Born in Corvala in Shili, Kial Jul was raised amongst a noble family. At the age of 5, her powers were discovered by a lesser known Jedi, K'jarr Mal. Mal sensed the Force in the young child and had her tested. She was then realized of extreme ability, and was taken to the temple on Coruscant. He had great expectations from her.
There, she began her training as a youngling. However, her abilities ceased to rise above her fellow youngling, unlike the prediction of Mal. Mal made the conclusion she was under bad teaching (however, he never went public with his claim, knowing the consequences could be devestating), and sought out to make Jul his padawan.
At the age of 12, Jul was taken in under Mal. The two got along well, and Jul always listened and followed the instructions of her master. Jul accompanied Mal over the next few years, on many minor missions.
At the age of 16, Mal began to earn respect within the Jedi Council, and was selected to hunt down a troublesome terrorist on Tantooine. He was accompanied by Jedi Council member, Pa Kai and Kial Jul.
Their ship landed safely on Tantooine, and as soon as they exited the ship both Mal and Kai felt a great disturbance in the force. Jul, was still too young and clouded to realize the threat. Mal and Kai told Jul to stay with the ship, and the exited towards thee disturbance. Of course Jul was upset to stay behind, but knew it was a critical part of the mission, and had to be done by someone.
1 hour passed, and no sign of anyone. However, even a young padawan like Jul could sense great disturbance. Now a new thought entered Jul's mind: Mal and Kai may need some extra help. Who knew how many men the terrorist had hired, or what weapons and tricks he held. So she made the decision to leave her post, hoping it was the right choice.
It wasn't hard for Jul to sense her master's presence. He was about 100 meters away in a sand house. Her entrance had to be stealthy and sly, so she located the various ways to get in. There were 2 windows and 2 doors leading into the house. Jul made the decision that these were not valid ways.
She jumped onto the roof and cut a hole through the top, afterward immediately jumping in. Clearly, a heated battle has taken place. 5 of 8 men layed on the floor to her left, and Master Kai lay on the ground to her right. He was dead, shot with a blaster rifle.
Jul had interrupted a negotiation between Mal and the other 3 men. However, they didn't seem that happy and were ready to fight at any minute.
It didn't take to long for one man to fire a shot. Mal deflected it to the floor, afterward force pushing him into the wall, knocking him unconscious.
Jul drew out her blue lightsaber, and charged at the remaining men, cutting an arm off one, and a leg off the other. This was enough to keep them form attacking, while they are still alive.
The surviving men were escorted by Mal to the ship, while Jul cared for the body of Master Kai.
When they returned, they attended Kai's funeral, however soon after, Mal took his place on the council for his actions on Tantooine. Mal still found time to teach Jul though.
1 year later, Jul's teachings were reaching an end when she and Master Mal were dispatched to Naboo to protect the queen from some expected assassins.
All went well he first few weeks, but one night Master Mal seemed extremely worried. He told Jul, "Remember what I've taught you and you shall exceed to mastership." Then he told her to protect the queen at all costs. He then exited to a balcony, only his neck was in Jul's sight.
At midnight, Jul heard a zipping sound. She looked to the balcony, where she could no longer see Master Mal. She ran to the balcony, no one in sight. She looked down and there was her Master, on the ground, dead. He was hit by a poison bullet. She ran inside to avoid the same fate.
She then awoke the queen and her gaurds, and escorted her to a security center. Now the only thing she could do was eliminate the threat.
She searched the palace, then the courtyard, no one. All of a sudden a familiar zipping noise rang her ear drums, and she drew out her lightsaber. Luckily, she was able to deflect whatever was shot at her.
Then, the glimpse of some feet caused her to jump into the air. Next thing she knew, she was hanging onto the jetpack of an assassin. Quickly, she pierced her lightsaber through the jetpack, and into the back of the enemy. They both came tumbling down, the assassin dead, and Jul unharmed except for a few scrapes and bruises.
