(I AM FIRST TO POST ON THIS PLANET! WOOHOO! *Happy Dance* Now being serious...)
Vince reclined back in the pilot's chair of the Silver Arrow. Crumb sat next to him, looking out at the space and keeping an eye on controls, monitors, and many other things. Vince brought two metal arms behind his head and his breathing tool made what sounded like a sigh. But not one of grief but of relief, he hadn't gotten to enjoy something like this, so peaceful, in a long time.
"Hey Crumb, I've been thinking, do you have any plans? I mean, surely you don't plan on following me around your whole life do you? Surely you want to return back to your home planet or something like that?" Vince asked curiously, all went silence again, except for the sound of Vince's breathing device.
"Well," Crumb said looking over at Vince, "You do understand that you saved my life and don't even know it. That's why I boarded your ship. You remember on Kowak, you came across a Dire Cat? Some scientists had came just days before to examine my kind until we ran them off" a chuckle came from Crumb, "Yes, we had so much fun with them. Well, some of their specimens got loose and that Dire Cat you slew happened to be chasing me. When I came across your ship I wanted to get off the planet, it was growing dangerous with the already predators plus things like that, I wanted off the planet" Crumb said as if having everyday conversation with Vince.
Vince nodded silently, but then a few moments later there was a loud boom from the back of the ship. The ship bucked and rocked, followed by a screeching noise. It was definitely nothing they wanted to hear. The two friends exchanged looks for several silent moments. Each knew what the other was thinking and didn't have to voice their thoughts. Crumb jumped up and ran off into the back.
Vince took control, dodging a small asteroid. Druckenwall. The planet they were heading to inspect the dealings of a business that had all their competition's CEOs would have 'accidents', fatal 'accidents'. As long as the ship could hold up for the rest of the trip, then surely all would go well.
Crumb came running back to the cockpit of the ship, on all fours. He looked up at Vince for a moment before climbing back in his seat and looking over at his friend. Crumb sighed and closed his eyes for a few moments, as if thinking over how he should word it. He opened his eyes and looked up at Vince, his eyes were desperate. He had never seen his friend this serious before...
"The repulsorlifts are shot, got, nadda. Don't know what it is, but I think after those last repairs we attempted, they are gone. As well as the hyper drive engines" Vince nodded and the list went on, "Also, it seems a large asteroid had hit us and the hull of the ship has taken extensive damage" Crumb said looking down.
"Oh, we have been in worse conditions than that, we'll be fine-" Vince continued but his friend held up a finger, a gesture for him to wait.
"Also" Crumb's long whip-like tail swished, "We are running off one engine right now. We may be able to make it to the planet, I'll see what I can do, as soon as we enter the atmosphere though, Vince, you're gonna have to call me up here so I can help land, because we are in a very bad situation, you know how dangerous this is, I suppose" Crumb smiled and winked at his friend before running off to the back of the ship again.
How did he get himself into situations like this?...

Mirian hated long trips through space, she always had. Something about being confined for such anextended period of time in a single pocket of air was unnerving. SHe let out a sigh as she wandered around the ship taking her time so as not to trip over anything in the unfamiliar vessel. She was on her way to the cargo hold where she might find some solace to better meditate on the task they had been assigned.
It took several minutes to find her way to a nearly empty hold, it was tucked away in the back corner of the ship next to the loading ramp. It would serve her needs perfectly. She let out a sigh as she removed her cloak exposing her shapely figure, which looked more shapely thanks to her choice of dress. Most would assume that her stomach and arm would be cold exposed like this in space, but she had grown used to it having done many missions far from home. She also shed the foot covers she wore exposing her toes and heel to the cold metal of the ship. A small shiver rippled through her system awaking every nerve in her body, making her aware to everything within her. She sighed again as she knelt down in the center of the room.
Mirian kneeled in silence as she meditated on the mission at hand. Gorran Securities, has recently lost alot of competitors due to "accidents" and they were to be investigated now by the Jedi. Mirians thoughts now focused on her comrades and their strengths and weaknesses, and why each might have been chosen for this mission. SHe knew little of Vince the other Knight, who was currently flying the ship. She had met him once already and he had assisted her in deescalating a potentially dangerous scenario, but there was something odd about him, something she had yet to figure out. His padawan was also on this mission, A young half Miralukan by the name of Tem. She had also met him before being assigned this mission. It was strange now to think that they had all met well before coming together like this, the force works in mysterious ways
Around her the force flowed freely, circulating in many ways and extending to the full lengths of the room. Through her meditation objects also began moving around the room, mostly just cannisters movingfrom one side to the other. She often moved objects while deep in thought like this, doing it gave her something to focus her power on and thus open her up to the force in a way that she would not normally be. She could also feel the pressence of her companions as they moved through the ship. Vince was in the cockpit, along with his friend Crum, they had been there for some time now, and Tem... She frowned now as she had lost track of the padawan. This did not overly concern her as there was not too many places he could have gone, and in time she would sense him again.
A sudden jolt rocked her out of the trance she had attained. Immediatly she recognised the way it had felt and determined that something had hit the ship. This normally would not concern her as she had done all the work on her own ship and knew its limitations, but this ship was not hers, and she knew very little of it. Mirian huffed and with a slight groan lifted herself back to her feet. The floor was still cold beneath her feet and now instead of helping her remain aware, it would prove to be an annoyance. She slipped her foot covers on and with her cloak left folded neatly by the door and left the cargo hold. "Whats Going on?" She called out calmly as she slowly mad her way to the cockpit.

