Brinisk after having had a nice short night watching a bit of entertainment and some drinking had gone to his room. Showering and getting into bed he was like most people might be just heading off to bed though in his sleep nightmares still played of the day his father was murdered. He only knew of the gambling debt owed but he wasn't quite sure if it was also because of his heritage, his mandolorian heritage. So restless did he sleep tossing and turning until the next day.
Upon waking to a mild tempered bed room Brinisk would just lay in bed for a while before finally rolling to one side, setting his feet on the ground, and stretching. Standing slowly he would look about with an alertness of a pilot before taking his short walk to his small bag of clothes. Some of it was odd, even to him, but he still brought them just incase somethings came up. So dressing into just a everyday smugglers looks of a light mesh armor chest, a brown under shirt, a pair of brown slacks, his blaster holster and belt tight around his waist, and his cross sash for is money, blaster charge packs, and maybe a vibro knife he would finally take his leave.
He knew little to nothing about Coruscant which didn't bother him the least for as he set out he had already made his mind to maybe try the nearest Military Garrison for some sort of work. Sure he didn't know where to start but just before he left the Hotel he had gone to the desk clerk and asked. With a fake smile to the man Brinisk would leave a small tip for his help before departing from the Hotel in a most quickly manner since he didn't want to get into any conversations.
Hustling his way around the crowded sidewalks, the dark alleys, and through the jammed shuttle port, Brinisk would find this place already slightly annoying because of how over crowded it was. He was used to smaller cities not planets that were covered completely as one large city. In the shuttle lane now for the area fo the nearest Garrison, Brinisk would pay nearl 35 credits for a single ticket which he found to be outrageous but he guessed with so many people buying they were making a profit that he would like to be making. The thought made him laugh before he stepped onto the cramped shuttle and watched the doors slide shut.
About an hour and a half later, and one of the last patrons on the shuttle, Brinisk would depart from the open doors onto the solid ground of a platform. Not many people were about now, it seemed almsot like a deserted part of time, but he knew better and so keeping his mind sharp and mind peeled he lurched forward in a slow pace. He watched form side to side at the newer buildings that were still being worked on and payed close attention to the very structure of how they were constructed.
Turning down onto one of the bigger streets Brinisk would see the tall walls of the Garrison about a mile down the way. It looked gloomy to him, almost a place of insanity, but he knew he had to try to get a job inside them walls that he might make a small profit for. Letting his feet once more stroll one after the other towards the Garrison Brinisk would find no hesitation in trying some other place for work first since he was already there.
"Father never liked the Military but then he never liked many people either. I have to give the Military some try for something other than beating on my ship at some point." Brinisk was talking to himsef as he drew closer and closer to the tall white walls of the Garrison. His eyes shifted to the tall watch towers sitting like giant towers of old and when his eyes slid down onto the open gate of the Garrison he stopped for a moment. It almost looked as though it were a trap like he had once heard in a fairy tale form his father where the opposing army had run in to the open city only to find it empty. Now he knew how it ended with the General thinking it was a trap and running away to find a trap else where that was unexpected.
Taking a deep breath and a slow exhale of the air Brinisk would set aside that tale for another time before once more flowing into a forward motion towards the Garrison. With each step he felt a little anxious to know what was awaiting him if anything at all and as he came right to the open gates he could now peer inside. Men were drilling, Officers were instructing, gear was being checked, etc, and this seemed still different to Brinisk he would slowly continue forth into the Garrison looking for the main offices.
Now once or twice he was asked why he wasn't in uniform and he had to explain himself before being pointed in the direction of the administration building for this Garrison. With each time he had a bit of a bite to him snapping at the officers and being threatened with jail but each time he got away and with the time he learned not to fight with the officers. So continuing on he would finally enter into the big building for administratins.
He had gone in and of course asked to see someone bout a job perhaps that they might have. He was told to just sit down and wait for one of the Officers to see him and so he would do as he is told and sit down in the lobby of the building for what would seem like ages to im as he waited. Now he didn't know who he would be speaking to or if he would be sent somewhere else but that was for him to find out.