She instructed the queen that it would be safe for now
. However, before she could fight off another assassin she was called back to the temple, and her task was replaced by another.
Because she continued to fight even after the death of her master, and jumped onto the enemy, even though it could have ended in the death of her own, Jul was granted with knight ship to the Jedi Order.
Peaceful years passed, when Jul decided to claim a padawan. Sharaya Tun, a green, female twi'lek appealed to Jul. She seemed bright and patient, the ideal padawan.
Jul had a similar relationship with Tun, like she and her master had had before.
Some what at spur of the moment, Jul was asked to defend a Republic base on a secret location in Coruscant. Apparently, a dark jedi was believed to have an attack plan on the base.
Jul and Tun went to check out the sight, and of course were greeted by the dark jedi.
Tun was instructed to stay back, and Jul engaged the enemy in one on one combat.
SLASH! CHING! CANG! The two were evenly matched. However the dark jedi was patient, and saw a mistake in Jul's form. He was able to destroy Jul's saber, forcing her to the ground. As he went down to finish her off, Tun threw her lightsaber to Jul. Jul was able to dis-arm (literally take of his arm) the dark jedi, and kill him.
Now Jul had created a name for herself. She and her padawan were entrusted with protecting the temple in an emergency state, leading a squadron to kill a terrorist, and occasionally fighting a dark jedi.
Jul's padawan graduate when Jul was 40.
A few years later Jul was asked to join a squadron of jedi to hunt down a bounty hunter that had aroused trouble. Apparently, he had tried to bomb some sort of base.
Jul was partnered with three othe Jedi, each a lesser known Master. They were known as: Master Jia, Master Suley, and Master Simal. Jul was the oldest, and had been in the order the longest out of all the Jedi. They were transported on a small, but fast ship to their destination, Dantooine. They were met by a local Jedi, who was too old to join them, but knew the land by heart. He directed the squad to a mysterious cave. There force powers were blinded in the cave, any consular stood no chance fighting. However, the jedi never thought of that so Master Consular Simal remained in the cave. Due to their blindness, no one was able to sense the presence of the bounty hunter, making it easy for him to shoot Master Jia in the heart, instantly killing him. Jul was quick to go to his aid, but realized she could end up like him if she let her guard down. The three living jedi remained enclosed in a circle, lightsabers protecting them. Master Suley was first to spot the hunter, after which he instantly charged at him and was met by a burst of flame thrower. The bounty hunter exited his hiding space, and released three impact grenades at the two jedi. They were defenseless without the force. Master Simal jumped on the grenades, ending his life but saving Jul’s. Having fought bounty hunters before, Jul knew to target the jetpack and flame thrower first. She easily disabled them, trapping the enemy. She attempted to finish him off, but was forced to retreat being met by bullets. She deflected them back, one hitting the hunter’s gun and disarming him. Following the jedi ways, and realizing the hunter was no longer a threat, Jul let him live. She allowed the local, old jedi to decide his fate, and he ended up in jail. When she returned to the temple, Jul spent a solid ten years in solitude, practicing her lightsaber skills. It seemed she realized that if she had had better skills with a saber, she may not have lost all of her allies on her mission. After spending time practicing with her saber, Jul left the temple and spent another year in solitude on Felucia, enhancing her power with the force. She seemed to have a deep connection with Felucia. Although the conditions were horrible and hard to withstand, her powers seemed stronger there. She then returned to the temple at the age of 67, where she would face her most recent mission. The Jedi High Council had heard rumors of a group of dark jedi that were planning to invade the temple. Jul was one of the main generals selected to lead the temples defenses. Although there was no actual threat, Jul remained alert and ready to defend the temple at all costs. Today, at the ripe age of 70, Jul remains a highly respected Master. Even at her old age, she fights just as good as any young jedi. Her skills continue to strive, and help the order. Time after time her skills have been proven, and she still has many missions left to complete.