Tem sat in his bunk trying to meditate and take his mind off of the trip, he didn’t like space travel, no, that was far too strong, more like he was worried by it…slightly worried. It was probably just that he didn’t have a lot of experience with it, the last time he had been in space was when he was brought to the temple, he could barely remember that, except that the trip took what seemed like weeks. Tem was excited though, his first mission as a padawan, he couldn’t wait to get started, it seemed like an interesting mission as well. They were to investigate a corporation that was suspected of foul play against their competitors, yes, this would certainly be an interesting mission for the young padawan. Tem thought about his first meeting with Aaron earlier that week, and he had a feeling that he and Aaron would be a good pair, plus there was an additional knight with them, Mirian Fel, who Tem had met just before being assigned the mission. He didn’t know either of them that well, but he had a feeling that their meeting was the will of the force.
Tem came out of his meditative state when he felt the ship leave hyperspace, so he decided to go see Aaron and talk to him about the upcoming mission, what the plan was, what part he’d play, that kind of thing. He opened the door and began walking to the fore of the ship. He walked slowly as there was no hurry he supposed, they had to still be a ways away from landing, and Tem’s mind returned to the meeting he had with Aaron and he wondered about what kind of advantages a cybernetic body would allow him, but Tem doubted that they were exactly a welcomed gift. He couldn’t imagine what adapting to his new body could be like, but it had to be upsetting, which the impression that he got from Aaron that night. He also thought about his meeting with Mirian, and he thought about the conversation they had about their shared heritage. He hadn’t seen many Miralukans other then his mother and Mirian, he wondered about an entire planet of them on Alpheridies, silently hoping that one day he’d be able to see it. He thought about Mirian, she seemed very strong in the force, but also very graceful, he knew that she would be an asset in the mission, and maybe even a good friend, as their meeting had showed, she was very personable.
Before reaching the cockpit, Tem passed a hold and found the door open, so he decided to investigate what was going on, and looking in, he saw Mirian sitting in the center of the room with her cloak off, he had noticed yesterday that she dressed in tight fitting clothes that some would consider to be a bit revealing, but he was still surprised by it. He didn’t enter, but stayed in the door was and watched as things began moving around the room, but he stayed quiet. She was obviously meditating, and he wondered if she could tell he was looking at her, but she said nothing so he just continued to stare into the nearly empty hold. He couldn’t help but think about what she would look like fighting, he knew she was a guardian and a she carried two lightsabers, she was probably a stanch fighter.
Suddenly a crash rocked the ship sending Tem to the ground; he hit his head on the doorway on his way down and pain shot through his head. “OW!” He yelled in shock, putting his hand on the floor and pushing himself up off the ground, he looked around and saw Mirian standing back up and walking toward the door as Crumb ran by on his way toward the engine room, it was obvious that something was wrong. “What happened" Tem asked as Crumb ran toward the cockpit followed by Mirian and Tem, both looking for an explanation of what happened.

