Well, the pirates are about to get a pretty big lightsaber shoved right up their arse. =/ I'm not against a meeting after the fact, however, so long as we are quick about it. I do realize that you had a plan, and I apologize for ruining it... but I am pressed on time. I could have less than a month left before I go off to cali, or I may have six. Kind of want to get some things done before I'm cut off from the intarwebz for three to six months.

So yeah... lets just do a meeting afterwards. Ryn will be kind of... off... so yeah.

It doesn't bother me whether we do a third thread or Sam joins us in the one we have going. I can't promise anything about time, though. But I don't see a need for Ryn to join in the little Sam/Ean reunion, so you shouldn't have to post if you didn't want to.

Meh, I suppose its your characters. However, if Sam and Ean have a little reunion while she is under the servitude of the pirates... expect things to be bloody. Very bloody. Well, blood will be absent, seeing as the use of a lightsaber will be prevalent throughout the ordeal... but yeah. In all honesty I suppose it doesn't matter to me, either, so I'll just bow out and let the big girls talk. xD

Okey dokey, before Ean finds Sam/runs into Sam/whatever, they're headed to the Star at the spaceport. Anything specific I should know before he arrives there? Besides the fact that no one is inside.

uh...yeah...they're not going to the Star >.> and it's about as far away from where they are as possible at the moment...though...I suppose if you pass the palace at any time you can meet them near the front gates xD

Oh, right now Ean's just following the beacon he put on it.
I'm just wondering if there was anything I should know before posting that Ean doesn't find them there.
Once he finds it empty, he'll be wandering around and stuff. Looking for clues, anything that might tell him where they went. But right now he's following the homing device to get to the Star.

And so... I'm wondering if it would be easier for Sam and co. to come into our thread later? I mean, when Ean actually gets that far, looking for her.

Okay, so I was thinking, for a way to get Ean and Felze to the palace (not somewhere he would think to look) that he might have Felze slice into flight records, and then figure out there's a ship that is trying to leave from the palace's private landing pad.

So maybe a couple more posts and then I could get Ean and Felze to the palace?

So... you're going to try and have your folks slice into a monarch's flight records? xD They aren't exactly on public property atm. I'd suggest that, since they are so ossim at slicing, they follow the news of an explosion and find out that the owners owned a star port. Then just go on a hunch there and run into 'em. (slicing into police records, of course).

I would like to ask, tho... how did they get the tracking device on Ryn's ship? xD and how are they going to know that its empty? Ryn, Sam, and Vesta are the only ones that know the codes to get into the ship... and I'm fairly sure that the shipwrights wouldn't build them so that anyone with half a brain in the slicing field could sneak in. =/ Know what I'm sayin'?

(edit: hope you're not butt hurt or nothing... but once this is all done (and if Ryn ever comes back to his ship) I'm probably going to power play to get the tracking device off. Dun laik no-one knowing where he is >.<)

I can't speak for Sparrow's slicer's skills.

I don't remember exactly; it's probably in one of my posts in Geese and Gundarks. I think Ean had one of his buddy's place the device before Sam and Ryn got to it. It's been mentioned before, more than once.
As for knowing if anyone's inside, he'll probably just knock.

Tracking device... well, Ean might remove it himself, if he knows for sure that he's found Sam. Or remotely deactivate it. I dunno.
Plus I doubt Ryn would find it. I mean, if he didn't find it by now, it's unlikely he would find it later.

Yes, Felze happens to be an "ossim" slicer. I'm going to need some practice writing him being ossim at slicing though. So yeah,... police records, security tapes, docking logs,... if Ean can get him to the right terminal, Felze can get those.

Wouldn't the tracker be on the outside?

i dont see how a ship leaving the royal's docking pad would mean anything to them though...could be just about anyone...and even if they were like "O.o pirates?" that doesn't mean it would be a matter of "pirate ship leaving = sam is around!" I mean what sense does that make?

If anything take my suggestion from earlier, it really does make the most sense: finding no one on the star, they should try to find whatever logs/contacts there might be for Sam on the planet or find that her ship is on record at her friend's dealership....logically...if they're not at the Star, and HER ship is on the planet...wouldn't they be going for her ship?

So perhaps a combination of ship logs/contact lists, security footage showing them in various places around the port, and docking/departure logs? That should paint a pretty clear picture for Ean.

In other news, haha, it'll soon be back to the real hunt for Aunna. I'm just waiting to finish things up on on Corellia with WWFF and sparrow.

Ryn's been deactivated, so I would suggest you guys catch up to Sam somewhere else and we just scratch the zeltros thing.

She's going to be two places:

1) Tatooine (be careful though, she's gonna have several people/NPCs in tow)

2) Kuat (she's going to be working for PF now so until things get settled with Aun/Vex she'll be around there. Mind you, Vex is away with work/training so he hasn't been around lately and we're super behind in that arena, though Reg and I are getting it moving again...albeit slowly.)

And I've been mentioning in subsequent threads that Ean settled things with Sam.
But I suppose I can edit all of those so everything makes sense later.
I dunno when Ean would go after her again though... with all the Corellian drama, others are eager to get after the bounty. But I can pick my brain.


As for the Aunna part... Ean and gang still will be behind on the trail anyway, at least for another thread or two, perhaps, so that's still okay.

yeah so do I, but I can't just have her wake up suddenly and since I don't know what you have in mind I've been playing it that things didn't exactly happen. I can't if I don't know what's going on. Also, Sam will be back to Corellia and that would be when Aun gets nabbed the second time around, for good.

Aun will have to go back to Kuat for that and we need to connect again on just how long Aun will be in the care of Ean and crew since she now has a rather well programmed little REA with a possible temper and very clear protective streak.

.....and a lot of very dangerous ammo.....

So I'm thinking that they may not get her off of Onderon, and if they do, I need to have a way to get her back to it or Dxun.
