Shistavanens

Heya guys!

Well I was wondering about shistavanens, do they ever have a inter-species marriages? I know most of them are very secluded to their own race and clans, but my charecter Davis Cari'Tan is a unusual one, being raised to think all races are equal and he mingles with them easily and even has many friends among humans, twi'leks, bothans, etc. Would it be unreasonable to think that he could marry/have someone he cares for that isn't shistavanen? Reply on what you all think.

It wouldn't be unreasonable simply for the fact that every person is different, and thus every SW character is different. Just because a particular tribe or clan believes in seclusion from other races, doesn't necessarily mean that every member of that said clan or tribe abides by these rules. So yeah I'd say go for it, plus it's your character, play it how you want, otherwise there's no fun in playing them. Just my personal thoughts...

I would agree with Keton.

Like you said, Shistavanens are known for being isolationists. In
general, they don't like people that aren't of their race. But, since
your character was raised to believe in the equality of all races
and sounds like a friendly guy, he obviously wouldn't act like
most Shistavanens. The very fact that your character is out-and-
about in the galaxy supports the idea that he's different, open to
new experiences.

Whatever your idea on his relationship with another char / npc, I say go for it.

It's very possible he could have a relationship with another species.

Whether it would carry on further into intimacy/marriage would be another question altogether. Because, obviously, anatomy would come into play. And your character could not have children with this being (we only allow canon hybrids).

But merely a relationship, I think would be okay.

Obviously. If it came to them wanting a child, they'd adopt. Plenty of orphaned children in the galaxy. Anyways, alright thanks for your opinions guys! Very much appreciated.

I'd say yes on the fact of his upbringing. ON research of the Noghri, being with drawn from events, they've had out side contact, tho not good. A species that wants to advance in the galaxie has to broaden their mind. Just as I've done with mine. Going from Clanal killing to the betterment of their planetand species. They get to the point of species eradifaction before they see the need for change.