Not only did Vince's young protege come up, but so did the Jedi Knight accompanying them, who he looked to as a friend recently. This was bad, he couldn't candy coat anything like this, no way at all possible. Vince slammed the controls stressed, they were in trouble, big time. He looked over his shoulder at the two and then at Crumb, then back at the other two once again. Several thoughts ran through his mind before the approaching planet awakened him back to the present.
"Strap yourselves in, we've got a hell of a bumpy ride ahead of us, and I mean strap yourselves in, this is going to be bad. And I mean bad, not oh we'll have turbulence bad, I mean fireball of death bad" Vince said urgently and quickly, Crumb laughed at the metaphor before getting an angry glance from Vince, immediately he went quite. "NOW GET BACK THERE AND STRAP IN!" Vince yelled as the engine that were shot began to whine.
Vince could see the giant planet taking on his tiny ship. Crumb was slamming buttons on the controls, pulling the yoke of the ship around in several directions trying to regain some control before looking at Vince and unstrapping his belt and jumping up. He ran off back to the back of the ship once again. Vince sighed, Crumb was foolish, but he would risk his life for Vince.
"Hello, hello, can you hear me?" Vince had the comlink up to his head trying to make contact, "Hello, this is Vince Beole, I am a Jedi Knight sent here by the Jedi Council. My ship is shot to hell and I have no choice to crash land, and there is no other option of turning around. No ifs, ans, buts, or nors, you're gonna just have to like it. So I am sorry, if you get this, I am crash landing, repeat, crash landing!" Vince said.
'Ships repulsorlifts functioning at fifteen percent' an almost feminine voice said. Crumb had done it! But that didn't matter, the ship was still heading down, faster and faster. Beginning to slow the ship, they neared the ground, faster and faster. But that all changed, as soon as they were a couple hundred yards from the ground, Vince hit the repulsorlifts and they sputtered to life for a second before cutting off.
"HOLD ON! CRUMB GET UP HERE! WE HAVE TO CRASH LAND!" Vince bellowed over the noises. He turned around, to see his friend running, the small monkey-lizards form galloping, but then, a loose hydrospanner fell, knocking him to his feet. SLAM! The ship hit the ground, much of the frame had became crushed and it skidded along before doing a log roll and skidding to a stop.
It all happened so slow though, not the crash, that seemed to be over in a split second. But the fact that he watched as his friend was buried under a barrage of tools. He watched it, before his eyes. It wasn't real though, surely? Vince reached out in the Force for his friend, but couldn't feel anything. Did it really happen? Was this nightmare truly a reality?
Vince just sat there in the pilot's seat, looking over at the co-pilot's seat, silent. Crumb had risked his life to get the ship functional enough to land, and it still didn't work... And had... Died in the process? Vince unstrapped himself and jumped up, running to the back, Crumb didn't have enough time to lock the tools in place, they all fell on the small monkey-lizard's body... And... Crushed him... The words seared into Vince's brain. Tears flooded his face.
What did he do?...

Mirian stumbled awkwardly to the cockpit, a task made even harder by the turbulence. She felt slightly inadequate now as she rocked hard to the left and hit the wall with a thud. Her arm acked now, but she had a hunch that the pain would be much more in a few moments. up in front of her she could sense Tem, he couldnt have been more than 6 feet away, she was glad now that she knew where he was, but again regreted the circumstances that this had occured in.
Once up front she got a better sense of what was really going on. "Vince, i get the impression were in trouble." Their was a noticable note of concern in her voice. As Vince spoke she began to understand that he thought things were really bad, possibly fatal. Immedialy Mirian turned to Tem, and pointed to what she had determined as a seat with straps. "Tem... take this chair, and strap in. I'll get the next one." At the moment she had no clue where the next chair, and more importantly seatbelt, was located so she simply moved to stand behind Tems chair.
Suddenly the realization of what was happening washed over Mirian. They were no longer on course, and no longer safe. According to Vince they were gonna crash hard, and she had nowhere to strap in. It was also at that point that crumb ran past her, no doubt going to do whatever he could to keep the ship up. "Vince how far off course are we?" SHe didnt wait for a response, as she had assumed that he could not hear her, and immediatly went to a nearby computer pannel to find out where they were going to touch down.
A moment later Vince was yelling at Crumb, and the turbulance had reached a new level of intensity. Thats also when a sense of loss crept over her, she had suddenly felt a voice cry out and silence in an instant, and she knew that something terrible had happened. Time was short and she had no time to process what she felt, as a sharp jolt knocked her away from the control pannel sending her to the floor. They had made impact and the ship now bounced accross the landscape.
With every additional impact Mirian bounced and slid, hitting walls and anything not bolted down. This did not last too long however as the ship soon slid to a stop. It ended as fast as it had started, and now there was nothing. Slowly mirian tried to raise herself up but found her torso trapped under a large pannel. A sharp sense of pain flooded through her arm as she tried to move the pannel. Her shoulder had dislocated, and she was unsure if it had happened before the crash or during. "Tem..Vince...Crumb...Is anyone there... SHe let out a gasp of pain as she tried to move the pannel again.
It was hard now not being able to see, and she had a large headache that now broke her focus enough to blind her from her force sight. She was running now entirely on sound and touch, both of which were obscured now by external stimuli. "Tem..Vince...Crumb... she called out again.

