippled, the soil teared and shattered as they went for Grawn, the Dark Jedi unable to move fast enough.
They collided and more pain afflicted upon his already tormented body. It seemed to course through him like electricity as he flew backwards but while he soared above the ground, something unlocked within the Dark Jedi. Something long dormant. Inside himself; the hound let loose a roar that shook him to the core, the sound shaking every fiber of his being.
Grawn hit the ground and bounced across the sand, his tattered cloak finally ripping off. As he came to a rolling stop, he felt as if pure lava coursed through his veins but it was not of pain. Pain was the last thing he felt at this moment, the Dark side allowed him to look past it and let loose something much more vital. His ANGER, his HATRED and his FURY all came out like a massive wave of water to wash over and destroy a tranquil island village.
Laying on his back he saw that Ryn intended to end him here and now, his blade humming. Grawn had no lightsabers near him now, he had nearly nothing but his rage but that was all he would need. That was all he ever had when the Light had forsaken him and now a disciple of the greatest lie was about to destroy him. The Dark side wouldn't allow it and neither would he.
As the Jedi lunged, his double bladed lightsaber turning to a single 3 meter blade of burning death, Grawn rose his organic hand and clenched at the Jedi. The Dark side came out of him like a locust swarm and surrounded Ryn in an instant, nearly stopped in mid-air. The Jedi's blade was within inches of the Dark Jedi's mask but it didn't matter as he clenched him still in mid-air.
Growling with anger; Grawn sent the Jedi flying into the burning remains of his ship. The crash echoed across the land but the Dark Jedi knew that wouldn't kill him. Pain hummed through various parts of his body as he rose from the sandy beach. His eyes locked on the remains of Ryn's ship and looked across the area to only see one of his sabers. It would have to do and it came flying to him once more as the Force called it to him.
It was through sheer willpower that Grawn stood now, his body racked with pain but he used the Dark side to numb it. Regardless of that though, it still burned through him. With grim satisfaction, he knew the victor would be decided soon and it was only a matter of time to see if Ryn would give him what he had wanted since his fall into darkness. He placed his cybernetic hand to his mask and took off the relic, tossing it to the sand.
His yellow orbs burned as he continued to stare at where he had thrown Ryn, smiling slightly as he usually did.
If death was to come for him, he would see it through his own eyes.
