Due to his Miraluka ancestry and a combination of the genes from his human parents, Everard's light blond hair had turned completely white by the age of seventeen. His hair falls down straight, about half way to his shoulders.
Jedi avoid vanity and Everard is no exception, though since he is blind anyway he would not really care regardless. He usually wears the simple brown Jedi robes when around the Temple or on various missions. But, in order to make himself look more proper during diplomatic meetings and political events he goes for a more elegant, but yet still simple, white robe. All seven of his lightsabers are kept on his belt with each being an equal distance away from each other in order of most used to less used (order posted).

His father, Mestipen Mikhail, bought the cantina after it nearly went out of business years previously due to bad management on the part of the previous owner. Mestipen was a well like individual in the community and would often turn a blind eye to dealings that went on in the cantina as long as they did not cause him any trouble.
Mestipen was a man of little words and of considerable intelligence as he was originally planning on becoming an attorney but instead bought the cantina on impulse. He had a tendency to act on impulse despite his intelligence, but he eventually grew to enjoy life owning a cantina instead of what would have been a more mundane life as an attorney. It was also in his cantina that he met the woman that would eventually become him wife and the mother of his son, Mayli.
Mayli was something of a nomad, as from childhood she would travel from planet to planet with his father, who was half Miraluka. Of course, that made her one fourth Miraluka herself. Her father was a scavenger who would rummage through crashed ships or old buildings. He would then take whatever he could and sell for an insanely high price claiming it was a part better than it actually was, and then take the first flight off the planet. Eventually, Mayli went off on her own which led to her doing the same thing as her father. Her travels lead her to Mestipen's cantina on Ator.
Mestipen was considerably older than Mayli, but he was also a notorious flirt. He would give drinks to Mayli for free, which she took obviously knowing what he was doing. She was planning to stay on Ator for a while so she frequently visited Mestipen's cantina. She found found Mestipen attractive despite the age difference and eventually they formed a relationship. At first the relationship between them was purely physical, but within time they truly started to fall for one another. And just a few months after they had met, Mestipen and Mayli married.
About six months after their marriage, Everard was born. With his father being completely human and his mother being three-fourths human and one-fourth Miraluka, that made Everard one-eighth Miraluka. Despite settling down, Mayli was a nomad at heart as she had been traveling extensively since she was young. Mestipen could not leave the cantina, and had no wish to, so he could not indulge in Mayli's nomadic lifestyle.
Mayli would often go on short trips to nearby planets, and on one of her trips she decided to take Everard, who was about two at the time, with her to Coruscant. She wanted to just explore the large planet city as she had never been there before, and she thought that having her young son along for the trip would keep her company. While taking in the various landmarks and sights that could be witnessed, she ended up crossing paths with the Jedi.
Instantly, the Jedi recognized both Mayli and Everard to be Force-Sensitive. Mayli had never had any training in the Force and she mostly ignored her sensitivity as merely being part of her Miraluka ancestry. The Jedi informed Mayli that while it was too late for her ever to have training, Everard could be taken into training at the Jedi Temple. Mayli, though somewhat reluctant, allowed the Jedi to take Everard for training as a Jedi as she knew that he would have a better life as a Jedi than living on Ator. Mayli then returned to Ator and never left the planet again.
