Ryver-Former unit 171 of Cappa Squad
The Change
Unit 171 was chosen out of it's group to under go a AI system reconfiguring. The program being installed was called 'Ryver', an AI program meant for long term operation with deadly efficiently as its goal.
Upon testing of unit 171, the programmers found a critical error. Unit 171 would sacrifice it's self and anything around to accomplish it's mission. On further checking, unit 171 had trouble with even the simplest task. The programming for deadly efficiently was over riding any other order it was given. So if it did not kill or destroy some thing than it saw the task as undone or even useless and would not follow orders
Ryver Meet Taym
On finding this programming flaw, unit 171 now known as Ryver, was sent by the programmers to maintenance to be scrubbed or destroyed. Mick Zyler a 3rd year droid deprogrammer tried to manually activate Ryver but failed. Then he used Taym, his tech bot that his uncle had sent to him. Taym's programming included, programming-deprogramming, system hacking, robotics engineering, and alteration.
Mick was under orders to scrub the AI Program and get it back on the line. If he wasn't able to then he and his bot was going to be scrubbed together. Not wanting to die he ordered Taym, also programmed for self preservation, to scrub Ryver at all costs. Taym did as he was told. He interfaced with Ryver, noticing the flaw in her programming and concluded that if Ryver's program had the addition of his own program that maybe Ryver would be workable and be sent back to the line so that him and Mick could go back to regular work. When Mick finalized the connections Taym reported that Ryver was not off line. Ryver did not see the point in being on-line only not to kill or destroy. Also the fact that the programmers said that she was stupid made her not want to respond to orders.
As she was venting Taym quickly and silently hacked into her systems and copied his whole program into one of the many aux. processor hard drives. Taym was just putting the final seal codes on his copied program when Ryver caught him and cut the up-link connections. This was not good because now with out the seal codes Taym's copy program could activate at any time resulting in a duel AI program which was neither correct procedures or healthy for any droid. Many duel AI's never lasted for long. Either AI would stop functioning or go terminal on multi-able areas of a droids system.
Not under standing the seriousness of the situation, Ryver did the only thing that she knew what to do. It was to terminate all in the area, human or droid. Activating her systems, she reached out and plunged her hand into Taym then activated both arm blasters. First she slagged the processor core of Taym. At near the same time she took aim at Mick and shot him twice, once in the head and then once in the chest. Ryver was admiring her work when her escape protocols kicked in by them selves. Now with the need for self preservation in her systems she decided to run. Ryver's old programming allowed her to be good at attack not good at retreat. She noticed that part of her protocols was corrupted. This part was for 'assassination escape protocols', (AEP for short). When she attempted to activate the retrieval program for the (AEP) her system automatically shut down. The next time her program was on-line she was laying on a convador belt heading for the scrapping facility.

Ryver noticed with concern what this place was. When she was unit 171 she had sent many a droid and human to their death in a place like this. She quickly checked her systems and noticed that the corruption had spread to other systems. These systems are one's that did not involve or imped her main program. She also noticed other odd programs not in her original formating. Unable to access these disturbed her for only a few seconds.
Just then her audio sensors picked up voices near by. With out her activating the servos, she rolled off the convader belt. Crawling for hiding was not in her programming and not by her command. In her internal processor core she was questioning how she was able to move with out engaging these systems.
Immediately a shushing shrill went throughout her core and a second internal voice told her to be quiet and stop using up so much space for trivial questions. Shocked and bewilderment was running wild in Ryver's core. Again the screech brought her up short. The second voice brought up the possible threat detection program and she under stood the reason for her silent attention.
At the crushing area two humans were talking to two other TS/CAD-MK I. This was a problem for her to be seen. A whole unit would be brought down to scrap her malfunctioning can. She again noticed her hands and arms moving on their own. She watched as this other voice, now recognized as Taym, built a rolling droid. Ryver asked the reason for building such a useless droid at a time like this. Taym responded by just saying, 'watch'. Up loading a copy of one of those locked programs, Taym snickered. Taym brought the roller droid on-line by remote. The roller clanked and wobbled over to the group of humans and droids. Once there none paid any attention to this very common droid. Slowly and quietly it rolled slowly rolled between the two TS's. Once there it linked it's system with the TS's and engaged it's sub-program. Immediately the TS's grabbed their human partners by the throat and threw them into the crusher. A moment later the TS's AI core started to smoke and then melted into slag.
