Bio: Kaltho was born in a wealthy family in Dantooine, near the Jedi Enclave that was established nearby. As a child, he'd always go over there & awgle at the strong Jedi as they trained, enhancing their battle skills & deepening their knowledge of the force. Every day he'd tell his parents that one day he'd become a great Jedi, & rid the galaxy of any wrongs. One day, when Kaltho was away, a Sith had come to his home & slew his parents. Kaltho stumbled upon the scene & stood there, paralyzed with fear as he stared at the evil red blade of the Sith's lightsaber. The Sith merely laughed & left, leaving Kaltho alone. Later on Kaltho would learn that his parents had been hunted down by the Sith because they had knowledge of most, if not all, of the hidden Jedi Enclaves. This Sith happened to find them & tried to use his Mind Bend (forgot what it was called) to make them give him the locations, but they proved too strong for it, so he just killed them. Now an orphan, Kaltho begged the Enclave to take him in, if not to at least provide him shelter. After a month it was decided that Kaltho would be trained in the ways of the Force. This is where his life really began, after the death of his parents, & his hunger for power & vengeance started to settle in. Kaltho had improved rather quickly for a normal apprentice, espescially in his sense of the Force. Kaltho was always popular with the other apprentices & was well-liked by most the upper Jedi, including his master, Kneela. Jedi Master Kneela was a very strong & independent woman, & a fierce combatant. Her combat skills made up insurmountably for her lacking knowledge of the Force. Kaltho was honored to find out that she would be his master on the day that he received the graduation from apprentice to Padawan. One day though, he was training with his master, Jedi Master Kneela. She continued to scold him repeatedly, until out of anger, he attacked her. Kaltho had severely injured Kneela & cast away his lightsaber. Alone for several months he created another lightsaber with a red glow. He believed he was all-powerful until he came face-to-face with his old teacher. Enraged, he lunged at her with everything he had, but the next second he'd found himself on the ground, Kneela's yellow blade pointed straight at his heart. Kneela then spoke to Kaltho urging him to turn away from the dark side of the Force. At first rebellious, Kaltho soon started to listen & sway towards the light side, remembering the many times that Kneela had saved his life on missions. Kaltho then learned that it was actually Kneela's true intentions to not test his abilities as a Jedi, but to test his loyalty & test his repelance (only word, if it is one, that I can think of) to the Dark Side. If Kaltho was truly destined to have become a Sith, then Kneela would've already been dead. After that Kaltho requested that he either be expelled or, in the unlikely event that they showed mercy & allowed him to stay, redo the entire apprenticeship, the Masters at the Enclave agreeing mercifully. Kaltho again pushed through the period of learning & became a Padawan again, still at Kneela's side. After watching some Jedi training, he saw one Jedi practicing the Jar-Kai style & immediately fell for it. He then started constructing his second lightsaber & started to train with the Master at the style, eventually becoming very skilled with the style. He also started studying Juyo & Backhanded styles, the Juyo for when he only had one lightsaber available, & the backhand to be more devastating with dual lightsabers. Eventually he was promoted to Jedi Knight with honors of saving an entire group of soldiers & aiding in the defeat of a highly significant Sith. Kaltho now trains harder, to better himself & to always stay on the path of the Light.