For the most part, Everard grew up in the Jedi Temple like all of the other Younglings. He was taught the Jedi philosophy and of the light side of the Force. Though, not the most skilled among the youngling he was rather well liked and made many friends. He was a calm student and very patient, not taking any of his lessons for granted. When he wasn't under instruction from one of the instructors, Everard could most often be found in the Temple's archives. He liked to study cultures, planets, and languages in the library as well as his Jedi teachings, so he was a very well rounded student with knowledge that many had difficulty rivaling.
Most students enjoyed the company of Everard, though one Youngling was jealous of Everard's popularity among the other students and teachers as well as his skill in the Force. The Youngling was a male Tiss'shar (subspecies: Ask-ar) named Sas-Ma-San who was just months away from reaching the age of thirteen when he would not become a Jedi. Sas-Ma-San desperately sought the attention of the Jedi Knights that could take him as a Padawan, but he didn't know that it was already decided that he would not advance because of his vanity and temper.
Apparently, Sas-Ma-San had been sneaking out of Temple for quite some time and had met someone who was feeling his head with ideas could bring his downfall. The jealousy of the Sas-Ma-San was overwhelming him, but he mostly kept it under control till one day at lightsaber practice. If there was one thing that Sas-Ma-San was better at than Everard it was pure physical strength, so he felt overconfident.
In a short sparing match before the Jedi instructor arrived, Everard, who was at the time nine years old, fought Sas-Ma-San in what he assumed to be a friendly match. They exchanged blows and they both seemed evenly matched as each blow that both used were countered. But, Everard then started using his limited Force Sense abilities and began to get the upper hand. With a sharp hit on Sas-Ma-San's hand that was gripping the lightsaber, the Tiss'shar dropped the weapon. At this point Sas-Ma-San snapped and pounced on Everard.
Everard could sense something was wrong, but as a Youngling he was still not skilled enough to discover what that was until it was already too late. He was knocked to his back and Sas-Ma-San used his claws to slash Everard's eyes. The other Younglings were quick to act and forced Sas-Ma-San off, who then quickly fled the room. The disturbance, as well as various yells and screams from Everard and other Younglings, from the incident brought several nearby Jedi Knight and their instructor running toward the room to find Everard clutching his bleeding eyes on the floor.
The Jedi quickly rushed Everard to the medical bay. The Force healers in the medical bay were able to stop the bleeding and patch up his eyes well enough, but they were not able to save Everard's sight which was now permanently lost. The trauma of the even also caused Everard to fall ill, though his life was not in danger. Despite the Healers doing all they could to help him, Everard was ill for a few weeks and lost quite a bit of weight. The aftermath of the illness can still be seen as he still has difficulty gaining weight and he is prone to illness.
Eventually Everard recovered and joined back with the other Younglings minus Sas-Ma-San who had apparently disappeared. Everard previous abilities in lightsaber combat were greatly diminished as with many he had relied on his sight. This was obviously noticed by those training as well as his Miraluka ancestry, so he was introduced to Master Jer-Ri a male Miraluka in the order that had volunteered to train Everard in Force Sight as long as he remained a Youngling.
Everard seemed to have a natural talent for the Force Sense abilities, but the training for Force Sight was difficult. Master Jer-Ri instructed him to close his eyes and begin to reach out to people in the Temple and attempt to "see" them with the Force. Obviously, Everard failed many times attempting such a technique as it was much more advanced than what he was used to. But, every moment that he was not with the other Masters and Youngling he was with Master Jer-Ri. Everard did not want his physical blindness to halt his training to become a Jedi, so he worked with a diligence that he had not used in his other training.
About a year passed with his Force Sight training with Master Jer-Ri, as well as his other training as a Youngling, and Everard was finally able to reach out and see with the Force a few feet in front of him. Though, he could recognize living creatures, though not yet their alignment, he still had some difficulty seeing through inanimate objects. He had excelled in most of his other studies as well and this was noticed by the elderly Master Satra Minetii.
