Here's my question: If you were a final boss in a video game, how would you be beaten?
I don't care if you describe yourself or one of your characters. You can be serious (after you knock off the rear plate armor, you have to shoot the exposed organ three times) or comical (whack my elbow 11 times then play the violin til my head blows up....3 times.)
I would be that mysterious robed figure that rescues your character from certain doom at the beginning and teaches you the controls. At the end of the controls you have to face me 1 on 1 using the skills I just taught to you. You will always lose as I am nearly invulnerable and my attacks do way to much damage, but it's ok, you're supposed to lose. I will pat you encouragingly on the back and help you to your feet in the following cut scene. Note that if you use cheat codes for invulnerability, infinite damage, etc., and defeat me, you will only cause an internal error and your system will have to be reset.
Throughout the story line I will appear many times with quest hints and even teach you new techniques from time to time. Then, when you least expect it, it turns out I'M EVIL! So naturally, you get to the final boss room where the soul of your beloved sister is being held only to find that it was me all along! MWAHAHA!
Anyways, to defeat me you must dodge my various energy blasts and swings from my glowing sword that looks way to big to be hefted around like it's being. Eventually, I will stop moving and become enveloped in a great aura of light while I draw upon the captured souls around me to recharge my mana. You must attack the aura with all you got until it breaks, many of the souls will escape through the roof. You will then be able to engage me in fair 1-on-1 swordplay (like in the begining, and not much easier) in which you have to dodge my swings and strike the glowing orb on the back of my armor several times when you dodge my power smash (which will take out 1/2 your hp if you don't) which leaves my back open.
After that my magic shell will reform and you will have to repeat the above again....3 times.