Tem tried to stay standing as yet another crash rocked the ship, which he barely did. He knew something was horribly amiss, he feared that they might die. It was official now, Tem didn’t like space travel, and he just wanted to set his feet onto solid ground, what he’d give to be on solid ground right now, “Oh, by the force...” He said as the turbulence rocked the ship once more. He arrived at the cockpit to some difficulty and heard Mirian ask "Vince, I get the impression were in trouble." Which Tem followed up with “What happened?” But before he could receive an answer, she spoke up again, "Tem... take this chair, and strap in. I'll get the next one." Tem sat down and began buckling in, he felt a presents behind him once he finished and looked back to see Mirian had not sat down but instead was standing behind his chair trying to hold on to it.
Crumb had jumped down from his seat and ran back to the aft of the ship, Tem hoped that he would be able to fix their flight problems…Or wave a magic wand and magically make then ship stop jolting from side to side, Tem worried that he might get sick, but he focused his thoughts on controlling this reflex, he couldn’t get sick now, he had to control himself.
Everything was happening so fast Tem barely had time to process it all, they had to have hit something, Tem reasoned, probably an small asteroid or meteor, but whatever it was, it had obviously did some major damage to the ship as they seemed to be out of control. Tem found himself worrying about whether or not they were going to crash, as he could see the planet growing larger and larger through the cockpit window, this was very bad, the young padawan thought, they were going to crash.
"Hello, hello, can you hear me?" Vince began into the comlink, Tem was even more worried now, if Vince was calling for help, they were most likely going to crash. "Hello, this is Vince Beole, I am a Jedi Knight sent here by the Jedi Council. My ship is shot to hell and I have no choice to crash land, and there is no other option of turning around.” Tem could hear the worry in Vince’s metallic voice. “No ifs, ands, buts, or nors, you're gonna just have to like it. So I am sorry, if you get this, I am crash landing, repeat, crash landing!" Tem looked back to implore Mirian to find something to strap into, but she was at a console typing away, he couldn’t tell what she was doing, but by the alarms blaring and the sight of the ground coming up to meet them at record speeds, he was filled with fear.
He saw Vince yell in the commlink at Crumb to return to the cockpit, but he had a feeling it was already to late, he looked back at Mirian as he felt the ship smack into the unforgiving earth, it was as if time had stopped as the boy saw Mirian flung to the ground and his chair broke and he was thrown on to the back of the chair. Suddenly he was in a field, one from his memories, back on Nadiem, his mother was there, she looked down at him and smiled. His eyes flew open and he was back on the ship, he couldn’t stand and relizied he was still strapped to the chair, which was on it’s side, he heard Mirian’s voice, "Tem..Vince...Crumb...Is anyone there...” He stood up slowly, he didn’t have any major wounds that he could tell, Tem looked over on the other side of the room, there was a panel pinning Mirian to the ground, Tem instantly bounded over to help her. "Tem..Vince...Crumb...” She called out again. His worried mind thinking only of helping the pinned Jedi and he began to lift the heavy panel up, his arms and legs straining to lift the large object off her, “I’ve got you.” Tem said reassuringly, “Just help me lift.” He said in a horse voice, a large gash on his head going unnoticed by either of them.