Master Satra Minetii was a human woman of about 106 years of age who was considered a senior member of the Order. She had been impressed that he was overcoming such hardships at an age younger than most and did not turn away from the teachings. So, at the age of eleven Everard was chosen by Master Satra Minetii to become her Padawan.
Though Everard's training with Master Jer-Ri was complete, yet still a long way from mastering the Force Sight, his training in that field continued with Master Minetii who, though not as well versed in the ability as Master Jer-Ri, could teach more about the ability while she taught him much more than he could learn as a mere Youngling. Since she was a Consulor she was more attuned to diplomacy than the more dangerous missions of other Jedi Masters, though her age played a factor as well.
Around the time of Everard's advancement to Padawan, four other Younglings around his age became Padawans as well whom he became close friends with. A female Twi'lek named Mogra Komad was Everard's closest friend out of the Padawans and she was one year older than him. Another of the Padawans was a human male named Vashner Sologon whom Everard knew quite well since they were in the same Youngling clan. Also, Everard was friends with a male Nautolan named Ereno, though he was more quiet and distant from the rest. And finally, there was the male Wookie named Floorarump who Everard still claims is the nicest and most gentle being he had ever met, until he was seen in battle.
It was also with those friends that he became interested in linguistic, which he would later spend more time on in his diplomacy. In order to speak to Floorarump it would be required to learn Shyriiwook since Wookies were incapable of speaking Basic. He found a Holocron in the Temple Archives that was designed to teach the language to races not able to actually speak it themselves due to their biology. He found Shyriiwook to be a rather simple language to grasp, so he was able to have broken conversations with Floorarump after a few months, though it would still be many years before he would learn it fluently.
Everard found that learning the Tei'leki language was more difficult, but not as necessary since Mogra could speak Basic just fine. But, he still spent time attempting to learn the language and he even tried to immitate the movements of tentacles with his arms, though he had tried. It took him a few months to learn even some basic Twi'leki, but after a while it began to come to him easier, though it was still many more years until he would become fluent.
Master Minetii decided that one of Everard's first missions as a Padawan would be the creation of his own lightsaber. So, under the instruction and supervision of Master Minetii he began to work on his lightsaber. Being the greatest tool of the Jedi, Everard was somewhat nervous about the creation because of his physical vision limitations. The construction was a pain staking process that took many weeks. He had difficulty with some parts of the construction because he had yet to master Force Sight, so he had to construct a large majority of the lightsaber by feel only.
The final part, and most important aspect, of the creation of the lightsaber was the crystals. He was told to meditate on which crystals to choose for his lightsaber. The color was not difficult because there was really little to choose from in the Temple, and it would not matter much to him anyway since he would never see the blade's color. So, reaching out with the Force to see the Force sensitive crystals, he choose the one which he believed would be the best suited for him. His choice ended up being a light green crystal. Then came the matter of thesecond focusing crystal, through more meditation and considering, he decided on a Rubat crystal. He installed the crystals and completed his lightsaber, successful completing the mission given to him by Master Minetii.
Lightsaber: This lightsaber was the one that Everard first constructed as a padawan and has remained as his most used lightsaber and the one he is most in tune with. The first crystal in this lightsaber is that of a rather common light green crystal with the addition of a rubat crystal which sharpened the definition of the blade so that it could be used smoothly and accurately. The hilt is in the adept style and is single phase.

