Cai Xu walked to the small building on the corner of the street. She was heading toward another interview. From what she knew she would be meeting a memeber of teh Republic named Damien Meesha. Although not a general, Damien had captured a Republic traitor. However, the traitor escaped on the way to execution.
She kne the interview would be interesting, and many people would tune in later that night to view it.
And so, she found the building, walked up the steps and awaited further direction to the interview.

In his small office, Master Sergeant Damien Jilius Meesha worked on paperwork. Unknown to him, his Higher-ups had decided to sent a Reporter to him to talk about the most recent mission, a total Failure on Nar Shadaa of which he was still doing paperwork from.
When an Assistant buzzed that the Reporter had arrived, Damien sat back in his chair and sighed, putting the Paperwork away. That was classified, and she wasn't allowed to see it. The Assistant would show the Reporter in, so now, all he had to do was wait. Sighing, he closed his eyes and shook his head. What was military command thinking?

Cai Xu was directed toward the small office. She had a thin smile on her face, and her brown hair was professional tied behing her head in a pony tail.
Cai knocked on the door twice, and then let herself in. "Hello. Are you Master Sergeant Damien Meesha?" Cai obviously knew the answer, but asked for professional record.
"I am Cai Xu, reporter with the HNN. Perhaps you have heard of us?" she asked, extending her hand to be shaken.
"I would like to aske you a few questions about your career and accomlpishments for a story tonight." her voice was at a gentle tone. It showed both confidence and friendliness at the same time.

His eyes watching the Vampire-like appendage of the Mass media, Damien only Grunted when she checked his name. When she continued, he could only laugh. No, I've lived on Coruscant since I was 3, and I've never heard of HNN he said, sarcastically, ignoring her hand as he stood up and straightened his dress uniform. If you have questions, go on and Ask them so I can Finish my paperwork, alright?

Cai tried to ignore Damien's attitude. There seemed to be three type of people when it came to interviews: Those that only wanted popularity, those that wanted nothing to do with the press, and the very rare people who knew that reporters were just doing there jobs and supporting themselves in life. It is somewhat obvious what category Cai thought Damien was in, but she had dealt with worse, and so she was able to deal with it. If he wanted to be portrayed to the common public like a jerk, Cai did not have a problem with that.
So, Cai reached into her pocket and got out a pen and notepad which she always carried. She found a chair in front of Damien's desk and sat down.
"Almost everyone in Coruscant has heard that you captured a traitor hidden in the military. Can you clarify the true story behind this event?" Cai asked. I was an easy question, and Cai could only hope Damien would take it that way.

I can the Military man replied gruffly, sighing as he sat back down and looked at the reporter for a minute before speaking.
My Squad's mission was one of prolonged Deployment. We were supposed to Await the Major's appearance so that we could...Rescue her. Unfortunately, after a Prolonged battle with Unfriendly Forces, resulting in the loss of about half of my squad, We discovered her protecting a known criminal
Looking away, Damien shook his head. We took her into custody immediately afterwards

"Hmm..." Cai mumbled, scribbling Damien's words onto her notebook.
"In your eyes, how do you think the capture of this traitor has affected the Republic, and what do you think would have happened if the traitor had remained in the Republic?" Cai asked.

"In your eyes, how do you think the capture of this traitor has affected the Republic, and what do you think would have happened if the traitor had remained in the Republic?" Cai asked. With a Mighty Sigh, the Lifetime military man played with a pen on his desk as he considered the question. As I see it? The Major's Capture and release exposes the fact that we're not Robots, we're Beings with our own feelings and motives. She Likely had her own decent reasonings in her own mind, but...I can't understand it. he said, turning and looking out the window that sat behind his desk. And as to how things would turn out if she had Stayed? We would have the Dark Jedi, both of them in custody, we would have still taken losses, but we'd have wiped out the sith Presence on Nar Shaddaa Afterwards

"One last question," Cai said. Her tone was touched with hapiness, as she knew that this interview would be of interest to the Republic.
"The fugitive you brought in escaped recently from a maximum security center. With that in mind, what are your department's goals involving the crime?" Cai asked.

Raising an Eyebrow, Damien stood, Pointing to a picture behind him. It was him and his Squad, his arms around a Female Devaronian, the Squad positioned around them. Behind them, a Massive pod sat on the Ground, What almost looked like a pair of Feet coming from the bottom showing the inside of the pod, stuffed with gear.
My Squad, My department is A special Operations force known as H.A.L.O.A.T.W. he said, turning to look at the Picture for a minute. That means that we are generally deployed out of a Ship, fired out of a Glorified cannon, We land, and we stay. We're shocktroopers with Longterm Capability. The Name is High Altitude Low Opening Advanced Tactics Warfare Group. he continued, sitting down.
The Major's Escape has nothing to do with us unless she's found on a Well-defended planet and needed to be brought back. Even then, we're given a Kill on Sight command. She is, as of now an Enemy Combatant. We're not search and Rescue dogs, We're like a Missile with more firepower.
Closing his eyes, he sighed. It was a pleasure to meet you Ma'am

"Thankyou for your time." Cai smiled. She extended her hand into a firm shake, and then took her leave. Walking back through the small offices, she simply thought about what she would say on the report later that evening.
