Silence....

Nothing but the howl of the wind permeated the desolate landscape of the Korriban wastes. However the silence was short lived as a large sith craft descended from the sky. Behind it, attached by multiple tow cabled, was a formidable pirate warship: The Shock Hammer!...at least what was left of it.

The sith craft detached itself from the Shock Hammer and dropped it rather haphazardly upon a large plateau along with a banged up fighter and a large storage crate before rising back into the endless sky. Once again silence reigned. Then there was a whirring. A loading ramp clanked down from the hull of the pirate ship and imbeded itself lightly into the sands.

Rah stepped down the ramp bracing himself against the rail. He scanned the area and sighed heavily. Come Tssslk, we have a lot of work to do if we are going to get this thing running again.

A reptilian creature flew down from the ramp and alighted on top of the crate which had sunk several feet into the rocky sand.. well at leassst they were kind enough to leave usss sssome sssuplies...

Rah said nothing and limped over to the crate. He gave the heavy electronic latch that the admiral hadn't bothered to unlock for them disdainfully. In a moment, Rah's Vibroblade lashed out and the latch fell away causing the door to fall heavily before his feet. Inside were various tools, spare starship parts and raw materials. It wasn't much, certainly not enough to make full repairs, but it would be enough to get them out of this god-forsaken system.

After landing on the Plateau opposite the wreckage, Hajime hopped out of his ship, his armor was in the crate of supplies, that he brought with him, due to the heat, he decided that what he was wearing would be enough to get him to the man, as is. Hajime made sure to bring his equipment belt and his blaster pistol along for the trip, in case. Hajime then began his trek through the blistering heat, it was a few kilometers to walk, well he jogged as much as he could.


When Hajime made the most painful uphill climb to the top of the plateau, he wished he had his suit or at least his left gauntlet, that had a zip cord launcher on it, but he didn't so he had to climb up that bitch of a mountain plateau. When Hajime arrived he saw the box, that was about his size, if not larger than he was, Hajime then said to the man “Hello, I'm Hajime, you look like you could use some help, I'm here to help you, I followed you in after you're ship entered the atmosphere.”

Rah looked up suddenly at the approaching figure shimmering in the harsh heat. His hand went to the hilt of his vibroblade as Tssslk let out a low growl from his shoulder. The pirate had already begun unpacking the various items in the crate and had erected a makeshift pavilion out of pieces of scrap metal and a large tarp. He wobbled as he stood, his cybernetic leg still calibrating after the installation of a new power cell.

Aye, who are you? One of that blasted Admiral's assassins come to finish the job? Personally, I wouldn't expect any less... Rah glared at the man. He wore no armor but he was obviously a warrior by his appearance. Most likely just removed his armor for relief from the heat. You best watch yourself, I may be stranded in this godforsaken wasteland, but I am no weakling! Rah drew his vibroblade and brandished it at the intruder.

Hajime chuckled “Silly Pirate, if I had wanted to kill you, I coulda done it from the safety of my ship with my Sniper Rifle.” Hajime then quickly pulled out his blaster pistol, and spun it, and re-holstered it, and said “I could also shoot you prior to you getting in attack range.” Hajime then looked around, seeing as there were some parts on a tarp, after a few minutes he began to pick up some pieces, and then said “So do you want my help or not? I don't have all day you know, Bounty Hunters are busy people.”

Hajime then awaited the mans answer, after a few minutes, Hajime began to walk towards his ship, realizing this would be a waste of time, hoping that the man would have some credits, and if he didn't Hajime could always snipe him, and take what he could from the corpse and the ship, no one would suspect a thing from the death either, as long as he made it look like he killed himself or died of a bandit attack, which, from the news reports, were quite rampant in the area.

Rah chuckled gruffly at the bounty hunter's threats. So he wished to help did he? Doubtful...however any form of salvation would be helpful at this point. The man shrugged and began walking back the way he came. A flash of steel and the vibroblade whipped through the air and embedded itself nearly to the hilt in a large boulder not a foot from the man's head. Don't trifle me with such concepts of "attack range", I pride myself on always being prepared for whatever discomforts fate decides to throw at me. Case in point: the 3 foot lizard behind you.

