EARLY YEARS
Cygnus BlackSun was born to Orion BlackSun and Spelledora Nalju, the daughter of Count Severino Nalju. Count Severino was the leader of the Nalju Family, one of the Six Great Houses of Serenno. Though Spelledora was disinherited when she married a weapons manufacterer named Orion BlackSun. Because of this, Cygnus never saw any of the Nalju family while he was growing up.
The BlackSun family lived in a decent sized home in Carannia, seperated from the Nalju family. Cygnus had a rather decent childhood, and not much happened from the ages of one to four. Though when Cygnus was six, something strange happened. Two Jedi arrived in Carannia and they were looking for him.
Cygnus couldn't understand why two Jedi would come there looking for a six year old child. About a day after the two Jedi arrived in Carannia, they stopped by the BlackSun household and told them that Cygnus was special. They told Orion and Spelledora that Cygnus had the Force in him. The Jedi informed Orion and Spelledora that they were going to take Cygnus to Coruscant to be trained in the ways of the Jedi. Eventually Orion and Spelledora agreed and Cygnus said a final good-bye to his parents and left with the Jedi for Coruscant. Cygnus was sad that he was to leave his parents, but right before he left, his parents told him "We know you will be a great Jedi. You could have a future with the Jedi that you could never have here. Remember your our son, and we are doing this because we know it's the right thing to do." It was his parents words to him that comforted Cygnus during his years of training at the Jedi Temple.
JEDI YOUNGLING: AGES SIX-TWELVE
Once Cygnus had arrived on Coruscant, the two Jedi who had brought him from Serenno, took him to the Jedi Temple and introduced him to the other Jedi Masters. Following this introduction, Cygnus was sent to train with the rest of the Younglings. Cygnus was trained by many Masters, but took a liking to an old human Jedi Master named Festar Marx. Master Marx was the one who, in Cygnus' eyes, epitomized what it meant to be a Jedi.
For four years, Cygnus trained with the Younglings, and then tragedy struck him. Master Marx died while on a mission for the Jedi Order. Master Marx's ship collided with a massive pillar on the planet Kuras IV in the Outer Rim. This caused Cygnus intense greif, as he had looked up to Master Marx for the past four years, and viewed him as a second father figure. The intense grief Cygnus felt, worried many of the Jedi Masters, but a few of them thought that since Cygnus was still so young, these feelings were beyond his control.
So life went on. Cygnus continued his training with the Younglings, and when not training he wandered the Temple opening his mind to Jedi knowledge and requesting knowledge from any Master willing to give it. Then on the eve of Cygnus' twelveth birthday, he was made the Padawan of a female Jedi Knight named Kolivara Newvat.
JEDI PADAWAN: AGES TWELVE-FOURTEEN
With Cygnus being chosen as a Padawan, marked what should have been the path to Knighthood, but would not be the case of young Cygnus BlackSun. For the first few months since Cygnus was made a Padawan, Kolivara had them stay at the Jedi Temple so Cygnus could further his training, at least for a few months longer, before they underwent any mission.
After Kolivara had decided that Cygnus had enough training to at least accompany her on a misson, her and Cygnus left the Temple. Their planet of destination was Ilum, a planet sacred to the Jedi. Kolivara intended to have Cygnus locate a crystal for his first actual lightsaber. Cygnus was going to cast aside his training saber on Ilum.
When Kolivara's ship landed on Ilum, Cygnus immediatly wanted to explore this exciting new world, but Kolivara insisted he remain by her side the entire time. Cygnus hesitantly agreed, for he still wanted to search the area. Though he would do as his Master wished of him.
Kolivara took Cygnus to a crystal cave and told him to locate a coloring crystal for his new lightsaber. Cygnus searched the cave and found one that suited him. It was silver, and remined him of the Room of a Thousand Fountains, back at the Jedi Temple. Returning the crystal to Kolivara, she pulled out lightsaber parts from the sack slung on her back, and told him to create a lightsaber. Normally, this was done at the Jedi Temple, but Kolivara wanted Cygnus to pick a crystal that was best for him.
Cygnus used the Force and carefully created his lightsaber. After this creation, Cygnus and Kolivara returned to her ship, where she then began to plot a course for the planet Iridonia, strictly for diplomatic purposes. Though Iridonia was firmly under Republic control, there were rumors of Zabraki uprisings. Kolivara and Cygnus were sent there to find out.
When Cygnus and Kolivara arrived in Malidris, they were greeted by the Zabrak head-of-state. Kolivara and the Zabrak leader began long discussions about if there was any truth to the Zabraki uprising rumors. Though, eventually the Zabrak leader convinced Kolivara there had been no such uprisings. Then, Kolivara and Cygnus departed.
