ooc// Hoorah! Let's get goin'. ;D FYI, the image above didn't display properly. D: //
Grizzelda stepped through the cave, greeting by a wet slick as her boot touched down upon the damp floor. With her senses she spread her awareness, paying close attention to the slightest sound... water plicked nearby, dropping from the many crystals. Grizzelda's eyes narrowed as she peered about... the Crystals caught the light, through shadows and highlights... Suddenly, she saw what looked like a human silhouette. Grizzelda's hand crept to the blaster holstered on her thigh... her left moved similarly, but instead to the bandoleer which strung across her body. She fingered a smoke detonator, slowly rounding the corner... There was nothing, simply-- Grizzelda suddenly froze. There was something wet, something slimy, and it was on her foot. Slowly, she looked down... Grizzelda immediately relaxed, and even chuckled as she spied the young Gizka which was now sitting on her foot. Shoo, get along little one... She dared not speak aloud, yet the Gizka looked up at her and cooed quietly. It was still for a moment... and then it slowly hopped away. Grizzelda stepped back and continued around the cave. She dared make no noise save for her breathing and the steady slick of her steps, which she timed to hopefully blend with the plinking of the water droplets... However, she had a feeling her footsteps were too distinct, and she loathed that fact, but there was little she could do about it. Grizzelda kept her fingertips on her blaster, slowly moving deeper into the cave, away from that small, life-beacon of light. Where is it? For she was looking for something... something of value... yet she herself did not even know what it was. You'll know it when you see it? Ugh, that is the last time I take a mission like this... For all I know, he could have been speaking of one of the crystals... Though, no, he said something about it being manufactured... a droid, I'll bet, or a bit of machinery... He had better pay well. Very, very well...