The lightsaber contains a crystal that gives the blade a bright yellow color and a Lorridan crystal that is useful for defense and deflecting blaster bolts. The hilt is a smaller version of the Retailator hilt and a is single phase, shoto lightsaber. Everard tends to use this lightsaber when in need of a good defense, and when used it is always in his left hand.

The crystal that gives the blade its color is a soft icy blue and it also contains a cut Upari crystal carved by Floorarump's own father which increased the raw power of the blade. The hilt is a unique design created by Floorarump to resemble the hilt of a Wookie staff and is single phased. Everard prefers to use this blade during a one on one duel between another Force user as it has more raw power than any other lightsaber he owns, though he has more difficulty controlling the blade.

Since this lightsaber was given to him by his master as she died, he cares for it greatly. He mainly uses this lightsaber when he needs to loud sound produced by the blade for a distraction, and he also tends to use this lightsaber when encountering hostile droids.

The hilt was in the Praetor style and was single-phased. Because this lightsaber was designed to be used underwater, Everard has had little chance to actually use it, at least until the current date.

In order to speak to Floorarump it would be required to learn Shyriiwook since Wookies were incapable of speaking Basic. He found a Holocron in the Temple Archives that was designed to teach the language to races not able to actually speak it themselves due to their biology. He found Shyriiwook to be a rather simple language to grasp, so he was able to have broken conversations with Floorarump after a few months, though it would still be many years before he would learn it fluently.
Everard found that learning the Tei'leki language was more difficult, but not as necessary since Mogra could speak Basic just fine. But, he still spent time attempting to learn the language and he even tried to immitate the movements of tentacles with his arms, though he had tried. It took him a few months to learn even some basic Twi'leki, but after a while it began to come to him easier, though it was still many more years until he would become fluent.
Master Minetii decided that one of Everard's first missions as a Padawan would be the creation of his own lightsaber. So, under the instruction and supervision of Master Minetii he began to work on his lightsaber. Being the greatest tool of the Jedi, Everard was somewhat nervous about the creation because of his physical vision limitations. The construction was a pain staking process that took many weeks. He had difficulty with some parts of the construction because he had yet to master Force Sight, so he had to construct a large majority of the lightsaber by feel only.
The final part, and most important aspect, of the creation of the lightsaber was the crystals. He was told to meditate on which crystals to choose for his lightsaber. The color was not difficult because there was really little to choose from in the Temple, and it would not matter much to him anyway since he would never see the blade's color. So, reaching out with the Force to see the Force sensitive crystals, he choose the one which he believed would be the best suited for him. His choice ended up being a light green crystal. Then came the matter of thesecond focusing crystal, through more meditation and considering, he decided on a Rubat crystal. He installed the crystals and completed his lightsaber, successful completing the mission given to him by Master Minetii.
Lightsaber: This lightsaber was the one that Everard first constructed as a padawan and has remained as his most used lightsaber and the one he is most in tune with. The first crystal in this lightsaber is that of a rather common light green crystal with the addition of a rubat crystal which sharpened the definition of the blade so that it could be used smoothly and accurately. The hilt is in the adept style and is single phase.
Color: Green
Lightsaber: This lightsaber belonged to a female Twi'lek Padawan by the name of Mogra Komad who died on a mission; Everard took her lightsaber in order to avoid it being taken by scavengers who would sell it for profit. This lightsaber also contains a green crystal, though it is a little darker shade than the one created by Everard, as well as a Stygium crystal which boosts the users stealth abilities. The hilt is in the sentinal style and is single phase. After his own lightsaber, this is the most common lightsaber that Everard uses.

Lightsaber: This a shoto lightsaber belonged to a male Human Padawan by the name of Vashner Sologon who died on a mission; Everard took his lightsaber in order to avoid it being taken by scavengers who would sell it for profit. The lightsaber contains a crystal that gives the blade a bright yellow color and a Lorridan crystal that is useful for defense and deflecting blaster bolts. The hilt is a smaller version of the Retailator hilt and a is single phase, shoto lightsaber. Everard tends to use this lightsaber when in need of a good defense, and when used it is always in his left hand.

Lightsaber: This lightsaber belonged to a male Wookie Padawan by the name of Floorarump who died on a mission; Everard took his lightsaber in order to avoid it being taken by scavengers who would sell it for profit. The crystal that gives the blade its color is a soft icy blue and it also contains a cut Upari crystal carved by Floorarump's own father which increased the raw power of the blade. The hilt is a unique design created by Floorarump to resemble the hilt of a Wookie staff and is single phased. Everard prefers to use this blade during a one on one duel between another Force user as it has more raw power than any other lightsaber he owns, though he has more difficulty controlling the blade.
Color: Blue
Lightsaber: This lightsaber belonged to Everard's late Master Satra Minetii who gave it to Everard on her deathbed. The blade of the lightsaber is a soft purple color and also contains a Dragite crystal that makes the blade of the lightsaber resonate more loudly when striking.. The hilt of this lightsaber is the rare Electrum hilt that signified her seniority among the Jedi; the lightsaber is single phased. Since this lightsaber was given to him by his master as she died, he cares for it greatly. He mainly uses this lightsaber when he needs to loud sound produced by the blade for a distraction, and he also tends to use this lightsaber when encountering hostile droids.
Color: Purple
Lightsaber: This lightsaber belonged to a male Nautolan Padawan by the name of Ereno who died on a mission; Everard took his lightsaber in order to avoid it being taken by scavengers who would sell it for profit. The blade of his lightsaber was blue due to the blue crystal and contained a crystal that allowed for a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, which allowed for it to be used underwater. The hilt was in the Praetor style and was single-phased. Because this lightsaber was designed to be used underwater, Everard has had little chance to actually use it, at least until the current date.

Lightsaber: This lightsaber belonged to a Dark Acolyte that Everard defeated as a Padawan, though the Dark Acolyte would kill himself with this very weapon soon afterwards. Like many lightsabers of dark jedi, this weapon contained a red crystal which gives the blade its red color also it contains a Katak crystal which can drain life force from the target. The hilt is curved and is single phase. Everard usually tries to avoid using this lightsaber because it is tainted with the dark side, but he keeps it as a reminder of his confrontation with that particular Dark Acolyte.