They returned to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where Cygnus continued his training. About a year after their return to the Jedi Temple, Kolivara took Cygnus to the training room, where they had their weekly duel. In this duel, the feelings Cygnus had kept subdued for all those years, reared themselves. Cygnus stabbed Kolivara through the chest with his lightsaber. Once it was done, Cygnus was overcome with remorse and fear. Unsure if the Jedi would believe he was truly sorry for it, Cygnus fled the Jedi Temple and bought passage back to his native Serenno. He didn't have any credits, so he sold the only thing he had of value, his lightsaber. This was a difficult decision for Cygnus but he knew he couldn't stay on Coruscant any longer.
EXILE ON SERENNO: AGES FOURTEEN TO TWENTY-TWO
Once Cygnus had returned to Serenno, he sought out his parents and told them what had happened. Spelledora, then took Cygnus to her father, and asked him to shield Cygnus under a cloak of Serenno power. That was to say, to shield Cygnus by means of giving him the protection of one of the Six Great Houses of Serenno. Severino, who had never seen his grandson before, eventually agreed to protect Cygnus. Spelledora thanked Severino and left.
For three years, Cygnus was trained in every aspect of war and diplomacy, by some of the best teachers Serenno had to offer. Cygnus particularly excelled in melee combat, where he was using a vibroblade, to go toe-to-toe with his teacher. When Cygnus turned seventeen, he was given twenty thousand credits to spend however he pleased. He chose to buy a blockade runner, which he dubbed "Lighting Bird."
With this addition, Severino enlisted the aid of a highly skilled pilot named Cersan Karr. Karr trained Cygnus as a pilot for two years, and then Karr unexpectedly departed Serenno, bringing Cygnus' training under him to an end. It angered Cygnus that Cersan had left Serenno without completing his training. Cygnus brought this to the attention of Severino, who just brushed it off and told him to stop complaining about. Cygnus was annoyed at Severino's lack of concern, but saw there was nothing he (Cygnus) could do about it. For four more years, Cygnus would be taught various subjects by various teachers, until his departure from Serenno when he was twenty-two. Cygnus bid farewell to Severino and his (Cygnus') parents, and then left Serenno for he had intended to only travel and visit the planet Naboo, and then return to Serenno. Though Cygnus' plan would not go as he hoped.
DARK JEDI APPRENTICE ON NABOO: AGES TWENTY-TWO TO TWENTY-FOUR
When the "Lightning Bird" landed in Theed, Cygnus immediatly sought out the contact Severino had in Naboo. A man by the name of Ralgadorr Grainer. Grainer promised to show Cygnus around Naboo, but secretly Ralgadorr was planning to betray Cygnus and hand him over to a Dark Jedi. Ralgadorr knew all about Cygnus' stint with the Jedi, and had only promised to show Cygnus around, just to get him to Naboo.
Ralgadorr took Cygnus out to one of the many forests on Naboo, and signaled for the Dark Jedi to come. To keep Cygnus distracted until the Dark Jedi came, Ralgadorr was explaining the different types of flora and fauna that could be found in that exact area. After about ten minutes of this, Cygnus felt a dark presence approaching, and tried to flee, but was cut off from Ralgadorr on one side and the dark presence on the other.
Eventually, the Dark Jedi emerged and Cygnus was trapped. Ralgadorr and the Dark Jedi talked like they were old friends, until the Dark Jedi turned to Cygnus. The Dark Jedi was a human male named Kevlar Tresst. Cygnus was greatly angered by Ralgadorr's betrayal, and pulling out a vibro-shiv, he began to move towards Ralgadorr. Ralgadorr began to plead with Tresst to intervene, but Tresst just stood back and watched with a cruel smile on his face. Cygnus struck the unarmed Ralgadorr down, and as he turned to attack Tresst, he saw that Tresst was smiling at him.
Tresst said he was impressed with the Force flowing through Cygnus, and said he was also impressed with how Cygnus had used his anger at Ralgadorr to kill him. Tresst presented Cygnus with the offer to be his apprentice and train under him. Cygnus quickly accepted Tresst's offer without hesitation. Tresst took Cygnus back to his camp, which was in the heart of the forest, with trees on all sides for miles. Tresst's camp was stocked with enough supplies for four years. The numerous durasteel containers that lined the camp stored it all. Cygnus knew not of how so much supplies could be transported without notice. Immediatly, Tresst began to train Cygnus in the ways of the Dark Side. For two years this continued, until Cygnus was strong enough in the Force for Tresst to name him a Dark Jedi Knight. Cygnus was twenty-four years old.
DARK JEDI KNIGHT ON NABOO: AGES TWENTY-FOUR TO TWENTY-SEVEN
With Cygnus' promtion, Tresst pushed him to about his breaking point in training. It was also then that Tresst presented Cygnus with a new saber, a shoto blade that Tresst had taken from a Jedi he killed. Cygnus wasn't to pleased with the new saber, but seeing as he didn't have one before, it would do.
