((OOC: Just a lil note, the crew of the Scarlet Saber has just landed on Nar Shaddaa after a bumpy jump out of Hyperspace.))
Cirith turned to look and see if everyone was alright. The Saber was making soft ticking sounds as the metal cooled from it's entry into the atmosphere. "Is everyone alright?" Cirith got up from the pilots chair and peaked around the corner. A motion caught his eye from outside however, and he turned back to see what it was. Two men were approaching the ship and looking at it appraisingly, Cirith's mind immediatly said trouble, he checked his weapons before hitting the button for the ramp to open, he flicked the helmet comm fequency on and said "Tor, I'm going outside for a minute, we have company, two men, both armed. They might be hired hangar security and they might be looking for trouble, I don't know yet. Report back to me if there are any problems on board, Cirith out". Flicking the audio speakers on with one quick eye movement Cirith said "Can I help you?" as he strode down the forward loading ramp.

Je'Baru steadied him self after the landing. Worried that all of the landings will be like this one Je'Baru made a mental note to acquire some crash webbing before they take off again. Hearing that they have company outside the ship and the chance to prove useful Je'Baru went outside via another exit one near the rear of the ship. He made for the shadows, what few there were, and circled behind the two men. Still in the shadows Je'Baru waited to see how friendly they would be, before he gutted them.

Cirith made his way forward at a calm leisurely pace, as if the sight of two men in grey vests and black clothing with military grade blaster pistols, rifles and vibroswords was nothing to worry about. Cirith swung the SD-15 rifle to rest on his hip instead of it's usual resting place across his back. "If you're not hangar security you might want to move on" he stretched out with the force and felt the men's hunger for violence and money. Pirates[/i] the thought flashed through Cirith's mind as the two men stopped a couple feet away, with smirks stuck on their face. "We like your ship" the man was a little taller than Cirith and had a boxer's build, but the dikut'la arruetti still had the stupid smirk on his unshaven face "I think we'll take it". The other man just laughed and pulled his blaster pistol out of its holster "So, move aside, this is ours now" the man was little compared with the two of them, but apparenly was confident enough with his taller more muscualr friend. "She isn't for sale, now, walk away while you still can chakaaryc" Cirith motioned with the SD-15 for them to turn back the way they came. ((OOC chakaaryc: pronounced chah-KAR-eesh, means rotten, lowlife scum)). At that the one with the boxer's build held up a hand and motioned to someone in the back. "Alright, it looks like we're doing this the hard way" at the motion of the bigger man's hand, five more men dressed the same way, ran from behind their cover of cargo crates. The smaller pirate fired, the bolt sizzling past Cirith's helmet less than an inch away, causing his shields to temporarily flare. "Ok, now I'm mad" Cirith ejected the hidden vbroblade within his red crushgaunt on his right hand and landed a lethal punch on the small man's temple, killing him instantly. The five men running down the walkway opened fire, causing Cirith to duck behind the cover of a mixture of light and heavy crates. The place was ablaze with lazer fire, and Cirith drew his holstered right Westar Blaster pistol. In his pereferal vision he saw Tor exit the ship, and fire on one of the pirates before side stepping out of the way of a blaster bolt. Still behind cover Cirith looked just in time as the boxer built pirate raised his hands and sent a wave of Force energy in Tor's direction. Tor'ika can handle him he's a verd, a warrior [/i] despite all apperances Cirith actually had quite a bit of confidence in his crew, atleast when it came to defending themselves. Cirith's mind backflashed to a week after Sunnshine's abduction, when he'd sparred with Tor and found that he had a tougher time using his Force abilities on the giddy Mando, than on others. Cirith returned to the present and jumped out from his cover, his suits shields taking a few bolts and draining to half their strength. He hit the ground and rolled upright and sent a wave of force energy into the five in the form of a medial sized Force Push. The force push flattened thee of the men in the center of the group and pushed the two on the outside back a couple feet. Cirith used the opening he'd created and shot the man that was still standing on the right, in the chest with his drawn Westar. The man on the left took a charged blaster bolt in the stomach from Cirith's SD-15, and was lifted clear and thrown against the railing, where he toppled over and down out of sight. The three in the center were surprised, to say the least and still recovering from Cirith's push and just starting to get up. The three pirates fired at Cirith causing him to roll away again behind cover before standing completely. Then blades were drawn, Cirith wasn't sure who had drawn them, he slung the SD-15 over his shoulder and across his back, to draw one of his own vibroswords. Cirith sensed Je'Baru was out of the ship and somewhere on the landing pad, but wasn't sure where he was exactly. Standing slowly Cirith prepared himself for a vibro duel.

