Bio:
Before-YounglingTwilight, on Anaxes, Lily Vissa gave birth to Jennifer Crisalis Vissa. She did not know then or ever did until she became part of the force, that her daughter would be a Jedi Master. As she cradled Baby Jennifer in her arms she had a look of happiness in her eyes. She soon fell asleep and the droid caring for took her to be monitored and made sure to be alright. Her mother would later known that the father that had left her would be one human that was force-sensitive, but he was no Jedi. In fact there has been speculation if he was one who fell to the dark side.
Jennifer grew up in the capital city of her planet. She had her maroon hair start to grow in at her age of two years. She was quite playful with her spirit, she was always moving around in the house. She was well taken care of. Never a care in her mind right now, to her, everything was interesting. She was quiet a curious little one.
On the day she turned three is when she exhibited force powers. When she was by her toys she lifted her arms up and the toys started floating in the air. She moved around them, laughing, it was when her mother walked in. She saw the toys floating, she gasped. Her daughter could manipulate objects. There was no question in the matter that she had to do what she did. She contacted the Jedi order. She knew that this was the best choice, even if she would have to let her go. They dispatched a knight quickly to find her. She was administered the blood test, her medi-chlorian count was very high. It was as high as some of the counts of the masters. The Jedi could sense that she had a future among the order. She was quickly taken to be among the order. She would being her training with other younglings when she reached an appropriate age.
Youngling / PadawanAs a youngling she focused hard on the force, she earlier then others grasped the fact of light and dark, and the differences between them. She also at this early age showed no better then in the force as she was in lightsaber combat. She kept herself focused on what was ahead while through her training and waiting. She often looked at simple works of Jedi history as she waited for the day a master would select her as a padawan. She anticipated the day would come, but for a while, none did. She began to wonder if it would ever happen. She knew that younglings that didn't get chosen were sent to the mines and farms. But, almost when she lost her hope, she was chosen. Her master was a female Cathar named Leelah Tanits, she wielded a yellow-bladed lightsaber.
She was relived that she had been chosen by her. Leelah was a trained Jedi Councilor, more powerful in the force then battle training. But, unlike her master, she was to be a Sentinel. She received training in the force by her all the time, but she did have to receive better battle training from a saber form trainer. Jen was particularly very good at Makashi, it seemed natural to her. But, she also practiced in training with Soresu to be sure she was bale to defend agents blasters. She also knew that her master was planning the trip. It was the trip to make her own lightsaber.
Ilum was removed from all known records to prevent others from finding it. She knew that it was not even in Jedi records, but all Jedi knew the secret location in wild space. She had her share of anticipation when she boarded her transport to the planet. She made sure that she kept there Jedi tracker, only traceable to the Jedi. She hoped that nothing would happen, it was unlikely that it would. She and her master traveled to the barren icy planet. Her eyes focused on the future. She felt a slightly chill when she set foot, even with her cover. In her sack she held the pieces for her lightsaber. Once she made it to the crystal cave, her eyes were lit up by the glow of all the crystals. She made it to the center of the cave. She and her master cut a section from the blue crystals. The work must be precise. She worked on just the crystal for two days. She focused and used telepathy to put the blade together. She had to be exact, or KABOOM, one cooked padawan ready to be served. She also made sure that the lightsaber would work underwater because of how she fixed in the crystal. When she reached halfway through construction, a week after they had landed on the planet. She had a vision, it was of pain, she saw her master's eyes close, her body full of lightsaber cuts. She opened her eyes from seeing it. This was not good news. Never the less, she finished her lightsaber. She remembered the saying that her master imparted.
"The crystal is the heart of the blade. The heart is the crystal of the Jedi. The Jedi is the crystal of the Force. The Force is the blade of the heart. All are intertwined: the crystal, the blade, the Jedi. You are one." She felt the weightlessness of the blade. She waved her hand near it, no heat, so she did it right. She re-pressed the transformer button and the blade deactivated. She clipped it onto her belt. She and her master went to there transport, then returned to the temple, leaving no trace.
The first mission with her lightsaber was a mission to guard a diplomat while he tried to get another world to join the republic. She wondered if she would have to use her lightsaber, the once piece of knowledge that was imparted to her and she kept close was that if a Jedi draws her saber, she musty be ready to take life. She hoped that she would not have to. But, to her dismay she met up with an assassin, it was a Twi'lek that defiantly did not favor their mission. She deflected the first blaster shot that was directed at the diplomat. Her master was on the other side, so she was the only option. She quickly sped to stop the threat. The killer was not very experienced, so she easily disarmed the opponent. She did not kill, for it was not the way of the order. The green twi'lek was put under arrest. Even though she acted rashly and received a scolding from her master. The mission was a success.
Through several other missions she grew. Her powers grew as well. She noticed that she could pinpoint weak points in certain things. She learned that it was called shatterpoint, it was not a very common ability, but she knew that boasting was not a good option. So, she kept it to herself, even today. Her hair grew more red, her figure more defined. When she reached this point was when she was 17, she had also grown physiologically. She no longer charged into battle like she has done when she started under her master.
The next notable mission was to track a known bounty hunter that went free-lancer and was contracting to attack valuable republic leaders, as well as senators. This could not be allowed to continue, the Jedi would intervene and capture this one. She and her master was sent to Nar Shaddaa. The planet was a cesspool of crime and villainy. But, it had a certain life to it, which soothed her when she was in the city. The first looking place was near the docks. Many transactions were made undercover of darkness, they waited, hidden, watching from a view point of a ship. Time passed, but no dice. He didn't show up. The next step was to try the refugee section, where many people end up. They split up, she looked through the crowed, but it seemed almost impossible. She continued searching. She felt the presence of danger near by, the force bond with her master allowed her to sense it as well. She quickly moved toward the pulse, she was met with a vibro-blade. She quickly blocked, but she let him continue. Then with her Makashi style at her use. She cut precisely his right shoulder and left leg. He fell back. Obviously he did not deal with Jedi often. But, then he did the unexpected and through a smoke grenade. She covered her face, but as he ran away, it was her master who caught up with him. He activated a military-grade jet pack. He would have got away, except for her master's incredible jumping power. She reached and sliced off the jet pack, but saved him from the fall. She contacted the athorities on the planet and they took him away in captivity. She took note of the mercy allowed, the Jedi again did not belive in killing priznors, so her master saved him from the fall. She again had more to learn.
The next turning point was where she began her trials for becoming a knight. She had been practicing battle meditation, for some reason she felt she would need it. She foucsed her mind each day. She waited for the training practice between the padawans that happened now and again. She would ask to practice, she usally foucsed on one padawan fighting another. First, it did not work well, she wasn't making progress. She had to keep trying, she had a gut feeling. She coninued to do so when she could. She got to a point with one padawan versing another, for the one she aided, it wasn't a contest, but she hadn't tried it on a better opponet, or a group.
