Appearance: Talus looks like a normal Echani, White Hair and Silver eyed, though strangely, he has naturally bronzed skin, unlike the normal pale of his race. He often dyes his hair a dark brown, in order to hide the knowledge of his Race, while on covert missions. He stands at around 5”10 and is average weight for that height. His hair tends to be a mixture of spiked and messy, though has no maintenance or styling done to it. His complexion is flawless. On his left shoulder blade, he has a black tattoo in the form of an Echani warrior mark.
He does not wear simple robes like normal Jedi. Talus is normally garbed in a white leather shirt and trousers, two grey stripes travel horizontally and vertically in the top corner of the shirt, and a grey stripe down each outside edge of the trousers. He wears black knee-high boots (similar to Luke Skywalker) and Black Gloves, which end just past his wrists. Over his leather clothes he normally wears the robe of the Jedi, the one similar to a Monk Habit, though his is white.

Bio: Talus was born fairly high up in Echani society, his mother being a well respected Warrior, along with his Father. Because of this, he was tutored in the Echani martial arts from Childhood, relishing the speed and agility required rather than brute strength to win, thus he became good at unarmed and melee combat in later life. He was branded with an Echani Warrior mark on his shoulder at age five.
At age six, Thrysus was visited by a passing Jedi Master, an Akura Gungan, whose name Talus cannot remember, merely his face and the fact he weilded a Green Lightsaber. He watched a Martial Art's tournament, in which only children competed. He watched Talus win easily, due to him being able to guess his opponents next move with ease. A common indication of being Force Sensitive. A blood test confirmed this. He remembers leaving his family as they urged him to become a Jedi, known by repuation to the Echani to be powerful warriors. He left in a hired freighter, amongst other passengers, barely speaking to the Gungan Jedi Master.
Upon arriving at the Temple and becoming a Youngling, he attained the nickname Ice, which has kept with him for life. It was not only due to his Ice White Hair and Silver Eyes, but due to his attitude and temperament. Due to his martial art upbringing, he was completely disciplined, unphased by anything he was told, working quietly and well when doing things right, and not making a fuss when making mistakes. He showed very little emotion, exept perhaps the weak or sly smile or an evil look. Probably due to his attitude and commitment, he did well. While doing his Jedi training, Talus was taught the advanced foundations of Echani Martial Arts aswell.
At age thirteen, he participated in a youngling duelling tournament. He came well, placing in the Top Three, not making a fuss when losing. He attracted the attention of Jedi Master and Council Member Gaius Fal'Kirk. Fal'Kirk took Talus in as a Padawan, teaching him the ways of the force and lightsaber combat. In particular he taught Talus how to use the Double Bladed Lightsaber, which he fell in love with at first sight, the discipline and skill needed to weild it and the dazzling skillful lightshow seen when weilding one is what really attracted him to the weapon.
His Padawan years were fairly quiet. Fal'Kirk taking him mainly to the Alderaan and Onderon systems. Most of the time making diplomatic trips and visiting the University of Alderaan. His Alderaan trips were to the most part, unevenful, textbook and peaceful. Training tended to take place in secluded areas, forest clearings, and specifically, on the summits of Alderaanian Mountains. From these training experiences, Talus enjoyed cold and arctic environments, finding them calming and often secluded. He created his Single Lightsaber and then Double Lightsaber in the crystal caves of the Arctic planet Ilum because of this. It was on these Mountains and the Ice Cap, which he had convinced Fal'Kirk to take him to, that Talus did his main training. Training in Depth in Shii-Cho and Double Bladed Lightsaber combat. He was also taught the basics and some intermediate level skills in Soresu and Shien.
He was introduced to Starfighter Combat at around age fifteen. This soon became a passion to Talus. He developed a natural affinity for it, chasing down Raiders attacking freighters on the route to Onderon, downing multiple ships. Talus took his 'Trial by Skill' shortly afterwards. Upon the Raiders getting downed like flies above Onderon, the remaining five fled to the Planet's surface. Talus and Fal'Kirk gave chase, soon to discover it was five dark clothed men piloting the ships. They were all Dark Jedi.
Three of the Dark Jedi ran away, two stayed to hold back the Jedi. Fal'Kirk dispatched his easily, parrying an attack before slicing the man clear in two. Talus had more trouble. There was a vicious fight, parrying here and there, attempting an attack, simply for it to be parried. Eventually, Talus came out on top, slicing the man's right arm clean off, before stabbing one end of his Double Bladed Sabre into the Dark Jedi's chest. They then gave chase to the remaining Dark Jedi. The Jedi commandeered two Speeder Bikes from a small village they had landed in, before getting hot on the heels of the fleeing Dark Jedi. Fal'Kirk dispatched another while Talus chased the two remaining Jedi on foot.
Anatomically, he was faster than his Master so this was the best way to do the job. He did not expect what followed. Talus was ambushed and captured. They attempted to force him to join them, replacing the comrades he had killed. He refused, even when they took out a torture droid... Talus still has scars all across his back and shoulder blades from the millions of tiny blades. Eventually, his master found the building in the village they landed in where he was being held. Fal'Kirk force pushed both Jedi into the walls, where they hit their heads, falling unconcious. His bounds were cut, and lightsaber returned, as the Dark Jedi came round again. One stood up and hit a button the wall, blast doors closed, trapping Talus in the room with them, seperated from his Master.
It was in this room that several his Jedi Trials took place. His Trial of Skill, beating both Dark Jedi in single combat. His Trial of Flesh, withstanding the torture from the Dark Jedi. His Trial of Courage, fighting courageously alone and against difficult odds. Finally, his Trial of Spirit, in not giving in to the torture and joining the Dark Jedi. He was twenty two years old when he achieved the rank of Jedi Knight, and left his Master. Rarely has he seen him since.
In his years as a Jedi Knight, Talus has done mainly covert missions. He lacks good leadership skills, and has ultimately been an indepandant worker all his life, so he goes on most of these missions alone. He did a lot of recconnaissance on a Dark Jedi coven on Ilum. Eventually organising a raid to flush out the Dark Jedi, him personally killing their leader. He has thus far refused to take a Padawan, though the Jedi Council are increasingly pressuring him to do so. He has returned to Coruscant to look at prospective applicants for this process. Though it is unlikely for him to find a Padawan he takes a liking too, due to his independant and no nonsense nature.
