As Je'Baru waited for the tide to come in so he could gain a few more precious yards toward the beach, he uses his Khabac shield grappler system to spike another good size fish. He already had three large fish one to attract other fish as life form cover, the others with remote thermo detonators, so that he could when ready throw them at his prey.
He needed all the skills that Marcus had taught him. This prey was big, not just in size but in power. A Dark Jedi is not one to be easy handled, but the hunt was complicated by his prey being a wookiee at that.
The tide started to rise. Je'Baru's plan had not needed for a full front attack but the environment made it necessary. As he approached the shallow waters he forced him self to calm, dropping all thought, slowing breath, slowing of his heart and removing all emotion even that of a predator. Marcus taught him to sense only the heart beat and the taste of blood.
Emerging from the water, his AI unit engaged his Khabac shield making a soft click as each Khabac locked in place. Je'Baru's AI unit also engaged its eminent threat detector. Anyone who would have seen him emerge for the water would have ran or shot at him by now. Knowing his prey was a wookiee made things of that unnecessary. As he was about 20' away he dropped two of the fish, one was the bait the other a det perch. Hopefully the wookiee would over look the det a be more interested in him, if not then he would have to make him interested.
Je'Baru reached behind himself with both hands. In the right hand was his Norysh the other he hid another remote controlled thermo-det by the shield. Shrieking a Noghri war cry-shrill he charged at the prey. When reaching 7' away from the prey he drop rolled the remote det toward the wookiee's feet. At five feet he jumped so as to leap over the wookiee. Coming to the apex of the arc of the leap he used his khabac grappling system to yank him to the nearest tree so that he could try for another go at his prey.
Hoping the wookiee was dumb enough to pick up the undetonated thermo-det, so that this hunt would be quick and he could be on his way home to collect the bounty on this Dark Jedi's head.