Taym moved them out from hiding and said the most profound thing Ryver has ever heard, "See. Recycle don't destroy." Ryver agreed, if that is recycling she might do that more. Taym moved them over to the TS's and dismantled them. One of their heads he copied fragments of Ryver's program on to the sub-boards. Taym then asked Ryver to toss this head into the crusher for evidence trace. She asked, "Why not recycle it?" Taym said, "They will need a record of destruction so that none will follow them." After tossing the copied head into the crusher, Ryver watched as Taym gathered what was left of the two TS's and stowed it into a shipping crate that was bound for Nar Shaddaa. Taym noticed Ryver's wonderment and said, "Parts...we will need future parts till we have a station. K?" To Ryver, Taym's program continually seem to amaze her. She would have just left and never thought about breaking down.
1+1=ONE
On the trip to Nar Shaddaa, Taym decided to make a major upgrade. The processor core was to small for both AI programs. Taym installed a second gen crystal jewel jell Hdrive with a quad linked processor. This allowed for Taym to work and think faster. Also for an Emergency updated back up of both Ryver and himself. The CJ2-HD was the same one that he had in his previous body. The trip seemed to be going well. As the ship readied for another jump, it was attacked by Republic ships. So as to confuse the Republic ships Ryver-Taym's ship dumped their cargo which Ryver-Taym was a part of. This allowed for the smugglers ship to jump faster. The Republic ships collected the cargo and headed out for Corusant. On arriving, Ryver-Taym quietly left the ship during the night landing. Taking the extra parts and headed for the bottom layers for what Taym called, "A fortress of solitude." Finally finding the perfect lair Ryver-Taym spent the next 6 months building and improving their skills. During this time Ryver complained about her slowness and no shielding even Taym saw that their strength was lacking. So he searched through his data banks and that of the local intel-data banks. He found designs on micro repulser system. He also found after hacking the intel-data banks reverse engineering on Mando's crush gauntlets. Building the repulser system and installing Taym went on to rebuild the arms from the structural designs of the crush gauntlets. On testing the systems they found out that there would be a major power drain on the systems. So again Taym went into his data banks looking for power enhancing system and found perpetual micro pulse generator designs. He built this as well and on installing, found it better than the designs had predicted. They continued to train with their new systems and waiting for the right time to go on-line on the surface.

Taym's Bio
Taym has been on-line for ten years. The first two years he was just a basic deconstruction and recycling unit with just simple programming and hardware. The next five years he was a helper to his present programming designer Max-Li Taym. Max-Li was a very brilliant droid engineer tho having to suffer with MPD (multi-able personality disorder). Thankfully for Taym, Max and Li worked well with each other. They loved tweaking and reprogramming Taym till he was very efficient at the job set that they wanted, Robotic engineer. They invented the CJ2-HD (crystal jewel jell Hard Drive with Quad linked Second-Gen Processors). Then uploaded all of their work and notes into his data bank which took 4 of the 5 years, and then tweak his program so that he could design his own robotic systems. An unforeseen event happened to both Max-Li and Taym. The sith military found out that Li was a Republic spy and sent the assassination squad unit Cappa to eliminate Li and any other co-conspirators. Max found out about the hit and sent Taym to his nephew, Mick Zyler, so that Taym would not be destroyed. So thus Taym worked for the next 3 years with Mick until Ryver terminated the working contract.

Going over the sensor data, both Ryver and Taym was considering the shortest routes for entering and escaping. Taym loved using ball droids whether they rolled or hovered. Ryver thought they had enough info after one week of using the ball droid. Taym tho continued on for a month, until he had a massive amount of data. This mission was for their own goals not for money nor for revenge. They weren't wanting to harm anyone during the mission. Ryver was starting to have a taste for info gathering. She was still not totally happy with the 'not killing' part, but Taym challenged her to see if she was smart enough to do the mission with out killing.
