Now the title can be misleading. First, it's to draw your attention and second, it sums up the whole discussion.
Youth subcultures.
Essentially I want a proper, civilised discussionfull of valid arguments and structured opinions.

A good post may be something like this: "I follow the metal movement because I like the fasion and find the music is an outlet for my energy, but I dislike Mods because they seem too vain.

A bad post will be this: I like metal because it's the best and mod's are worse because they r gay!'

Neeless to say, none of that.

I'll start off the discussion with a simple question.

What 'movement' do you belong to, why do you like it and how do you beleive the populace has reacted to it?

* Anonymous exploits all weaknesses and flaws.

* Anonymous only has weak and flawed members.

* Anonymous doesn't have a family or friends.

* Anonymous is your family and friends.

* Anonymous is not your friend.

* Anonymous is not your personal army.

* Anonymous is in control at all times.

* Anonymous does not accept failure, Anonymous delivers.

* Anonymous has no identity.

* Anonymous cannot be betrayed.

* Anonymous does it for the lulz.

* Anonymous is humanity.

* Anonymous are created as equals.

* Anonymous is a choice.

* Anonymous is an unstoppable force.

* Anonymous has over 9,000 thingyes and they are all raping children.

* If Anonymous must have a name, his name is David.

* Anonymous obeys the Code.

* Anonymous is not Hitler.

* Anonymous is Legion.

* Anonymous does not forgive.

* Anonymous does not forget.

* Expect us.

Now, one would ask why one would align ones self with such a group? There is a simple answer. Intelligence. Its a simple truth, that the less intelligent the user of a system, the more safeguards and controls ( structure ) must be in place to distance the user from the system that is being controlled, for the users ( and, in most cases, they systems) safety. In this case, the user being a generic carbon based, humanoid life form. The system, being society. The structure being governments, businesses, even other people. Annon is the Darkside of Humanity.Annon is Hate. Annon hates indiscriminately, weather your black, white, muslim, jew, christian, the mere fact that you derive your identity from outside sources is enough to inspire hate in annon.

A true annon thrives on anarchy, and would be able to easily survive in its midst. Its the fact that annon refuses to accept any rules, save for those which serve to reinforce annon's lack of structure. It is in annon's lack of structure that annon becomes powerful. Annon is the opposite of what everybody has logically been told to believe about a group of people with "sway". It is believed that power is derived from structure, cohesion. But, when you have a group as ( largely most annons are) intelligent as annon, without the rules of society to limit them, that they truly become powerful. Annon isn't a movement, or a fad, its a way of life, a belief that doing what you think is right, regardless of what others think. The strange thing is, that when given carte blanche, most people believe the same things. Just cruise on over to 4chan and look at any of the invasion threads.

Annon is THE antitheses to any fad, culture, religion, race, or creed. They hate patriotism and the dangers associated therein. Annon is unique for one simple reason: They are the only major group of people who realize the issue with humanity is humanity its self. Now, one must realize that the definition of " Human " is a bit of a grey area. Yes, it can be derived from simply somebody with 23 base pairs, 2 arms and 2 legs, and one head. But, the definition of humanity is much more far reaching than that. Culture,Religion, and most dangerously, Patriotism,have all been created by man. It is mans blind adherence to these that cause our race to be weak and sick. True annons do not look to religions leaders for spiritual guidance, but find it themselves. They do not look to celebrities for what to wear, but wear what is most useful. Anon is always thinking, always looking deeper.

Annon realizes that our flawed system is un-fixable. We cannot continue to operate with such dangerous structures in place, and annon will eventually prevail in their removal. They aren't the right answer, but they are the only ones doing anything different. Annon has no true leader, no hierarchy, no government, no control. Annon is unstoppable, as any system that has a higher level of control will never be as efficient or as "liquid" as an equally sized, more autonomous one. Annon is everybody, from those people seeding to you on Bittorent, to the guy bagging your groceries, to your doctor. People from all walks of life are realizing that the problem with the world is caused by our pathetic attempts to control one and other.

Don't believe yet? Look around. Why does most fighting happen? Money, Religion, Patriotism, Power. Annon shuns such things, realizing they only lead to strife. Also, they have cookies.

As for the reaction of the sheeple? Fear. Annon strikes terror into the hearts of most "normal" people. Youtube " Fox News 4chan".

Youknow, half of that makes me feel as though it was directed in spite of me and half of me whole-heartedly agrees with theirs veiws.

I feel trapped here, because if that was directed at me then agreeing with you will seem hypocrytical of me.
I might dress slightly emo but I don't feel any sort of patriotism towards them anymore then I feel patriotism towards other dyslexics or people with low blood pressure.
'Humanity' functions the same, put any 100 people in a room and they will form divided groups.

Personally, as a misanthrope, whatever you are, i hate you.