Vince fought back the urge to yell. If he could cry, he would have, but he couldn't. Instead, he just looked at the pile of tools. Silent. How could this happen to him? Then Vince looked at the other two, Tem was helping Mirian get some debris off of her which penned her down. Vince leaned down, and helped lift up the object. As soon as that was over, he stood straight up, he was wearing his Jedi Clothes, he always did, it kept him hidden. But he walked into a little hatch and opened it, and pulled back his robe, which had fallen to the ground. He donned the robe and pulled the hood up slowly.
He didn't want to talk to anyone, he shut his emotions off completely now. He shut himself off too. He looked over his shoulder at the pile of tools, that had once been used by his friend. But this time, the tools removed his friend from life. Vince tried to lower the boarding ramp, which was useless, it wasn't going to open, it was smashed up so badly that it wasn't going anywhere. So Vince silently withdrew his ligthsaber and cut a hole large enough for him and the other two to fight through.
"We should go, now... Not waste any time, we can get another ship later" Vince said, his voice was empty yet filled with pain. Once again, silence crept over him, well, except for the sound of his breathing device. He hated it when things got quite, it reminded him of his pain, of his current state. All thanks to that one device that kept him breathing.
Vince looked down in the hole but didn't bother jumping down he just waited for his apprentice and friend. This was going to be a long day, that was for sure. And he didn't want to be here. He wanted to be somewhere else giving Crumb a proper ceremony, if no one else attended it, the least he could do was properly honor his friend with a burial and few words. There was a shuffling in the engine room. Vince figured that the two were pretty bad banged up, and figured they got lost. He leaned around the corner but nothing was there, just the ships engines, which weren't looking too well. His ship was beyond repair.
Looking over his shoulder, he watched for the other two...

MIrian was about to call out again when Tem moved in beside her. She could not sense him but she was able to hear him moving about the debris. "ive got you. just help me lift" He spoke in away that reassured her despite the current situation. Her thoughts now raced to the other companions, what had happened to them. Suddenly a terrible feeling gripped her as she rembered what she had felt before they had crashed. SHe knew someone had passed on, but who.
Mirian and Tem strained against the weight of the pannel, finding it too heavy to move. She was going to give instructions to Tem to cut her free when she heard another individual walking towards them. In the quiet that surrounded them she was able to hear that the individual was heavy set, and each step clinked and squeaked as if it had been a droid walking towards them. IN a fluent movement the pannel lifted off of her, almost as if it were nothing at all. She sat up with a groan as she lifted her right arm up to place her hand on the side of her head. She couldn't feel any blood or bumps so she knew that she would be fine, and with a few minutes of grounding she would her focus would return and she would beable to see through the force again.
"Tem? WHere is Vince and crumb?" her confusion was now overwhelming as she prayed her companions were fine. She had asked about vince because she had no knowledge of the robotic status of his body, she had assumed a droid had pulled the pannel off of her. It took Mirian several moments to lift herself up from the floor to a standing position. She was bruised up quite badly at this point, with several bruises now visible along her stomach, back, lower thighs, and left shoulder. She let out another groan as she began feeling her way along the corridor that led to the cockpit. She was on her way now to get her cloak, if she could find it, from the cargo hold.
Off in the distance Mirian could hear a lightsaber activating, and hear the sound of steel being cut. She couldn't tell if it was someone cutting in or out, but that was irrelevant now. As she moved slowly along the corridor her feet caught on a pile of tools and she fell with a loud smack. Instinctivly she had thrown her hands out to catch her, and upon hitting the ground her right and came into contact with a much smaller hand. Suddenly as if someone had turned on all the lights in her mind she saw flashes of the last few moments of Crumbs life. It was overwhelming and she sobbed quietly to herself as she pulled her hand away.
She now sat in the corridor with her back to the wall. The eath she had felt had been their small companion, and Vinces friend. With as much pain as she felt, she could only imagine what Vince now felt. WHen she had made contact with the little hand the force had opened up to her again, and she was now able to see again, though she did not enjoy the surroundings.
With another groan she stood up, and foolishly tried to lift her left arm, which she knew had dislocated, to pull herself up. Mirian let out a yelp of pain as she fell back down cradling he injured limb. Again she tried to stand, this time using her right arm to pull her up. She stood for a moment now holding her left arm, and counting backwards from 5. "5...4..3..2.1" Once she got to one she slammed her left side hard into the nearby wall, and loud pop indicated that the dislocated limb had now relocated. SHe tried to stifle the shriek that wanted to escape her, and managed to suppress it to a loud groan.
Mirian continued down the hallway walking smoother and faster now that she could see. In no time she had managed to get into the cargo hold. As it had been before the crash it now lay nearly empty. Findng her cloak was easy, and when she did find it she threw it over her shoulders to cover her small and bruised frame. Despite getting the ability to see back, a bad headache now kept her from focusing enough to find either Tem or Vince"Tem... Vince... We need to get out of here. She spoke still unaware that Vince had been the metalic man that had helped minutes ago, and even more unaware that he had already exited.

