The only reason that I've not been posting is just the same as what I posted in Scraplands. My Squad is for one purpose, Rapid Insertion on Ground-based targets. We're not Marines, so we really aren't there to board ships or Bum around on ships unless it's there to launch our Drop Pods. That said, if Arheim's involved, I don't really care, But I don't see the need for a Shock and Awe Unit to Board some Medical ship or whatever's happening.


Seriously though, ya'll need to consider actually putting up something that Explicitly details what the mission's supposed to be about, this dicking around and not telling everyone who's supposed to be involved in some way leads only to confusion, which there's a LOT of in this thread

Alright, so I've not just posted ONCE, but twice in this thread, the first post was pretty much supposed to be an intro, Setting up where Damien was this whole time, what he was doing, what they were about to do. However, since the whole thing about Spec For being First in to clear the way for a more through sweep was ignored, I've posted a second time, Pretty much letting me Stay in the thread, just not having to follow Lt. Jumprightintothings there.

Nothing was ever said about "Lt. Jumpingintothings" being the first into the breach. You had plenty of room to do your job. I only outlined the first objective that would have been obvious for infantrymen to do. They are not Marines, so they are only lightly trained to board ships, thats why they got pretty chewed up out there, and also I made it pretty clear that Jarka is too new to be doing an assault like this, thats why he got chewed up by an IED hit.

Now please, do not whine anymore about how you guys were supposed to be in first. As you said, you are not Marines, therefore, you do not need to be pestering me about how you were supposed to be in first through PM.

I was just trying to do my job as best I could in a situation my unit is not well versed in. Any further PM's directed at me on this subject from you, Black will be ignored, because I did my job correctly.

2: you're right, we're not marines, but again, this could have a disagreement avoided if you were one to read posts through, instead of Skimming them as you admitted to doing in the PM. I understand, you don't have all the time in the world, but reading a few paragraphs doesn't take 3 hours or anything like that usually.

If the Squad's not well trained in something, why rush into it? Why not sit back and watch, rather then Just running in and getting to watch your people die. I realize that this is just some Roleplay, but did you think about the Psychological Issues that watching your Squad getting torn to shreds brings up? Sean's in my Squad and is STILL miserable about Nar Shadaa, the only way Damien's been able to cope is by getting tattoos of the people he lost. A Squad is like a FAMILY, Watching your family die around you sucks, I'm sure.

Did I? I tried to join the thread, give a chance for recognition before going into battle, waiting for my last squad member and whatnot. I'm pretty sure... let me go check....

Ok, so no, I didn't say first in especially, but, I did say

They were going in hot. Clear the Main Hanger area where the Transports would be landing, then Moving through and Clearing out anyone that didn't belong.

I mean, a Hanger bay on a ship has what, 2, three exits? That's a setup for a perfect deathtrap, Hence the need for heavy Weaponry.




But, the posting's done, it's moved on. I'm going to be annoyed, because that's a lot of Damage done to a unit that could have been used later on in this mission thing. There's the unneeded psychological damage that's been done to your character, PTSD's a bitch, trust me.

You're being a pain about things, and so as a member of the thread I'm asking you to stop harassing people for the way they RP things out... people will do things you don't like, tough luck.

As a mod, I'm giving you a warning on your actions. We cannot tolerate disrespect. Your attitude is uncalled for. You are entitled to your opinions, but you MUST learn to be CIVIL about how you say your opinions. Calling other members derogatory names (ex: Lt. Jumprightintothings) is NOT the way to get people to listen to you.

NOW, you have three choices.

1) chill out and let people do what they are going to do (you're not in the position to control things in the thread OOC OR IC)

2) leave the plot and just avoid the entire hassle, we could use your help, but is it worth it with the attitude your giving?

or

3) you continue to act the way you have been, I give you a warning level and notify the other Mods and Admin of your attitude so that the next time this complaint comes up you get a one day ban.

I know its early (I was going to put this idea up later, once they actually made it to Subterrel) but what do you all think about this? Squee and myself have been brainstorming (kind of)

The crew gets a shore leave, early I know, on Mon Cal or Manaan when Terrorists attack Ahto city in an attempt to hold up the Kolto production. Squee has said that Cersa would be among the ones captured... and I am thinking that Crassus would be as well. This would leave the Ship's XO (my NPC) in charge for the little mission.

Thats all that I have worked out so far... so yeah... any ideas? Got a better one? Like Eclipses better than mine? G'head and say something

I kinda like your idea, That's totally perfect for my team actually, hmmm...Someone needs to make a Psychologist character, maybe an NPC? Stuff for Hostage Situations and whatnot.

Basic Medical Training inclusive of Minor Psych work =/= Hostage Situation Psychology though, That's a LOT tougher