For two more years, Cygnus trained in lightsaber dueling but always lost to his Master Tresst. Tresst taught Cygnus to use his hatred, his rage, and his cruelty to fight an opponent. Cygnus was sopping up every thing Tresst was saying like a sponge. Cygnus pushed back every thing he had been taught by the Jedi and used every thing he had been taught by Tresst. When Cygnus turned twenty-seven, Tresst decided to put Cygnus on the path of a Dark Jedi Marauder, and took Cygnus' focus off of Force powers for that of lightsaber combat. Tresst was also constantly drilling into Cygnus' mind that it was the Jedi's fault that Cygnus had killed Kolivara. At first, Cygnus was rather skeptical about this, but eventually he came to accept and believe every lie that came out of Tresst's mouth.
DARK JEDI MARAUDER AND THE MURDER OF TRESST: AGES TWENTY-SEVEN TO PRESENT
Cygnus embraced this new method of training, and began to religiously train with the lightsaber. Cygnus felt that Master Tresst was planning on eliminating him and getting a new apprentice. There was no truth in that, and in fact Tresst was preparing to leave Naboo with Cygnus and aid the Sith in their conquest of the galaxy. This was unknown to Cygnus, and Cygnus decided to strike first. One night, while Master Tresst was sleeping, Cygnus creapt up to him, and killed him. With the murder of Master Tresst, any remorse or greif Cygnus felt was covered by shadow and his lust for power. Where there was once a chance of redemption, there was now hatred and rage. Cygnus bartered passage off of Naboo with the shoto saber, and returned to Serenno. It was on Serenno, that Cygnus found out that the training Tresst had given him on Naboo was to train him to be a Marauder. Cygnus, because of the training he was given, took up the title of Dark Jedi Marauder.
On Serenno, he crafted a new saber, a saber he uses to this day. After spending a few days with his family, he left Serenno aboard a private vessel. Tresst had once told Cygnus that before he (Tresst) had come to Naboo, he had travel the galaxy training under various Dark Jedi. And through Tresst's various masters, Tresst had learned that the Sith were eventually going to move against the Republic and ultimately the Jedi. Cygnus now wants to aid the Sith in their conquest of the Republic, and to destroy what protects the Republic. The Jedi.
Lightsaber: Cygnus carries a single blade, dual-phase lightsaber. His lightsaber is quite intricate in its design, the hilt is covered in delicate runes and inlaid with black markings.

Cygnus sat in the middle of the Tomb of Marka Ragnos on Korriban. He was using the powerful Dark Side energy to calm himself. He had nearly been killed by a trap inside the tomb. The sound of bootsteps broke the silence that filled the tomb. The bootsteps stopped a mere few inches from where Cygnus sat, and a female's voice rang out. "I expected to find you here Cygnus."
Cygnus opened his eyes and smiled. "And I expected to find you here Terriana. Tell me what brings you here? As if I didn't already know. The Jedi Order sent you here to kill me didn't they?" Terriana replied quietly "No they didn't Cygnus. I came on my own accord. It has been fifteen years since you left the Temple. I want you to return to the Jedi...and show them, you need to really show them that you are sorry for what you did."
Cygnus stood up now, and without looking at Terriana replied coldly "Tell them I'm sorry? But I'm not Terriana. Master Kolivara was holding me back. Not allowing me to reach my true potential. But the Dark Side has allowed me to do that." Terriana frowned and said "Then you are truly lost Cygnus." Cygnus now turned to face Terriana.
"I'm lost? No you Jedi are the ones who are lost. Lost from the true power you could achieve. Now you are either with me or against me." Terriana reached for her lightsaber and said "I will not join you Cygnus." Cygnus smiled cruelly and said "Then you have come to kill me" and Cygnus unhooked his lightsaber and held it in his hand.
Terriana ignited her lightsaber and said "I will do what I must." Cygnus ignited his lightsaber as well, and lunged at Terriana. Terriana's yellow blade collided with Cygnus' blood-red blade, and sent sparks every where. Cygnus pushed Terriana into the tomb wall, where she collided with a sickening crunch. Using the Force, Cygnus picked up a chunk of rubble and hurled it on top of the motionless Terriana. Deactivating his lightsaber, Cygnus clipped it back on his belt and walked out of the tomb without looking back once.

Tresst took Cygnus back to his camp, which was in the heart of the forest, with trees on all sides for miles. Tresst's camp was stocked with enough supplies for four years. The numerous durasteel containers that lined the camp stored it all. Cygnus knew not of how so much supplies could be transported without notice. Immediatly, Tresst began to train Cygnus in the ways of the Dark Side. For two years this continued, until Cygnus was strong enough in the Force for Tresst to name him a Dark Jedi Knight. Cygnus was twenty-four years old.
