Character Faction: Civilian

Number Of People Wanted: I'd prefer no more than four, including Glem.

Reason For Roleplay: Mostly because Glem keeps poking me. xD She's bored.

Alright, so here's my proposed plot, though I'm desperate enough to go along with pretty much anything. Glem is a self-proclaimed courier. She often runs through the rougher side of town, and meets some... distasteful company. I'm thinking she's run into a Dark Jedi or Fringer. Either they want to intercept her package, or just don't like being bothered. They go after Glem, and she proves she's not one to be messed with. Then said person might propose a deal; hire Glem for a short period of time. Maybe making runs for a smuggling operation, or carrying spice, or something else not-quite-legal. It wouldn't last too long, and it wouldn't be a permanent arrangement, but I think we could have some fun.

Or even an undercover government agent, who was originally going to bust Glem, but ends up befriending the Gungan, and enlisting her help catching the bigger bad-guys.

Of course, I am totally open to different plot ideas, or elaborations.

Location: Coruscant/Corellia (Or another Urban Core World)

I am interested to include my character, Ty Lee Jing. However, some adjustments would need to be made.

Ty is the Minister of Defense of the Republic, meaning she controls all defensive movement of the army. However, her heart is truly hinted toward the dark side, and she wishes to see the Republic end in her life time. As of now, she is seeking some powerful sources that can aid her in doing so.

She could meet your character by chance and a friendship develops. I would prefer it be on Corellia, so Ty has less of a risk of being discovered on Courscant. I can easily make up an excuse for her being on the planet, if you are interested.

Hm, this sounds most intriguing. ;D We'd just have to think of a reason for a Gungan just-above-scum-level to be chatting with one of the Republic's most important executive officials. But I think it sounds great. Any more specifics in mind?

However, I have an idea as to how we meet.

As of right now my character is making a scene in the Jedi Council. Perhaps the news gets a hold of it and plays the story. You see the story, secretly contact me, and we end up meeting.

I know, it is pretty specific, and I am open to anythign simpler.

It depends on what sort of scene she's causing. Glem usually doesn't go out looking for business, though there are always exceptions. If you can elaborate a bit, I'll get to thinkin' on how to weave things together.

I play a Dark Jedi who is just trying to be left alone, so I could be virtually anywhere and might be able to find a way to get mixed in. In fact, I got a few ideas on how I could be involved with unsavory folks.

Eck, sorry, Starwarsgirl! Things have gotten super crazy 'round here lately. My bad. So sorry.

On the bright side, we've someone new to add to the mix! Potentially. Now, Glem, due to some past experience, is very distrustful of force-users, and males especially. Dark Jedi she absolutely loathes. She would be extremely reluctant to work with/for one, unless they had made an absolutely stunning argument. Or, if she was completely unaware that they were a force-user.

Though, if we can come up with something, I say go for it!


Now back to previously stated matters. ;D Ty certainly is causing a bit of a disturbance... or was, it was a while back that I actually flipped through the thread. X) Again, I'm dreadfully sorry.

Okay, I'm thinking this is how it's going to go... Ty is looking to make some connections. There's a major member of the Exchange with his hide-out on Corellia. Glem will make deliveries for him sometimes, seeing as he pays very well. Now, Glem will probably want to arrange some sort of meeting. I'm thinking Glem will be hired by Ty to take a message to this crime-boss, who goes by the name of Typhoon, though nobody's sure exactly who/what he is. Zabasaz, you'll have to decide exactly how you want your character involved with Typhoon, but I could see him picking up the message from Glem, or being a bodyguard, or something along those lines. If he's even involved with Typhoon. He could always run into Glem or Ty in the city. Ty could even hire him as a bodyguard for her. Totally up to you.

So, before we get started...

Starwarsgirl: Let me know if the above is acceptable, and if not, let me know how to change it.

Zabasaz: Let me know if you want your character in the plot ahead of time, or if he'll just kinda appear whenever you please.

And after that, we should be golden! I'm sorry this took me so long before, it shouldn't be so bad again. X)

WELL, I'd LIKE to rp as soon as possible, so at the earliest opportunity I could appear, I'd like to appear.

So, I will emerge (if everything's gravy with it) as Typhoon's bodyguard and likely improvise from there based on what seems most lucrative for the plot. If you PM me the thread when it begins I will read it and keep track, and show up whenever Typhoon does (and if that's at the beginning, then I will be there from the beginning.)

Thanks, it's tricky to find Star Wars RP sites that fit my needs without making them myself, and honestly life is a bit hectic to be managing a site. I mean I could do it, but I'm a perfectionist with my word when it is intended to be a service, so it'd irk the life out of me.

Ah, yes, well, as previously stated in OOC, feel free to have Zab himself hire an delivery, or bring in an NPC, or anything of that sort. The plot with Ty ended up becoming a deeper one than I thought it would be (not that I'm complaining), and I hadn't quite landed the free time to come entirely tidy things up. But, anywho, the above offer still stands, if you're interested. X) And if you're not, well, I take no offence at you moving your RP business elsewhere, if that's what you desire. But I'd still love to have you, if you'll stick around. I might even start a new thread to keep things less cluttered... just let me know what you want to do.