Katar couldn't help the sharp-toothed half-grin stuck on his face. He was now even more fascinated with the similarities he had discovered between himself and his Mandalorian comrades. He was looking forward to sparring with Sunshine again, and he hoped it would be soon - that is, if they survived another one of Cirith's landings. It's a good thing the cargo bays have plenty of crash-webbing, or that would've been painful.[/i]
The assassin had just finished his highly ritualized proceedure of re-equipping his gear when he heard Cirith over the team's general comm signal. He detected a bit of annoyance in the human's voice that suggested to the Shistavanen that it wasn't anything a lone Mando couldn't handle. Apparently though, Tor felt differently. Barely a minute after the Wolfman heard the Saber's forward ramp lower, Katar heard the Zeltron's light footsteps follow suit, his pheromones exuding the scent of alarm.
Stepping out into the corridor, Katar caught Sunshine's attention. She had just finished suiting up and was now adjusting the sling that held her prized bowcaster. "Something's up." he said.
But judging by the corners of her mouth and the slightly distant look in her dark blue eyes, she was already well aware of that.

Sunshine had been tending to her various scrapes, scratches, and bruises from her "training" session with Katar when the ship "landed". She made a promise to herself to get back at Cirith in some way for the rough ride, picked herself up off the floor and finished putting the kolto wrap on her arm where one of Katar's fangs grazed her.
As she finished tending the 3 inch long gash on her upper arm, she half-smiled at the memory of the look on Katar's face when she had pulled a surprise move that had ended up with her on the recieving end of the man's 6 inch fangs. As she was reaching for a long sleeved shirt to cover her wound, she sensed Tor'ika's rising level of tension as he passed within feet of her. She quickly scrambled into the rest of her armour and peeked out into the hallway.
She saw that the Shistavanen was already there- He made some comment about something not being right.
"Brillant conclusion, Fluffy! Did your "doggie senses" clue you in there?" She saw the semi-angry, startled, and confused, look that flashed across his glowing red eyes but she didnt have time to worry about his stupid feelings. With the second sense that comes from familarity, she could tell that Tor was going to his battle mode. And she wanted to be there when anything started happening-She'd been coop-ed up too long on this bucket of rust. She had started down the ramp behind Tor when he had flashed their old "hold" sign to her before joining Cirith outside.
"Osiik!" she shouted into her helm as she halted abruptly. She could see Tor had heard her from the slight twitch of his helmet. Unbidden and unwanted, unaccounted tears welled up in her eyes. She held back for a split second before a realization struck her and she bolted for the bridge...