Kial Jul's meditation was interrupted by a knock at her door. "We need to see you in the council room," boomed someone. Jul rose, and exited headed for the council area.
"You have been entrusted with a serious mission," explained the headmaster, "you will lead an elite squadron to attack a troublesome base."
"My duty is to the Order. I will do what I must," responded Jul.
"It will be well protected. Contact us when you have succeeded."
Jul exits the council chamber headed for her ship, The Mystic. Her missioin was important, she had to succeed.
The Mystic landed safely on Felucia. The base which Jul would invade was a mile north, however she and her squadron would take a detour to approach it stealthily.
They began their journey. In her squad were 30 republic soldiers. Leading them was General Lak Argan, a respected soldier. Jul had worked with him before, and trusted hime greatly. If anyone would betray her, it wouldn't be him.
About 15 minutes after they began their march, they were interrupted by a wild Acklay. It frightened the squadron. As if the conditions were bad enough already, they were not ready to face his beast.
Jul and General Argan were the only ones that remained calm. "Men! Set up your rockets, we'll blow it up!"shouted Argan.
"No. We must save our ammo for the missinon ahead. I will take it down." responded Jul, calmly. With that she back flipped and jumped onto the Acklays back. However, she struggled to keep her balance and was forced to jump down.
"There must be another way to take it down. General, get your men to distract the beast."
"You heard her, men! Pick up whatever you can find and haul it at the beast! Distract it!"
The men followed orders and did just that.
Meanwhile, Jul ran through the Acklay's leg, with both lightsabers drawn. She easily sliced its flesh, causing it to let out a horrific screech. With it injured, she was able to jump on its back and cut off its head, instantly killing it.
"Good work troops! I hope you have enough energy left to take down the base though!", Jul said.
The rest of their march went well, and they were able to reach the base within the next few hours.
They already had it planned out, a main squadron of 25 men would meet the main guards at the front gate, lead by the general, while an elite squadron, lead by Jul, would enter a side door and destroy the interior of the base, causing the enemy to retreat. According to their information, the base was disorganized and had no one on command, which would make the operation easier.
So, General Argan led 25 men to the front entrance. The enemy troops quickly realized this, and leapt out to counter attack. The enemy troops nearly doubled Argan's men, however each man of Argan's was hand selected and known for being a true warrior.
"We will wait until the enemy deploys more troops. That way, less of a hassle for us," Jul explained to her troops. After a ten minute battle, 3 of Argan's men were dead, and 30 of the enemey troops were dead. That’s when they deployed reinforcements, and when Jul led her elite squadron through the side door.
They were met by few enemies. A few were dealt with her or there but no huge armies. It seemed to easy. They reached the main control room and killed the few who were there. They destroyed everything, crippling the enemy. It was almost too easy...
Then a sound filtered the silence. It was a lightsaber turning on, and it wasn't Jul's. A man in a black robe walked in, red lightsaber at hand.
Jul instructed her unit to leave, and so they did. "The darkside corrupts young ones like you." Jul said, "You have no chance beating a fully trained Jedi Master like me. Lower your weapon. Don't make me harm you."
"Shut up, witch!" exclaimed the dark jedi as he charged Jul.
Jul simply jumped up, allowing the dark jedi to ram into the wall.
This clearly angered him, and again he charged Jul. This time she ducked down, causing the boy to trip and flip over her, landing back down on the ground.
Truly angered, he attempts to shoot lightning at Jul. She easily blocks it with the force, yet he refuses to stop shooting. Jul reached for her lightsaber, and begins to block the lightning eith that. Then she force pushes the boy back.
He lets out a small scream, but doesn't give up. He again, tries to charge Jul. Jul draws out her other saber, and destroys the young boy's lightsaber.
"Kill me! I have failed!" pleads the boy.
"Unlike you, I avoid temptation and will not give in to things I don't believe in."
Jul takes the boy into captivity and returns to Coruscant, with another successful mission under her belt.