On the night of the mission Ryver-Taym were both nervous. Taym for succeeding and Ryver for not killing anyone before it over. Staying in the shadows they walked to the droid service entrance . Taym quickly engaged the micro repulsers on the feet to silence the heavy sounding foot falls. As they walked through the grand hall ways Taym was awed by the design of the place this could not be seen from the information gathered by his ball droid. Upon entering the holocron library Ryver had to slow to an ant crawl due to a Jedi looking over some information for a mission. Taym was very thankful that the port area was well away from the Jedi.
Taym engaged his physical port connector, so that he could get the fastest down load speed. Ryver continued to scan the room for movement toward them. Humming to him self, Taym found the needed areas and quickly hacked in. He did a reverse hack. He found the trash folders and back hacked threw the retrieval program. Loading the maps took the most time. The Sarlacc program had to be loaded to the permanit area of the trash file program so that it could not be seen or removed until the proper time. Taym was pleased with this program. Taking the garbage bundling it and sending it to a remote hard drive for later pick up was masterful work.
Taym OKed the first part of the mission a success. Now all that was left was to exit with out being seen. The Jedi had left a while ago so it was safe to leave the room. Taym used the ball droid to travel on the same path they came in on to see if it would be OK. As all best plans it was not. The ball droid was spotted by a young ling and quick was set out upon. With stun sword in hand he chased the droid to various room of the Jedi temple. Ryver decided it was time to move. Taym did not know the best way to go. Ryver told him, When in doubt go out the front door. This is what they did. Cloaked and silent as death its self they moved through the now growing group of beings to help hunt the run away droid. On exiting the Jedi temple Taym gave the ball droid on last order and that was to find a garbage shoot and head down to the lower levels to wait out the hunt. Ryver was of the same mind as soon as the first deep shadows was available Ryver headed down as well. Three hours later did they make for their lair on the way picking up Taym's ball droid.

Ryver thought they had enough info after one week of using the ball droid. Taym tho continued on for a month, until he had a massive amount of data. This mission was for their own goals not for money nor for revenge. They weren't wanting to harm anyone during the mission. Ryver was starting to have a taste for info gathering. She was still not totally happy with the 'not killing' part, but Taym challenged her to see if she was smart enough to do the mission with out killing.
On the night of the mission Ryver-Taym were both nervous. Taym for succeeding and Ryver for not killing anyone before it over. Staying in the shadows they walked to the droid service entrance . Taym quickly engaged the micro repulsers on the feet to silence the heavy sounding foot falls. As they walked through the grand hall ways Taym was awed by the design of the place this could not be seen from the information gathered by his ball droid. Upon entering the holocron library Ryver had to slow to an ant crawl due to a Jedi looking over some information for a mission. Taym was very thankful that the port area was well away from the Jedi.
Taym engaged his physical port connector, so that he could get the fastest down load speed. Ryver continued to scan the room for movement toward them. Humming to him self, Taym found the needed areas and quickly hacked in. He did a reverse hack. He found the trash folders and back hacked threw the retrieval program. Loading the maps took the most time. The Sarlacc program had to be loaded to the permanit area of the trash file program so that it could not be seen or removed until the proper time. Taym was pleased with this program. Taking the garbage bundling it and sending it to a remote hard drive for later pick up was masterful work.
Taym OKed the first part of the mission a success. Now all that was left was to exit with out being seen. The Jedi had left a while ago so it was safe to leave the room. Taym used the ball droid to travel on the same path they came in on to see if it would be OK. As all best plans it was not. The ball droid was spotted by a young ling and quick was set out upon. With stun sword in hand he chased the droid to various room of the Jedi temple. Ryver decided it was time to move. Taym did not know the best way to go. Ryver told him, When in doubt go out the front door. This is what they did. Cloaked and silent as death its self they moved through the now growing group of beings to help hunt the run away droid. On exiting the Jedi temple Taym gave the ball droid on last order and that was to find a garbage shoot and head down to the lower levels to wait out the hunt. Ryver was of the same mind as soon as the first deep shadows was available Ryver headed down as well. Three hours later did they make for their lair on the way picking up Taym's ball droid.