Tor'ika giggled as he tried to untangle himself from the crashwebbing that lined the back wall of the cargo bay. This was no easy task; he was in full armor, suspended about a foot and a half above the floor, and upside down. Finally, after Tor was able to free his torso, he landed on the floor in a heap, a heavy thud sounding off of the Blockade Runner's durasteel interior. Still laughing, and now grunting intermittently, the Zeltron squirmed, kicked, and rolled to free his legs. But after about a minute of this, Tor decided upon a different course of action.
A minute later, Tor'ika stood proudly with his hands on his hips and a grin on his face.
Now why didn't I think of that to start with?[/i] he thought as he readjusted the elastic band of his shorts before hoisting his desert-camo pants and attached armor plates off the floor and pulling them back on.
Back in his personal quarters, Tor'ika had just finished strapping on his weapons and checking his helmet's systems when the thought of teasing Cirith about his piloting skills came to him; because really, could he afford to let such an opportunity go to waste? A split second before he opened a channel to do so however, Cirith's voice came across on general comms, alerting Tor that there were two armed men snooping around the Saber. Tor didn't like the sound of that, and he could tell that something about it was bothering Cir'ika too, which meant that their fearless leader actually considered them to be a threat. Pulling his EE-3 blaster carbine around to his front, the Mando headed towards the ramp that Cirith had exited barely a minute before, and switched his comms channel so that he could hear what was going on outside by linking up with his team-mate's HUD. What he heard was unmistakeable. It was the sound of a blaster discharge, and it had to have passed very close by, because it sounded close enough to send a spike of adrenaline running through Tor's spine, and if he hadn't been so focused, he might've sworn someone had just shot at him.
Tor advanced down the ramp, already lining up a shot through the scope of his rifle. He processed the scene in seconds. You have to when someone's trying to pressure cook you in your own armor, courtesy of a few complimentary blaster bolts. One of the men Cirith had spotted was now dead, laying in a pool of his own blood. And there wasn't just two of them; Tor sighted five more of them advancing, and they were all dressed alike. That meant they were organized, probably some kind of high-priced mercenaries, or pirates. The glare from the incoming barrage forced Tor's visor to polarize, and even then he was seeing spots for a few seconds afterwards.
That's gotta be military-grade weaponry they're using. But they're not moving like soldiers, these guys're marauders, pirates. No wonder Cir'ika didn't like the looks of 'em.[/i]
Rolling a holodisc behind the crates off to the left, the Zeltron strafed to the right, allowing another two bolts to dart by as he silenced one of the pirates' military-grade carbines with his EE-3 and simultaneously activated one of the holodisc's routines. A second later two more fully armored Mandos sprang up from behind the crates and added their own lasers to the firefight.

At last they were unfriendly. Je'Baru was even more pleased that more of them joined in the party. I'm going to sleep well tonight.
Using his khabak grappling system, he snagged one of the men in the back row in the back and dragged him to him for the first kill. He stood and ran past him. As he did, he used his shield to split the man down the middle, head to tail. Not stopping he dive rolled into the middle of the three. Je'Baru grabbed his Norysh. A second later he charged the middle human. Firing his shield grappler past the far left human he used the extra line to whip a loop around the man neck. The grappling system was on target and the loop held true. Ready for the kill, Je'Baru braced him self and activated the retrieve portion of his shield.
The following action was that the head of the left most human came off almost at once and the horror of the human that was in the middle was that of unbelieving terror. Je'Baru then slowly stalked his preym, savoring the terrible but silent shrieking of this human. Pray while you still can meat. Your blood is mine!

Katar sniffed. Fluffy?[/i] He wasn't sure what Sun'ika had just called him, but by the way she had said it, it couldn't be anything good. Isn't that more of a feline-ish word?[/i] He'd figure it out later, there were more pressing matters at hand. Just then, his Nagai comrade bolted for the cockpit, leaving him in the dust. She had seemed rather upset about something. Another frown: Women the Wolfman thought.
When he reached the cockpit, he found Sun'ika pouring over the controls. And then the sound of blaster-fire met his ears. Katar tried to comm Tor, but there was no response. A bright flash lit up the cockpit, and the smell of heated metal became ever more pungent. Now he knew what Sun'ika was looking for. "Good idea..." Katar said, moving past her to the foremost controls near the co-pilot's seat.