In an instant, Tssslk collided heavily with the man and hissed into his ear. Rah sneered at the man and approached him. I could as easily snuff you out as fast as I could a flickering candle, except that I would indeed appreciate some help in this matter. And if it's money you're concerned about... Rah wrenched his blade from the stone and hurled it into the latch on the Tear Runners dinged up cargo hold. The latch gave and the panel fell open spilling a multitude of valuables Rah hadn't had the chance to unload since his last "shipment".

Hajime, finally decided to help the man, he then said “Okay, I'll take all the leftover 'valuables', so I expect those in my ship after I help you, or I can completely destroy your ship easily, I'd rather not kill someone I'm not getting paid to kill.” Hajime then picked up a Hydrospanner, and began to look around the ship, looking for what was damaged, after a few minutes, he noticed that the engines were completely messed up, and that the shields were obliterated, though those two were the most noticeable, there were also issues with the turbolasers and its repulsorlifts.

Hajime decided to start on the engines, if he couldn't get those up and running again, then all of this would be for naught. Hajime then walked over to the Pirate and said “That crate wouldn't happen to have an extra engine in it would it, if you don't have an engine, you're screwed.” Hajime then awaited the mans reply.

Rah considered the man's question with contempt and scoffed. Hmm, one moment while I check in this 15 meter crate for a 20 meter engine.....nope, outta luck, so sorry. I'll tell ya what, take this fusion cutter and make yourself useful by patching some of the more prominent gaps in the hull with some of this scrap durasteel plating. I'll worry about the engines. The pirate tossed the tool over his shoulder to the bountyu hunter and continued to examine the rescources under the pavilion. It would take time, but he could cobble together something that would work.

Oh, and try not to touch the capacitor conduit, Tssslk prefers his humans raw. Tssslk laughed at this comment: a strange string of hissing that sounded like a boiling kettle overflowing. Rah turned his attention back to the various fuel cells and casings before him and began to tinker.

Hajime caught the Fusion Cutter, and grabbed some of the plates of Durasteel, he then took the fusion cutter, and cut out approximately what he assumed was the length of the replacement piece, what he cut ended up being a wee bit smaller than the piece of Durasteel, though it didn't matter, that made it somewhat easier to place on, he then began to lift the piece up, and attempted to fuse the metal together, but to no avail, he needed someone to hold it in place whilst he fused at least one side.

Hajime than said “Hey, Pirate, I could use your help for a minute, can you hold this kriffing piece or Durasteel for a minute so I can fuse one kriffing side of this plating, the faster this gets finished, the faster we can get under way on our own paths.” Hajime then awaited the mans reply, for the time being Hajime placed the piece of Durasteel down on the ground, angled against the ship.

Rah put down the makeshift fuel regulator he was constructing and shuffled over to the bounty hunter. He grabbed the durasteel plate with one hand, the other resting on the hilt of his blade. He appreciated that help arrived so conveniently but that didn't mean he fully trusted him. The Pirate held up the rectangle of metal to the hole and watched warily as the man began to weld around the edges.

Sorry to sound rude, but I don't believe I caught your name.

“I never told it to ya, its Hajime Hyuga, of the planet Mandalore, whats your name Pirate?” by the time he'd finished asking the question, he was about half way through with the welding, after several more minutes, and a major increase in heat, they had finished the first panel, when Hajime said “there has to be a better way to do this, this'll take forever, don't you have a crew that can help us out here?” Hajime then awaited an answer.

All around him were the sparkles of gold and jewels. The adornments of kings, queens, and senators of all different races... all his.

Frogu was suddenly awakened by the pops and whizzes of his old mouse droid going berserk. Urging him to the cockpit. The modified dynamic-class freighter was shaking violently, and it tossed the little green creature all over the cabin, until he finally got to the cockpit. All he could see was rapidly moving red clouds. He was in some sort of atmosphere.... he took the reigns of his ship and pulled up, buttons and alarms flashing, distracting him. The clouds cleared, and he found himself faced by a wasteland. He put the ship on autopilot and checked the galaxy map. He was on Korriban.