DARK JEDI KNIGHT ON NABOO: AGES TWENTY-FOUR TO TWENTY-SEVEN
With Cygnus' promtion, Tresst pushed him to about his breaking point in training. It was also then that Tresst presented Cygnus with a new saber, a shoto blade that Tresst had taken from a Jedi he killed. Cygnus wasn't to pleased with the new saber, but seeing as he didn't have one before, it would do.
For two more years, Cygnus trained in lightsaber dueling but always lost to his Master Tresst. Tresst taught Cygnus to use his hatred, his rage, and his cruelty to fight an opponent. Cygnus was sopping up every thing Tresst was saying like a sponge. Cygnus pushed back every thing he had been taught by the Jedi and used every thing he had been taught by Tresst. When Cygnus turned twenty-seven, Tresst decided to put Cygnus on the path of a Dark Jedi Marauder, and took Cygnus' focus off of Force powers for that of lightsaber combat. Tresst was also constantly drilling into Cygnus' mind that it was the Jedi's fault that Cygnus had killed Kolivara. At first, Cygnus was rather skeptical about this, but eventually he came to accept and believe every lie that came out of Tresst's mouth.
DARK JEDI MARAUDER AND THE MURDER OF TRESST: AGES TWENTY-SEVEN TO PRESENT
Cygnus embraced this new method of training, and began to religiously train with the lightsaber. Cygnus felt that Master Tresst was planning on eliminating him and getting a new apprentice. There was no truth in that, and in fact Tresst was preparing to leave Naboo with Cygnus and aid the Sith in their conquest of the galaxy. This was unknown to Cygnus, and Cygnus decided to strike first. One night, while Master Tresst was sleeping, Cygnus creapt up to him, and killed him. With the murder of Master Tresst, any remorse or greif Cygnus felt was covered by shadow and his lust for power. Where there was once a chance of redemption, there was now hatred and rage. Cygnus bartered passage off of Naboo with the shoto saber, and returned to Serenno. It was on Serenno, that Cygnus found out that the training Tresst had given him on Naboo was to train him to be a Marauder. Cygnus, because of the training he was given, took up the title of Dark Jedi Marauder.
On Serenno, he crafted a new saber, a saber he uses to this day. After spending a few days with his family, he left Serenno aboard a private vessel. Tresst had once told Cygnus that before he (Tresst) had come to Naboo, he had travel the galaxy training under various Dark Jedi. And through Tresst's various masters, Tresst had learned that the Sith were eventually going to move against the Republic and ultimately the Jedi. Cygnus now wants to aid the Sith in their conquest of the Republic, and to destroy what protects the Republic. The Jedi.
Lightsaber: Cygnus carries a single blade, dual-phase lightsaber. His lightsaber is quite intricate in its design, the hilt is covered in delicate runes and inlaid with black markings.

Cygnus sat in the middle of the Tomb of Marka Ragnos on Korriban. He was using the powerful Dark Side energy to calm himself. He had nearly been killed by a trap inside the tomb. The sound of bootsteps broke the silence that filled the tomb. The bootsteps stopped a mere few inches from where Cygnus sat, and a female's voice rang out. "I expected to find you here Cygnus."
Cygnus opened his eyes and smiled. "And I expected to find you here Terriana. Tell me what brings you here? As if I didn't already know. The Jedi Order sent you here to kill me didn't they?" Terriana replied quietly "No they didn't Cygnus. I came on my own accord. It has been fifteen years since you left the Temple. I want you to return to the Jedi...and show them, you need to really show them that you are sorry for what you did."
Cygnus stood up now, and without looking at Terriana replied coldly "Tell them I'm sorry? But I'm not Terriana. Master Kolivara was holding me back. Not allowing me to reach my true potential. But the Dark Side has allowed me to do that." Terriana frowned and said "Then you are truly lost Cygnus." Cygnus now turned to face Terriana.
"I'm lost? No you Jedi are the ones who are lost. Lost from the true power you could achieve. Now you are either with me or against me." Terriana reached for her lightsaber and said "I will not join you Cygnus." Cygnus smiled cruelly and said "Then you have come to kill me" and Cygnus unhooked his lightsaber and held it in his hand.
Terriana ignited her lightsaber and said "I will do what I must." Cygnus ignited his lightsaber as well, and lunged at Terriana. Terriana's yellow blade collided with Cygnus' blood-red blade, and sent sparks every where. Cygnus pushed Terriana into the tomb wall, where she collided with a sickening crunch. Using the Force, Cygnus picked up a chunk of rubble and hurled it on top of the motionless Terriana. Deactivating his lightsaber, Cygnus clipped it back on his belt and walked out of the tomb without looking back once.