Cirith ducked instinctively and was glad he did, as a vibrosword whizzed past his helmet inches away. Cirith's right leg shot out behind him and caught someone in the ankle, toppling them onto the pavement, as Cirith turned his eyes focused on a Twi'lek with a drawn vibrosword. A second later the sound of the Saber powering up reached Cirith's ears. Cirith looked towards the ship and saw the air ripple and the shields extend protecting the ship from harm.
Turning back to his attacker Cirith found the Twi'lek recovering from his fall. The Twi'lek grinned and stood "I never thought I'd get the chance to fight a Mandalorian, especially one that's as creative as you. This will be fun." The Twi'lek took a wide stance and brought his vibrosword up, Cirith brought his own into his Djem So style. The Twi'lek Pirate simply grinned as he thrust at Cirith's jaw, Cirith though was not fooled so easily and simply batted his opponents sword away and to the left with the tip of his own, opening wide his opponent's defense. Cirith thought that the fight would end right there as he thrust at the Twi'lek's exposed neck. The Twi'lek side stepped to the left and ducked Cirith's attack, and then met his sword with Cirith's. The Twi'lek spun into a slash that would've cut Cirith from his left shoulder to his right leg but, Cirith blocked the attack at it's apex and closed the distance between them with a step, forcing his opponents sword away from him and rendering it useless. Then Cirith slammed his armored elbow into the Twi'lek's nose breaking the bone, the Twi'lek stumbled away holding his nose and crying in pain but, his pain was short lived. Before the unfortunate Twi'lek could regain his compsure Cirith sent his sword through the pirates back and into his heart. Pulling his sword free Cirith let the body of the dead Twi'lek drop to the pavement.
"Well, that was amusing, maybe now we can carry on with collecting our Bounties" Cirith crouched and wiped the blood off on the Twi'lek's shirt, before rummaging through his clothes to find anything useful the dead pirate might've owned. Pocketing fifty credits, Cirith stood after taking the Twi'lek's vibrosword and scrolled through the tagged bounties and opened his helmet comm to the team.
"Ok, first stop, the Laughing Mynock cantina, there's a Blue Rodian there that's caused the owner, a Hutt by the name of Zaaks, alot of trouble and repair bills. Apparently this Rodian favors his Arena and the Hutt doesn't want him alive. Other bounties include a Bothan hacker, a female Human Pirate, a male Human theif, a Gran that makes lousy drugs & a request to help a band find the person reponsible that's messing with their equipment. I just got that one now in fact." Cirith looked up at the carnage on the landing deck and then to Je'Baru and Tor'ika "Let's move" Cirith had caught the action between Tor and the force weilding pirate, and the scene ran through his head over and over. Cirith turned towards the entrance that led into the city and started walking. Briefly deciding to check on Sunnshine Cirith switched to her comm frequency "Sunnshine, are you going to join us outside one of these days? I assume you're uninjured since you've been in the ship, oh, and thanks for pulling up the Saber's shields."

Je'Baru was not sure about what he would do. Scanning the arena for rodians Je'Baru found many, but not the one he was looking for. His Ai stated that there was others down in the lower areas of the arena. He arrives at the lower doors only to be stopped by a couple of guards. They menacly growled at Je'Baru and he just snorted back. Just as Je'Baru had decided to disembowel them a greasy looking Twi'lek male walks over to him and asks Je'Baru if he would like to sign up for a few rounds. Je'Baru asked if there were death matches. With out blinking, the twi'lek answered yes. This peaked Je'Baru's interest for his blood lust was not quite quenched.
Going thru the lower levels was like going thru a blood thirsty mad house with no one watching the patients. Cries of sadness and screams of horror echo down the darkened claustrophobic halls that went in countless directions. Je'Baru had his AI unit record the paths. The greasy Twi'lek held out his hand and said that the cell that he was pointing at was Je'Baru's between matches. Nervously Je'Baru entered and the bared door slammed behind him. Turning on his heal Je'Baru went for the cell door and found it locked.
What did you think you were just joining to fight for just a few rounds your here till you die.
The greasy Twi'lek turned and laughed all the way back to the entrance. Je'Baru then vowed to gut that piece of meat when he got out. Turning to look over the cell he was in, quickly finding that some one had tried to pry the bars near the rear of the cell. This corner was very dark. So dark that it hid the dried remain of the escape. Wedged half way the skeletal remains of an over-sized alien race rested. Je'Baru removed them and found the gap large enough for his escape. But the route just led to another cell one that held a waft of a twi'lek. The female twi'lek was near deaths door. No doubts this one had been overlooked or meant to die a slow death. Je'Baru was going to talk to her but was interrupted by guards coming for him. Je'Baru turned and hid in the shadow. The two guards, a weequay and a bothan, were obviously slow witted for they just walked in with just two stun sticks and no lamp to see the noghri stalking them from the shadows.
A horrid shreak and the liquid sound of blood being sprayed caught the attention of three other guards, two gamorrean and a bith. Tho they were aware of the situation they to being slow on the up-take charged the cell. One of the gamorrean came in roaring only to have a stun stick shoved down his throat. The other hesitated and wait for the cell door. Grabbing it just as Je'Baru used the other stun stick on the cell bars at full power. The power shock of the stun stick was enough to throw the gamorrean guard backward to smash the bith against the opposite cell. The gamorrean died when his heart exploded and the bith by being crushed. Je'Baru stepped out and look to see if he could make a run for it only to have another gamorrean guard that was on the second tier catch him with a neck harness. A second gamorrean did the same along with a duros and another weequay who was able to catch his hands. Dragging him away to the arena Je'Baru hoped that his pack did not see him in this manner.
At the arena many that gambled heard about the new acquisition and the mess that it made and this made the bets go wild.