In his two years in this galaxy, Frogu had heard horrible things about this planet from traders and pirates. He heard that it was completely deserted except for a heavy sith presence. Frogu wanted nothing to do with any faction, but he did not want to be alone here. He figured he must have punched in the incorrect coordinates in his navicomputer.

An alarm went off warning him of 3 organic life forms and a large vessel nearby. He looked out of his cockpit and saw them on a cockpit down below. Two humanoids walking around, and repairing a large ship. He couldn't make out what race they were, but he was so afraid of being alone here, and he had many spare parts, if he helped them, maybe he could make some friends. He landed near the vessel, and walked out into the cabin.

Frogu put his massive piles of treasure into a smuggling compartment, and put on his Jawa robes, his hood now was always down... he wasn't afraid of people seeing his identity. He put on his belt, gold and jewel-studded, and six very ornate necklaces. He holstered his blaster pistol and hooked his shoto lightsaber on to his belt behind him, and walked out into the wasteland, followed by bzzt and his two combat droids. He approached the two stranded humanoids with caution and curiosity, he now saw that one was a human, and one was a very strange blue creature . Frogu raised his arms in greeting.

"Hello there! I am Frogu! I see you are stranded! if you need parts you can have them! I only seek perhaps the common cause to get off this rock!"

Frogu told his combat droids to go man the turrets of his ship, to protect the treasure in case he died. Bzzt just circled around him like always... Lousy, nutty old droid.

Ah, a Mandalorian eh? Ya, I've heard of you folks. Terrifying in a fight, but always getting the sort end of the stick when it comes to galactic conflicts and what not eh? As for my name, it's Rah Boralis. Yes, the phantom marauder, the butcher of the hyperspace route, I've heard them all. Amazing how one can drop so far in such a short time, literally and figuratively in fact. Rah let out a low chuckle that dissolved into a sigh. His grip loosened on the vibroblade slightly, but he was still ready to defend himself just in case.

Rah released the panel as Hajime finished welding it. Then gave out a booming laugh at the sight of the entire hull riddled with hundreds of similar holes. Aye, that's been my problem for awhile now. At the moment my crew consists of myself and the bat. Tssslk glared at Rah before resuming to stare intently at something probably a bird or some future meal he was considering. Tell you the truth, this is the very ship that was stolen from Muunilist shipyards a few days back. I came here as part of a deal I had made with the Dark Jedi who helped my pull that stunt. I was foolish to have done so.... To put it simply: this is the first time this ship has landed in its entire career.

It was good to have someone to talk to even if that person wasn't exactly trustworthy. Although, Rah never considered anyone to be trustworthy besides perhaps Tssslk. It'll be many weeks of toil but at least I'll have some company. he whispered to himself quietly.

Your "company" isss about to increassse jussst ssso you know... Rah almost dropped the fusion cutter in suprise as Tssslk seemed to materialize next to him. Shhhip incoming, sssame type asss the Jedi'sss but it'sss not the sssame one. Tssslk motioned with one wing at the deep red sky.

Rah looked where Tssslk had motioned and indeed there was a dynamic-class freighter descending right towards them. Good lord,you'd think they were just giving away the bloody things! Rah dropped his tools and ran towards where the ship was landing.

The craft touched down and the ramp lowered revealing a strange being that the pirate could easily use as a kickball. Even stranger was its attitude, much too cheery given the situation. Rah just shook his head in disbelief. It seems you have arrived at just the right time. I do indeed require some assistance. I am Rah Boralis, and you are?

Strange things were just happening one after another. All in one day Rah had been betrayed, shot at, captured, released, discarded, found by a muscle bound bounty hunter, and now he was conversing with a garden gnome sized creature with an eerily cheery disposition and a ship nearly identical to the one he wished to go up in a brilliant ball of flame. The days were just packed!

