OOH! OOH! Lookie! More new pics!

Wait...what?! They're not of Aunna OR Vex?! Then who....

OMG! It's Latus' character Axle Finne! Lol....yeah, it seems Wicked's found yet another character to grow attached to....I think it's the wings ^_~

Anyway, here's how his look developed:



^ the first image drawn. originally a teaser pic (had to darken it considerably, sorry...) that turned into the basis for his eyes and nose.



^ the second image drawn (tonight) looks good, but something just wasn't right about it...the facial structure, however, was spot on!



^ another great pic, but a bit too dark (and angled) for Axle in general...perhaps when he's angry he'd get this look, but...considering he's only around 18...it seemed a bit to old. The hair was the closest for this one though...



^ and so we arrive at this one...the result of a combination of the three....Wicked loved it, I love it, now all there is to see is if Lat will love it....

here's to hoping!

Oh! and while we're on the topic of Axle....



Oh dear...it seems Vex is getting a bit jealous of Axle potentially stealing his limelight...let's just hope Vex doesn't get the notion that Axle will try to steal Aunna also....Dire can tell us all about how THAT would turn out....LOL

HOW TO KILL A VAMPIRE (if you're a Jedi)

1) Draw your lightsaber and slice off the Vampire's head.

2) The Vampire will likely return tomorrow with his head back on. Avoid sharp parts.

3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 until Vampire gives up and leaves you alone.

HOW TO KILL A JEDI (if you're a Vampire)

1) Turn into a bat (all REAL Vampires can do this after all)

2) Sneak into the Jedi's room while he is sleeping.

3) Suck his blood thus turning him into a Vampire.

4) Dodge erratic swings of lightsaber as half-asleep Jedi blindly tries to hit the bat with it.

5) Fill a supersoaker with holy water.

6) Shoot Vampire Jedi with holy water.

(please note that the holy water should not be used in our first guide titled "HOW TO KILL A VAMPIRE (if you're a Jedi)" as squirt guns are clumsy and aren't backed by hockey religions)

douse SELF in holy water BEFORE vampire comes to bite you...if that doesn't work, be sure to have a bucket full of the stuff sitting by your bed so that when he tries to come and bite you, you can just dump it on him.

*glares at Arh* The turning into the bat thing is as made up as the killing with garlic. It just came out of the appearance of the wings. And garlic just smells really bad, and vampires simply have a really good sense of smell.

Oooo, I think I wants to change the pic in my avvie to replace the giant bald head with a picture of a ferret...inside of the glowly blue thing...or at least a ferret's head.

Wicked; I just appreciate you taking the time to draw this character in the first place. The pictures appear to be turning out well. Anyway, I'm surprised you took such a liking to him though the wings are a bit... appealing.

Alright...so...starting with Axle this time. I know it isn't the right position for the ponytail, but i had to remind wicked of how you wanted it lat ^.^;



Also, had to put together/Improvise a bit on this next one to get the wings in there. Also, was a sketch so...no mouth. *shrug*



Apparently this next one was inspired by one of wicked's co-workers stealing his tiwnky....or...something (btw...the wolf has it ^.~)

The Misadventures of Wicked

So...as you may or may not have heard, I have some wicked art coming...an actual piece, not sketches like these hawt pics here. Now...I went to go see him last night because he was taunting me with it, and O.M.G....I'd thought I'd seen him draw before, but this is just insanely good...

AND IT ISN'T EVEN DONE YET!

Now...with that said...he told me some...rather interesting facts about how he's gone about making this piece of art. I looked at him stupid for one of his misadventures and laughed at most of the others...but I have to say, for everything he did/cut/mauled/stared at/conned people into doing...it's so far VERY worth it. To give you an idea of some of the things he did...

1) he conned a couple of people into posing for him (not exactly in the buff, but from what I was told, pretty close to it)

2) he spent a good long while staring at not only his iPod (attached to his upper arm), but also the temperature thermostat at his job to get ideas for Vex's arm monitor for his life support system

3) studying of gas masks, breathing masks, previous aun/vex art, star wars art, watched all 6 movies to study clothing and weapons and such

4) cut/taped/toyed with: AM/PM drink cups, small/thin baking soda (?) boxes, tube socks, a towel and i'm sure many other things he's not mentioned to me...

5) while with some buddies he took a broken paintball mask, a dust mask, and a vacuum cleaner hose, mauled, then modeled them...you can imagine what THOSE were for....>.>...needless to say he had to pay his friends so they could replace the hose...

6) he's had people offer to buy the unfinished image for up to $200...and when i say unfinished i mean pencil and only one person fully clothed (not to worry vex, he's fully clothed now as well ^.^)

all of this and now he's going to ink it up and shade it a bit...it's on a full sheet of storyboard paper (it's a BIG image and i'm wondering how the heck i'mma scan this baby)...his personal deadline is Wednesday, but i'm not rushing him....it's looking WAAAAY to good to rush it. Hell, even HE's in love with it...and for anyone who does anything creative to like their own work that much...seriously says something for the piece.

Anyway....

just SUPER excited and cant wait to see the completed version of it!
