Reason For Roleplay: This RP needs a big group of Elite Mercenaries.... (And the Mandos dont count..)
Info: The Eclipse Shadow Army (ESA), is a group of about 600 elite mercenaries and 100 civvillians founded by Dak Hykor, and Co-founded by Derga Rem'nar, about two years ago. They currently have a base on Hoth, a ground base hidden deep within the tunnels, and an asteroid base in the asteroid field above the planet. They also have a small colony consisting of about 100 civvillians and 50 soldiers and techs on (insert warm, neutral planet near hoth here) They have one old Sith Interdictor, one Hammerhead-class cruiser, and three Republic Blockade runners, along with the members' personal craft. Since the Base on Hoth is a well-guarded secret, the recruiting center is on Nar Shadda. They are very stealth-based, although they still use traditional tactics. Since Blasters cannot have silencers or flash supressors, they still use silenced/flash supressed projectile weapons for stealth operations.
There are three main types of Mercenaries employed by the ESA. (there are other areas for people with different skills, but these are the main three...)
1: Stealth Operatives (Three subcategories)
1: Specialty: Gadgets - Blue Goggles
2: Specialty: Weapons - Red Goggles
3: Solo Operative - Green Goggles
The Stealth Operatives work in two pairs, One specializing with gadgets, the other with weapons, until they have shown that they have enough skills to work alone, then they are promoted to a solo operative. Stealth teams are sometimes used to support solo operatives on particularly dangerous assignments. Stealth Operatives must be in extremely good shape, and learn many specialized skills and acrobatics. They use silenced projectile pistols and rifles as their primary weapons.
2: Elite Squads (Until I can think of a better name
)
These are highly trained elite mercenaries that unlike the Stealth Operatives, utilize blasters and other not-so-quiet weapons to get the job done.
The armor is basically the same for all classes, but varies in color.
3: Force-Users
This is a very small group, with only thirteen members, including Derga Rem'nar. They wear armor similar to the Elites, but they can also be stealthy, like the Stealth Operatives when necessary.
