Birth place: Alderaan/Terranium
Occupation: Senator of Alderaan
Rank: Main Senator
Bio: Kaieri was born to Dagg'or and Melisande Jankswan during the early summer months in Alderaan. She spent most of her time with her mother as a young child in their home in Terranium. Her earliest memories with her mother were at the lake not far from her home. Her mother sat on the grass, smiling as she tottered around, looking at flowers or staring into the water of the lake. When Kaieri was tired she took her in her arms, asking her if she wanted to go home. Despite her protests, Her mother took her back home where she rested. Her mother's sickness she remembered well. She was around six when her mother's symptoms first started. She coughed terribly hard, and at one point Kaieri was sent away from her mother. She stayed with her grandparents for seven long months, learning at the hand of her Grandmother, though her teachings never really interested her. One day her father came while she was sitting in the parlor of her grandparents' home and told her the news of her mothers death.
After the funeral of Melisande, her father saw it necessary that she immediately started her education. Her father hired a tutor for her basic studies; learning the planets and their place in the galaxy which always set off her imagination. After a few years when she was eight, her father decided he would take Kaieri with him on one of his trips to meet the senate. Naboo was their first stop, where their defenses were strong, and she fell in love with it immediately. It reminded her of Alderaan, with the green landscape, the lakes; everything about it reminded her of home. On this trip, the eight year old met someone who would be a great influence on her later in life.
Senator Donald Kail was the first person she met in the senate. She looked up to him as a hero, as she observed most people did. They respected him, loved him, which made her wonder at times: Was it nice to be adored like that? Did it feel nice to be everyones hero? It made her want to me admired like that. He taught her some things about politics, which started her interest in being a politician.
After her journey to Naboo, Kaieri, who was fifteen at this point, began trying to learn things about the senate. On one visit back to Alderaan, when she was back home in the study she heard talk among her father and some of the politicians of Alderaan. They talked of her being in the senate one day, taking her fathers place when she was old enough. The chat went on for nearly half an hour when her father came into the study. He asked her if she was truly interested in becoming a part of politics, which she eagerly confirmed.
It was a matter of days before took her studies in politics. She read books of law, took notes on anything her new tutor or father said and tried accompanying her father when ever possible. Between studies and traveling, Kaieri would from time to time pull out memories of her home and of her mother. She was afraid that if she kept going on with her hectic schedule without thinking of these things, she feared she might forget them. She carried with her a pressed flower of Alderaan and a few of her mothers things that included her necklace, brush, and a hair pin.
At age seventeen she had learned the basics of law in the senate, having learned the names of senators and their roll in politics. Senator Kail and her father were a major help to her studies, helping her with whatever they could. At times she and her father would discuss some of the minor topics of conversation where he would ask to hear her theories. He often found her ideas interesting enough to retell them to Senator Kail who would return to her and ask questions on her opinion.
At age twenty two she was elected into senate, though she wasn't chief senator of Alderaan while her father remained Senator. She found this a critical time to learn how the senate fully functioned, seeing as she had never truly been allowed to see how it worked. Mostly she observed the senate in action, while other times she gave her opinion when it was asked for. A time or two the topic of a suspected war came up, and it seemed Senator Kail was the only one who believed it was a possibility. The other senators like her father believed it not to be true and mostly shrugged it off, not letting the situation go to their minds, and she did the same though it popped into her mind from time to time.
When she was twenty four her father resigned from office, and from her years she had worked up to be next in line in the event of her father's leave. She was now main senator of Alderaan and had to put all of her studies and observations to good use. she helped the senate come to decisions on different matters, and helped back in Alderaan, even when she was away with the senate. She remains the main senator of Alderaan for the time being, until the next elections.

Role Play Sample: Another meeting down... That was the best way to put it. Kaieri rubbed her eye, it was getting late and she was growing tired. Besides, these meetings could make one very drowsy after hours of discussing political matters, hearing the bickering of senators.
She paced down the hall, thinking on everything that had happened during the meeting. "Well, I'm just glad it's over..." True, she thought, But there will be others. Kaieri couldn't deny she loved what she did, anyone could see that. Yet there was something besides politics that she felt she needed.
But politics was what she had always wanted, so why was some part, however small it may have been, displeased? Was being senator not enough for her? That couldn't be it, she didn't even know if she could withstand another term as the chief senator. Maybe just a regular senator would suffice for next term.
She couldn't leave her people at the drop of a hat, no, she'd wait until it was time for the next election of senators, then take a step down. Maybe her father would take the job as Senator again. "Yeah, that's likely..." She muttered, looking out a window at the stars that shined above Alderaan, hoping maybe they, if no one else, could help her.
