I just bought the first season on Friday and started watching it over the weekend. I'm halfway through the 2nd season now online and I'm jumping off the walls.

I didn't expect to get so hooked by it. I thought "Hey, its that guy from Firefly. Maybe this show will be good." And it is.

-signs up for the Castle fanclub- Woot woot. XD If he busts out "Shiny" at any point, I will die laughing.

Season 2 finale. Who saw it, who saw where it was going and who head desked themselves at the end of it?

[Mara]

I was fine with the finale.

[Jazen]

Yea, it was good, but I hated how Castle was moving in the right direction all episode, then fudged it up at the end. Then again, I should have expected that.

Best part of the whole episode Castle: "So your telling me your alibi for this murder....is because you were sleeping with his wife."

-guys nods- "Well, yeah."

Castle: "........Wow."

Darn it they were so close. But that's just how it had to be. I felt this season was certainly an improvement from the last (not that the first season was bad, just that the show's moving in the right direction).

Every episode's a joy to watch and that's the kind of show I like.

I'm sad that the season's over, now I have to wait for the next one.

[Mara]

Yeah, it was highly enjoyable.

And I was glad that Beckett and Castle didn't get together. I mean, it is only season two. Seems a bit early for that. Especially since most of the time on TV shows when the two main characters get together, the shows go way downhill from there.

I just wish she hadn't broken up with Tom because of Castle. I liked Tom.
But things should be interesting when he returns after the summer, see if he and his ex got closer or not.

The ending was expected. Even Beckett's decision with Tom. She really doesn't strike me as someone that strings people along, especially when she comes to the realization that things aren't going to progress. I would, honestly, like it if more people did this, men and women.

It was too early in the show for them to get together and besides, what better way to have us chomping at the bit for the next season?

The things I didn't expect in the show were the subtleties. Seems like every time I watch the episode I catch something else. How the skinny dipping comment from Castle got a private smile from Kate (instead of the Bear Claw to the face that such comments previously garnered), the subtle tells on both their faces during the different coffee scenes, first on hers when he doesn't bring her one and then his when Esposito is the one getting it for her. It's been a part of them for most of the show and the loss of something so apparently minor affects them.

As for her play at the end, it was absolutely fantastic and layered. I truly felt that she was right there on the verge of breaking down and trying to keep herself together after the sideswipe hit of Gina showing up.

In fact, the one thing I didn't like was Castle, someone who is, generally, so good at reading people and can usually tell Beckett better than anyone, was completely clueless there at the end. Conceivably, I supposed, he may have accepted defeat and is therefore more or less blinding himself. He still thinks she's with Demming, after all.

The scene with the guy's friend and his wife was priceless. How many people would not give the wife a "are you serious" look when she said she wouldn't divorce him cause she liked her house too much XD

Sadly...I know people like that.

[Mara]

So the season premiere was on Monday...
I thought it was pretty good.

[Jenno]

I adored the season premiere, it was a great way to bring them back together. Highly amusing as well.

And of course, there have been a slew of steady episodes that have all been great additions to Castle.

But the episode just gone was a very interesting one and I can't wait to see what comes from it.

soooooo I had been watching castle until the early eps of the 2nd season but then kinda got distracted and dropped it.

This holiday thought I started rewatching it and just finished watching the season premiere for the 3rd season.

I just needed to say that this show is so bloody win. I had totally forgotten how funny it could be. Though I was a little disappointed that they didn't get together at the end of season 2, I suppose it does make sense especially considering it was renewed for a 4th season.

I just discovered this but did everyone else know that they actually released the books Heat Wave and Naked Heat?

Yup. My sister has read them.

[Jazen]

I've seen them. They are on my list of things to read....among like a hundred other things ^_~

Man, I need to find streams for season 3, I keep missing episodes D:

They should be on abc.com, depending on how long they keep them on there after air date.

Well just love every single scene of the show, I wonder how do they willing to keep the momentum since the first show.

[Jenno]

So, has anyone watched the season 3 finale? I have to say it was pretty intense. I can't wait for season 4 to kick off.

So you finally caught up, huh?


And indeedily, can't wait for the new season.

I caught up recently, it was so intense. I read some interviews about the plans for the 4th season.

Suffice to say, I'm pumped