Hajime chuckled, he thought it was funny that the man had such a large ship with only two inhabitants, it was then that another ship arrived, that had a strange shine to it, one of treasure. Hajime put his hand on his blaster grip and said “Hello there, Frogu, strange name for a strange creature I am Hajime Hyuga, of Mandalore, I am a Bounty Hunter, I hope you don't have a Bounty on you, or I'd have to kill you, and collect the reward and anything on your ship.” Hajime then extended his free hand for a gracious handshake.

Frogu turned his head to the side as the odd blue thing asked his name after Frogu had already introduced himself. Was this a custom in some parts of the Galaxy? Frogu dared not dwell on it... but introduced himself as if it were the first time.

"Greetings Rah Boralis..I am Frogu, and I'd be happy to assist you in your problem, I only seek companionship in these dark and lonely spaces. Perhaps we could be of use to eacohter."

Frogu quickly his his lightsaber under his robes, and turned to the Man, who he believed had threatened him and his possessions. He treated it with an uncanny politeness while at the same time lying flawlessy to protect his treasure. He had picked up galactic basic so very quickly. He was a fast learner. He didnt shake the bounty hunters hand but just sort of grabbed it and nodded.

"Hello Hajime Hyuga of Mandalore. It would be illogical to find a bounty on me because other than you two, only one other knows who I am. As for anything on my ship... well perhaps you would find a few well programmed droids and excellent hardware... but i have no possessions of value to a material being. Just parts, to help you get your Ship up and running again."

Frogu took out a device that looked like a detonator, and he pressed a button, releasing both spare parts hatches on his ship, releasing absolutely huge piles of parts. It was good to get a load off.

Frogu jumped onto bzzt, his little mouse droid, and rode him to the Shock Hammer to fill his drive for curiosity. He yelled back to the two...

"Take what you wish from the piles."

Frogu pressed another button on his control panel and made sure the hatch on his ship was sealed. No entry. If those two tried anything they would be pumped with holes from the droids on the turrets.

Rah eyed Frogu carefully for a moment then chuckled gruffly. You need not triffle me with such amusing nicknames, what is your TRUE name? Rah bent over in deep laughter which slowly died away as Frogu just looked at him blatantly. Heheheh....heh....seriously? Frogu raised an eyebrow. Right...well whatever the name, your help and supplies will be accepted graciously.

Rah's hand leaped to the hilt of his vibroblade as Frogu drew his weapon in response to the idle threat of the mandalorian. A lightsaber? Not another Jedi. Rah relaxed a bit when he spoke, he did not wish conflict which was refreshing considering all that had happened to the pirate over the day.

Tssslk alighted upon Rah's shoulder. I'm asssssuming thisss one isss not to be eaten? He isss cccertainly sssmall enough.... The Tulvaree bared its teeth.

No, this one will be helpful no matter how badly he attempts to conceal the large sum of valuables in his cargo holds. Rah chuckled at Frogu's facial expression. Pirate, it's my job to know. Rah watched in amusement as Frogu sped off on top of what appeared to be a mouse droid and secured all the hatches tightly. No doubt about it now...

Don't be worrying about the safety of your "belongings." I have more than I need myself at the moment: Treasures I'd be more than happy to trade for your parts and your assistance.

Frogu continued to buzz around on Bzzt examining the enormity of Rah's ship. Rah seemed to think Frogu's name humorous... These cocky bastards were beginning to get on his nerves. Frogu believed that they respected him enough to not to try and get on his ship. If they did.. people were going to get hurt. Frogu wanted some friends in this Galaxy. Perhaps this was his opportunity. He buzzed over to Rah.

"We can talk business later... you just keep the bounty hunter's gun in his holster, and for now we have no problems. Did you find the parts you need?"

[Catatafish]

It had been days... Maybe even weeks, since the last time Loogarkh had seen any sign of civilization. Those rotten bounty hunters had pushed him off their ship in this god forsaken sandbox, with nothing but his rifle and some water. Maybe killing their leader in that bar on Nar Shaddaa was not such a good idea...