Je'Baru kept his strength restrained just on the off chance that the fight would be one sided. He did not make it easy for his captors. The four guards worked for their pay that day. As he was dragged into the arena, the crowd went wild on seeing the opponent of the first match champion. Je'Baru looked to see who his opponent was it was a very large alien with large tusks and a heavy furred coat, a whiphid. Je'Baru saw that the greasy twi'lek had matched him up so that he would die. But Je'baru saw the many areas to attack for the quick kill. A thought occurred to him he wondered if the alien was tricked the same manner. A the bell sounded, Je'Baru asked the alien in subtle basic if he wanted to die or escape. The response was one that he had seen before, of a creature who has gone Ferrel. Knowing that talking was pointless he took it upon him self to put it down. The beast swung wide and slow for Je'Baru. Ducking Je'Baru swiped at the exposed inner arm and the major vein. Slicing it open and moved on to roll around behind and slashing a inner thigh vein of the right leg and cutting the Achilles tendon of the left leg. The beast was slowed and bleeding still coming for another attack. Je'Baru was sadden at this battle. This is not a battle this is a pointless killing. I'm sorry meat I'll make this quick.Leaping past the whiphid, he turned and sprang up on to it's back and grabbed it's neck. Using his claws Je'Baru slashed both of the main arteries. Blood sprayed and the crowd went wild. When the beast fell Je'Baru was still on it's back. He stood and tossed his head back and roared a noghri curse. All that heard it thought he had just roared. Je'Baru turned and went back allowing the guard to bind him again. (OCC: since our threead has all but stopped Je'Baru is being transfured to - ANew Hope?- Thread maybe we can start up again later. )

((OOC: Ok, Sunnshine and Tor, we seriously need to move this thread along. So, I'm going to post but, me and Foxfire can't carry this thread all on our own, so catch up when you can....please))
Cirith walked towards the Laughing Mynock Canitna, the little excercise at the landing pad had been fun but, it had ended too quickly. The others were in tow Cirith was sure. He could feel the boredom in his team members but, didn't know exactly what to do about it. Tor's family had moved to Dxun when he was young, about when he was 10 years old or so, and it was his sister Arwyn that'd met them first and welcomed them by helping them set up a place.
Cirith stopped abruptly almost making Tor run into him. "Tor, what did your family do before moving to Dxun? You guys lived on Concord Dawn right? Why move to a backwater planet like Dxun?". Cirith resumed his walk towards the Laughing Mynock but, made sure to walk beside Tor and Sunnshine instead of ahead of them. It hadn't occurred to him that his fellow crew members might have something on their minds. Cirith knew he didn't have alot of tact but, he wanted to make sure they knew that he was there for them like they had been for him. I guess relationships are another kind of battle. Unfortunately they're not ones I'm good at winning. Cirith was reminded of a bitter memory, the look on Arwyn's face when he'd left with Tor, Sunnshine, Katar and Je'Baru and the argument they'd had. His mother had even begged him to stay and work things out with her. Regretting that decision already, Cirith looked to Tor so he could show his friend he was interested in his reply.
