Crash plot (V/A/A & Royals)

Okay, so since this too is getting a bit large....I've decided to start yet another plot thread for Sali's crash landing into lower Coruscant.

IDEA:

So, here's the basic Idea of the thread, right? Vex and Aun are headed through lower coruscant to get to the landing pads near the gardens where the Senator's Gala is being held...this is because their ticket off planet will be meeting them there the next morning.

Sali, on her way from the gala, with her new jedi bodyguard (of sorts), will end up crashing into the lower city because of some vengeful assassins (or something).

Our dashing duo (and Ayer) will be there to save the day and cause a bit of confusion, consternation, and i'm sure there's another 'con' word I could use here (but i'm not about to look it up) in the process of helping the queen and her (now doubting) jedi.

It also seems that Rook might be involved....but how?

Any of you who've read about Sali you know her mother and father were assassinated. Sali usurped their regicidal group and they've been, well, taken care of. >)

Well, now we're got sons who aren't so happy about that. And I've twisted out another reason for Sali to be at the Gala. She was going to get to a different planet while her security looked into this rebellious little group that have hateful feelings toward the Queen.

They'll be attacking her shuttle. Ryn's to be there, and Xierra, it seems (maybe). And Ayer, Vex, and Aunna will be there to kind of pick up the Queen, dust her off, and... do something. Heh.

And if Rook's there, that'd be awesome. >.<

Meira...Rook HAS to be there. I don't know how and I don't know why he would be....but he HAS TO BE THERE.

He's the crown prince of Corellia, no? He would know Aunna.

The Borgonia family has been a high ranking military / low ranking noble family for the Corellian crown for.....generations....She and Jade had worked under Donald Kail when he was still part of the Corellian Navy. They would have been there for the balls and gala's the crown held for the nobles.

Rook NEEDS to learn the truth of the matter...or at least start wondering about the 'truth' that she's a traitor.

We really need to find a way for him to be there.

Well, actually... Rook is third in line for the throne. BUT that might change. I'm trying to decide if I want to have his two brothers assassinated.

See, here's the whole thing with Rook. His eldest brother is crown prince, the middle brother is now a General in the Navy (or admiral or whatever is really high up there), and Rook just sort of existed for a while. He gained the reputation of a bad boy prince for a while, until his closest friend died during a drunken outing. Royal advisers spun the catastrophe to make Rook look like a hero and save face for the Royal Family (thus the blood stripe), but it sent Rook into an extremely rebellious depression. After going on a binge/running away thing, he was brought back to the palace by force and the King said he could either shape up as the newly appointed Junior Senator under Donald Kail, or he could be disowned.

So, being on his last leg and all... and assassination of his brothers that suddenly thrusts him into being crown prince would be, well... the last thing anyone expects really. And if his brothers AND father are assassinated, well... that'd be crazy.

But yeah, he would know the Borgonia family.

So...I was talking to Squeekers (squee) and we both thought that maybe one of two things would happen...

1) he's on her transport when it crashes. Why? because something happened to his and he needed a ride, so they left together.

2) he sees her transport go down and goes out to find her himself/mounts a rescue party (though i hope he leaves the rest of the rescue party behind...that could get way to sticky and personally, I'd like to keep vex from killing people in this thread. ^_^

I'll have to read up on Aun to see if we can work out some kind of history.

As far as the two options....

I kind of like the idea of him mounting a personal rescue. In spite of his bad-boy reputation, he's got an inherent sense of chivalry and all.

I kind of had an idea of him casually flirting with Sali for a good portion of the night. Perhaps they leave at the same time, but not together. They're traveling in the same direction and he sees her ship go down. He instructs his driver to get closer so he can investigate, but the driver is a coward, so Rook just has him drop him off or he speeds away as soon as Rook is out of the speeder. Rook is aware of the whole story of Sali's family, so when he sees her ship go down, he suspects fowl play.

Arheim is behind in posts due to finals so i'm having ayer flickering in and out of stasis due to low power, that way Arh can post or not as he wishes.

Not really standing on formalities here, just try to keep posting in some order or other, not strict however.

Until we meet up, feel free to post once or twice in your groups (ex: vex & aun may post once or twice before sali & ryn do....or Sali & Ryn may post once or twice before Vex & Aun post again...but try not to post more than twice)....HOWEVER....once we're all together one post a round please ^_^