(OOC: I know it's short, but I just ran out of stuff to talk about I suppose, I'm just getting wicked writers block, sorry about the wait and the disappointing post.)
Tem moved aside when Vince came over to the panel, lifting it as if it were nothing. He was still trying to gather his thoughts, everything had happened so fast, he didn’t know what to make of it all, he was just happy to be on the ground, and it seemed that everyone was alright. He was still in shock though, he tried to calm down but his emotions were just running wild, fear, joy, and even anger at the situation, he could barely contain his feelings, but he took a deep breath and tried calming himself. “Tem? Where is Vince and Crumb?" Mirian’s asked the stunned boy, “Well, Vince is right there,” He pointed over toward Vince who was on the other side of the room now, “But I don’t know where Crumb is.” Tem finished quietly, he felt bad for some reason, he felt like their tribulations weren’t over yet.
Mirian tried to stand up but Tem could see that she was having difficulty so he reached his hand out to help lift her small frame from the ground, “Here you go.” He said as he pulled her up off the ground with her good arm. Tem watched as she began walking to the aft of the ship, and he wondered what she was doing, seeing Vince begin to cut a hole into the hull to get out, Tem still didn’t know where Crumb was, finally having time to contemplate what had really happened. He slumped the floor, placing his hands on his head, spent from the whole ordeal.

It took Mirian a few minutes to find her way to the hole that had now been cut in the door. The residual energy left over on the edges was that of a lightsaber, a jedi had cut this. SHe felt better knowing now that Vince was okay, and had infact made them an appropriatly sized exit though she still now questioned where he was. As she stepped out through the hole she was immediatly greeted with a cool salty breeze and the sound of the planets vast ocean washing up on shore. THey had touched down and managed to crash just meters from the waters edge. Had anything been different they all could easily have drowned.
Mirian let out a sigh as she gently fell to her knees. The relief she now felt was equal with the grief of losing Crumb. She knew full well that she hardly knew him, but still he gave his life to ensure that they would live, and such acts of heroism rarely go without someone grieving. As she knelt their she continued to reach out in all directions with the force, hoping to locate Vince, but alas she still did not have the needed focus to do so. She was aware of Tem now as he exited the ship, and moreso than that she was aware of a wound on his head now, one that would most likely need medical attention.
"Tem, Come here, let me see your head." Her voice was small and reflected the delicate state of her body that she now tried to hide. SHe hoped the wound was not to bad, and even mentally scolded herself for not noticing it sooner, but she made a note to meditate on her nearsightedness later. It was strange to be out here now, with one companion still missing. Her assumption now was that Vince had gone to mourn the death of his friend, and that was why she could not feel him. Though she felt it wise to leave him be at the moment, she wished that she could aid in consoling him. "There is no death, there is only the force... She whispered more to herself than anything.