Fortunately, after days of walking under the scorching desert sun, he spotted something shining in the distance. Something big. He unhooked his specialized sights from the rifle and looked around the shining object. There were 2 ships on the horizon. Both apparently damaged, yet with his current situation, Loogarkh just could not afford to be picky. At least, if enough parts were salvageable, he could make one of the ships work.

It was a sound plan, although the closer he got to the site, the more it became obvious he would not be the only one trying to scavenge parts from the ships. He could now make out 2 humanoid figures in the distance, a flying bat-like creature, and... something very strange. Some kind of dwarf riding a droid, fiddling around the bigger of the 2 ships.

Even though it would play to his advantage, having a concealed position and all, Loogarkh was just too tired and thirsty to fight the humanoids, so a diplomatic approach would probably be for the best. As he approached the wreckage, he waved his right arm in the air, signaling motions of intended peace, yet distress from his present situation. He moved in closer to the site, and as soon as he was in range for the humanoid figures to hear him, started talking.

"I will assist you in fixing that piece of junk, if you get me off this rock..."

Rah nodded to Frogu and made his way to the pile of parts that had been dumped from the ship. After digging through the pile for several minutes, Rah found many parts that would be invaluable to the repair of his ship. He was holding up a reactor stabilization lens to the sun to examine it better when he noticed yet ANOTHER figure approaching through the wastes. The pirate never moved from that position and kept one eyebrow cocked until the man stood before him.

The man was lightly geared having only a rifle and a small canteen of water on him. He addressed Rah, and like every other before, offered to help with his ship. Rah only stared back at him with one eyebrow raised for several minutes before dropping the lens and walking away muttering something about hallucinations and government conspiracies. Somebody deal with this, and try to reorient that lens while you're there. I'm going to lie down for a bit...

The bubble turret mounted on the House turned as far as it cold to the left and had a direct fix on the new traveler approaching in the distance. A whole lot of buzzes and beeps from the combat droid manning the turret came in on Frogu's comm. Frogu told it to hold fire. He rode bzzt, his boisterous little mouse droid, over to the newcomer with his blaster drawn, but not pointed in any particular direction so as not to show any hostility. Frogu wanted to use his lightsaber, but from his short time in this galaxy he gathered that it was a rare weapon amongst most groups of people and therefore he almost never used it in combat, but instead to hack through locks and doors. He only maybe used it to assassinate unsuspecting guards, or people of that nature whose deaths were vital to his success and survival. He hopped off bzzt, and the little droid zipped back to the ships, now a little campsite. Rah, clearly frustrated, had gone to lie down. Frogu would handle the diplomacy.

Frogu raised his arms in greeting and said.

"Welcome! I am Frogu. You've trodden upon the spot of stranded, but heavily armed pirates. We will assist you if you assist us. What is your name?"

The area started to become a little crowded for his tastes. Hajime was never a big fan of crowds except for when he needed to disappear to escape, without a word Hajime went back to his ship and left, he was not needed down there, so he took his chance and left the area.

[entering as Avoim]

A blue dot appeared in orbit about a few hundred thousand meters from the planet, he'd felt a presence in despair, he decided he was needed to help the being out. Avoim began to fly towards the general area, when he was then trailed by two other fighter ships, Avoim thought of turning on his weapons, but decided against it since they might just be there as part of their jobs. So Avoim let them follow him, around forty-thousand feet from the ground the two ships had left Avoim's six and returned to orbit.

After a few more minutes, Avoim's ship had landed only a few kilometers from what was from the looks of it a small convoy of ships with one now departing. Avoim popped the canopy open, grabbed his Lightsabers and left the ship, when he got there he sensed many different feelings. Some of the feelings he felt were anger, nervousness, tiredness and many other forms of those. Avoim then introduced himself.

He said “Hello, I am Avoim Oeymo, and it looks like you fellows could use some help, for a fee I could be persuaded to help you out, I am very good at doing small tasks such as this.” Avoim had a small grin on his face, and his two Lightsabers were clipped to his belt as if it were no big deal, as if he didn't care if the knew he was a Jedi, which was true, he didn't give a Womprats ass about it.
