Anyone else loving this show? It has Nathan Fillion, who is always uber.

I really love the dialogue and banter between the characters and they are starting to show some real depth, which is nice. Wish I didn't have to waint until nearly the end of September for the rest of the season to play out.

I believe I saw three episodes before I didn't have the time in my schedule to watch it. I did rather enjoy it, Nathan's just an awesome actor and I do love the banter, like you said. Hmmm, think I should catch up on the episodes I haven't seen.

YES.
I saw the whole season, and I can't wait for its return.

Me either, I was hooked with one line "Condoms...*Walks away, walks back* Condoms in the bathroom"

One of my favorites is in the elevator after Castle meets the FBI agent she used to date. Both standing, staring at the door. She kind of fidgets, then the conversation:

Beckett: We dated....for six months
Castle: I...didn't ask.
Beckett: I know...you didn't ask VERY loudly.
Castle: I know! I'm like a Jedi like that!

Classic!

Or when he's staying in the car and the perp lands on the hood. Castle is pretending to be a cop from one of those 80's movies. After staring at each other for a second, he clicks on the windshield wipers which smack the guy in the face.

Hahaha, I loved the Jedi line!

So glad it's back...and Beckett looks good with long hair.

In fact...the next 37 minutes needs to hurry up so I can watch the newest episode

But I have loved the new season so far. ;D

I finally managed to watch the first season and am now up to date with the 2nd season.

Gotta say that while the idea of a female cop with a male 'consultant' isn't exactly original, I love teh show. Fillion is just mint as always and the concept of him being a novelist is win. Speaking of which, I need a new episode NAO

Definitely not original idea, but I do think it has more wit than other versions of this convention.

Last night's episode was epic, especially the beginning when Castled showed off his 'space cowboy' costume, ahahahahahahaha.

Best....episode....yet. The homage to Firefly was excellent. Nice to see him swaggering about in the coat of a brownish color. I was quite disappointed by the daughter, however. Of COURSE there are space cowboys! The entire episode, the way it played out with the plot and the laughs...I look forward to seeing much more of this show.

I loved when Beckett (I think it was her?) told him "nice suspenders."

So I'm in the process of catching up on this at the moment. Just about to watch episode 16 of season 2.

I still love this show, Nathan Fillion's acting brings so much joy to my life. xD

And the Firefly homage was immense (anyone pick up on the very small/subtle 'two by two hands of blue' referrence as well?). Darn I just love it so much.

Not only that but I've noticed a ton of actors on the show who were once in buffy, which also tickled me somewhat.

But yes, very much enjoying this at the moment.

Okay, I just this very minute finished catching up on my Castle episodes. Finished watching that two-parter which, with a more serious air to it, was a great thing to throw in this season I think.

And my love for this show has grown exponentially with the last few scenes of that two-parter. As soon as Nathan/Castle quoted Firefly 'I was aimin' for his head' I almost cried with joy. For any other Firefly fans out there, I'm sure you were absolutely loving that moment, I know I had to backtrack afterwards because I'd been laughing and exclaiming my love so much for the use of the line that I'd missed the things which came after it.

Truly enjoying this show more and more and I look forward to even more Firefly fun thrown in there.

I find it completely enjoyable without getting the Firefly bits.


Anyway, tonight's episode looks to be a cheesy Indiana Jones rip-off, which normally I would find kind of stale, but with Castle, could be interesting.

I missed this episode. Need to go and catch it online. The writers are pretty good, so I think they'll have done a good job. Don't ruin it for me.

As for the subtle nods to Firefly, Jenno, yes, I love it. Was watching it with my girlfriend and said that part would have been perfect for the Jayne quote. Fell off the couch laughing when he said it a few moments later.

Great and all too rare television.

Yeah, it wasn't cheesy at all. The commercials just made it seem overdone.