Tem saw Mirian walk by him with her cloak now on; she was heading for the exit that Vince had made for them. He didn’t know where Vince was, he had disappeared into the bowels of the ship, Tem stood up and followed Mirian out of the ship, dropping down to the ground, his knees giving out a little now that he was on solid ground. “Where is Vince and Crumb?” Tem asked but received no answer. "Tem, Come here, let me see your head." She said, he felt the gash in his forehead, and examining his hand he saw blood, he didn’t know how serious it was but it was most likely why he felt so lightheaded.
Tem walked over to the Jedi knight and sat down in front of her so she could examine the wound, he thought it would be best to focus on something else so he began to look around a little, trying to gage where they were. He could see, hear and smell the ocean, he wondered how far from civilization they were, he hoped not far as his knees still felt weak. He tried to focus as Mirian looked at his head, thinking about what might have happened to Crumb and Vince, he had seen Crumb head for the engine room just before the crash, maybe he was hurt, that’s why Vince was gone, he was tending to Crumb, Tem liked that explanation better then the alternatives so he went with it, Vince would make sure Crumb was alright, and soon they’d be on their way to a settlement and back on with the mission. That sounded like a good situation, Tem liked that one, that had to be what was going on… "There is no death, there is only the force...” he heard Mirian whisper, and he didn’t like what that could mean, he already had a bad memory of that saying, he could use another like a hole in his head. “Which I have.” Tem said to himself, he chose to not think of it anymore and asked Mirian, “So, how far do you think it is to the nearest settlement?”

Mirian Let out a sigh as she examined the boys head. The gash was farely large, but luckily it didnt seem at all too deep, though she was not overly able to tell for sure. She gave Tem a weak smile and patted him on the shoulder. He had asked about Vince and Crumb and she was unsure how to tell him of their companions fate. SHe let out a sigh as she assumed that the best thing to do would be to simply tell him out right. "Tem...Vince is in mourning. Crumb... gave his life to save us. I don't know if you need to know how, but he was very brave and we owe him everything." SHe let out another sigh and lowered her head "There is no death, there is only the force."
SHe spent a few more moments in silence Mirian slowly stood to her feet. SHe felt a little woozy, but managed to stay balanced . She tried for a moment to remember how far off course they were. It couldnt have been far, not more than a few clicks. She did a quick turn feeling out in all directions, until finally she stopped . "Tem.. we have to go this way... SHe was sure that she could feel large amounts of life in this direction, so there had to be a city or a town, or somewhere they could get help. With that she started walking.

Tem groaned as she continued to examine his forehead, the pain finally setting in as his adrenaline began to fall back to normal levels. Tem could sense some anxiety in he waited for an answer, a sadness was there in her aura, "Tem...Vince is in mourning. Crumb... gave his life to save us. I don't know if you need to know how, but he was very brave and we owe him everything." Tem couldn’t think of anything to say to this, he was in shock about Crumbs death, he couldn’t believe that the Kowakian was dead, Mirian sighed and spoke the phrase again "There is no death, there is only the force." Tem was familiar with this saying quite well, and he still didn’t particularly like it, “I know…” he said in an almost bitter tone.
Mirian stood slowly and looked around, Tem could tell she was using her force sight to find the direction of the nearest settlement, he just sat where he was and touched his forehead again, it stung considerably, not that it was threatening or anything, it was just a superficial cut, it would heal, and there was even a chance he would be without a scar, he just wished that he had studied more on using the force to heal right now. He looked up at Mirian and she had stopped looking around, "Tem…We have to go this way...” She said knowingly. The young padawan stood up slowly, checking belt that his lightsaber and other gadgets where all in order, then he started after her, his mind still dwelling on Crumb and his sacrifice, though he tried to hide his thoughts from the others, anger welling up within him secretly, this mission wasn’t what he had expected, there wasn’t adventure, just loss, and he wouldn’t let it claim another of their band, he wouldn’t allow it, no more would be lost on this damn mission, Tem thought angrily.

Vince didn't want to move the equipment to see his friend's beaten corpse. He just wanted to let him rest, and peacefully. So deciding not to let anyone else mess with it Vince walked calmly to the pilot's seat and started up the ship, he knew the engine's would eventually over-heat until the ship just blew up. He didn't want to leave any trace of him and the other two and no one to disturb Crumb's corpse. Calmly walking back through the ship, stopping by the pile of equipment Vince too one last look down. His breathing had quickened, matching his heart beat. He just nodded his head no before dropping through the whole.
He took a few moments to look around before running up to catch up with the other two Jedi. This mission was going to be difficult. Especially for Vince. His emotions would get the better of him, once again, like last time. Well, the last time was when he left the Jedi Order. Either way, there would be hell to pay. He was sent on this mission to stop this guy's illegal, under the table business, and it had cost Crumb his life. Vince let his anger swell inside of him, despite the Jedi Code.
"Let's get this over with, I want to get off this planet as soon as I can" Vince said sharply.
