((For Keilara))
Tatooine. For some odd reason Rhissai just enjoyed being on this planet, there was just some kind of aura that she took a liking to. She would say that it reminded her of her homeworld, but then... the only similarity between Tatooine and Aphithir was the outrageous temperatures that they both seemed to achieve. Other than that it would be like saying the barren wastes of a desert reminds you of a beautiful, yet hot, tropical paradise.
She sat in the pilot's seat of her ship, the All Under Heaven, as it lie on one of the sandy surface of a space port in Anchorhead. Slowly, those tendrils of her awareness slid outwards, well past her own body, and out into the surrounding space port. The woman allowed those tendrils to lightly brush against some of the minds as they passed, picking up a few surface thoughts, and emotions, of the people that they touched.
After a few moments of expanding her awareness outwards she quickly withdrew it into herself, now was not the time for meditation... they had a pair of serial killers to apprehend. I say they, because it was more than just Rhissai on her ship... she had a soon-to-be knight by the name of Keilara Starwind and Rhissai's ever faithful Wrex along with her. This would be one of the rare times where she would actually bring her big vornskr along... just on the off chance that one, or both, of those people happened to be Dark Jedi.
A slight sigh escaped the woman's lips as she lifted her weight off of the spartan seat and turned herself about towards the passenger compartment. Those emerald amethysts in her eyeballs drifted about until they met with her pup, Wrex, even though the creature was far from a puppy... he always would be in her eyes. Her lips broke out in a warm smile that belied the stoic mask that was about her face as she took a few steps forward and squatted down, calling the creature to her position in her native tongue. He wouldn't understand anything else.
The creature quickly perked up from his position and sauntered over to his master, who greeted with a few quick strokes of his midnight fur and kind sounding words that he didn't understand. But he didn't need to understand to know the full meaning of the words, it was the soft tones of her native tongue that allowed him to understand. Wrex looked up at his emerald eyed master and gave her a quick lick on the chin, which made the slight smile on her face turn to a grin.
“Such a silly creature, this one. Yet I know for a fact that he wouldn't hesitate to lay his life down if he thought that I required it of him.”
Rhissai almost absent mindedly spoke to herself, though it could easily have been directed at the other woman that was in the ship with her. The Jedi Master shifted her emerald eyes up to the young woman and peered into her eyes. She was so young, youthful, much like Rhissai, despite the fact that she was approaching the age of sixty one she was nearly fourty five by her people's standards. Though, she guessed her actual age to be around thirty... the Force seemed to increase one's lifetime. She shook her head ever so slightly, throwing off those thoughts like Wrex would throw water off of his back. The woman averted her gaze back up to the young woman before stroking her vornskr's fur ever so lightly.
“Are you ready?”
