A new power (open)

[Antonus]

"Dear why have you lead me to a lifeless world? hmm...I see your point dear...shall we take a walk?"

Antonus exited the transport as it opened it revealed the large rock walls of the canyon. The place seemed so abandoned and lifeless that it almost seemed worthless to walk the planets surface. Antonus walked slowly down the ramp taking a short glimpse of his surroundings. To his left was a cave and a light Illuminating near the far end of it. he walked into the narrow path of the cave. Inside of the cave were markings all over the walls, the sound of water dripping somewhere in the cave echoed in the background.

As he approached the light Antonus noticed two droids standing in the background. They appeared to be combat droids carrying heavy blaster rifles. The light emulating inside the room formed a face and then spoke.

"who goes there?"

"I am known as Antonus and this is Annette," he said as he raised his saber.

"Young one who gave you that saber?"

"Why should I answer you? your nothing."

"Really? Then you shall die!" The combat droids began to move firing at him. Antonus quickly released his saber and deflected each blaster bolt shot at him. The cave began to shake and tons of debris fell from the ceiling. The wall behind the emulating light started to rise and behind it were more combat droids.

Antonus figured his best chance of survival would be to exit the cave and fight them within the canyon. he used force push to knock down the first couple of droids giving him enough time to exit the cave.

Karasu could sense the force within the new arrival. His strange habit of talking to no one had definately intrigued her. He could no doubt sense her too, she had not hidden herself. Though watched from her perch.

Karasu caressed the hilt of her lightsaber and watched as the antagonist destroyed the lifeless hulks of metal as they feebly attempted to strike at him. Her insides writhed with glee at the thought of playing with her new friend. A little giggle escaped her lips as she bent the light about her dissapeared from sight.

[Antonus]

When it came to Fighting the Droids Antonus became Cocky, but he knew the droids were feeble to him. As he danced around the droids he could sense a presence as if someone was watching him. He continued to turn the oncoming droids in to piles of scrap metal.

Antonus sliced the last of the combat droids and all that was left was a large pile of sliced up droids. he then withdrew his light saber placing it at his side. The Illuminating green light had vanished the tunnel was dark. His curiosity to find the presence of the person was great, but to find out what was residing in the cave was far greater. Antonus entered the cave once more walking down the narrow path past the place which the illuminating light had subsided.

Adrenalin began to flow through him as he walked deeper into the cave. there seemed to have been a small amount of light in the back of the cave allowing his dilated pupils to see his surroundings. the path began to spiral downward into another room lay a scroll. Antonus Cautiously walked over to the scroll not knowing what other dangers were in store for him. He grabbed the scroll and gazed at it the scroll had some ancient symbols on it, symbols Antonus could not read or understand.

Antonus began walking out of the cave enraged, he felt as if the trip was a complete waste of time. he stood at the entrance of the cave gazing at the sky above.

Karasu could sense the raw emotion of one who was young, and foolish. A parting gift, the wisdom of the Jedi had taught her. They were indeed a dangerous foe. Yet, not un-avoidable, or invincable. Karasu sensed the energies of many droids being destroyed as the young human dissapeared into the cave.

Silently she watched, and patiently she waited.

When the human returned to the surface his heart was filled with rage. It made quite a delicious morsel to chew on. If all Sith were like this she would enjoy them far more than the Jedi. The corners of her mouth twisted into a sick smile.

Slowly she abandonned her perch and landed silently a short distance away from the human. His gaze seemed fixed upon the heavens. Yet, something within him seemed broken. Karasu silently observed the Human and felt his energies through the force. The part of her that recognized predator or prey was still colating on what exactly this human was.

For now she would play with her new "friend."

[Antonus]

Antonus held his gaze toward the heavens. Annette seemed to have been resting for quite some time now. The presence of that person felt before still existed. Who ever was watching him must of had quite a fascination with what he was doing or what he was going to do. For the moment Antonus let the cool air hit his face as his anger subsided.

The beating of his heart returned to normal and the adrenalin that had created his anger in the first place had faded. Taking a deep breath so that he could respond to the person watching me.

"Do I fascinate you? Does my appearance spark your interest in knowing who I am?" he shouted as he turned to face the unknown.

"Was I being hunted? Was she sent by a family member of Decimus, if so he or she was probably going to be a major threat."

Karasu was getting tired of her little friend. All his wonderful disturbance in the force was dieing slowly. She didn't like that at all. She would have to make him feel it.

Karasu Ignited her lightsaber as she became visible. Her plumage shined with a dull irridecent gray in the clouded Korriban Sun. Offlit by the glow of her red lightsaber. The corners of her mouth around her beak curled in a sickenned smile.

Oh yes, he would feel it.

[Antonus]

Antonus stood in utter silence as he heard the snap-hiss of the Ancient weapon, a figure appeared in the direction he just so happened to be facing. A Female? he clearly saw due to the figure and size of the stranger. Already he had ran into trouble, but then again his whole life has been nothing but trouble things seemed to get more interesting as his life progressed.

"Annette my dear we have a visitor and this one want to hear your song."

Antonus stared at his light saber for a few moments before fixing his eyes back on the stranger. He drew his light saber from it's hilt illuminating a deep purple almost black light on his face as he held the saber in front of him waiting for the womens attack.

"Match Combat"

((1. The first post must begin with the title "Match Combat".
2. No character controlling allowed here.
3. In order to wound your opponent, you must make an attack that your opponent fails to defend against. An example might be if you fired two separate weapons, and their defense only managed to save them from a single one. The other shot would wound them.
4.If there becomes need to determine a victor, which there will often be, the winner of fights of this kind will be determined whenever one player surrenders. This can be done in a number of ways. For instance, one player may run away, not wanting to fight anymore. A player may become wounded or have a hand cut off (it IS Star Wars, after all), this character may then end the fight in any way they see fit, as they are the loser.
5. This style of combat uses the standard turn progression until a battle ends.
6. No character can die in a Match combat unless the players both agree on it.

The ground beneath their feet was dry and cracked. Dust from a gentle breeze whiked its way across the landscape making a soft crackling sound as each tiny grain tapped against the ruinned stone structures.

Intermitent canyons broke the ground creating hazardous pits for any fool enough to fall to their deaths. The occasional morraine lay isolated and alone. Leftovers from one of Korribans long past ice ages.

All about the two combatants, the gentle crackle of the darkside of the force seemed to seep the harsh landscape in its gloomy presence. While the bright sun Horuset glared down upon them from its long arc across the sky. A cold gust of wind caused their loose clothes to flap in its wake.

Each of them stared at the other, sabers ignited and thirsty for power.

[Antonus]

Rain swept the city once again washing away the sins of the night that occurred often on Coruscant Was it the rain that brought about inequity? The wind did seem to howl a foreboding tune, the sound was a warning to all of the dark storm that soon would pass. Only there were no storms, just rain, will it ever end? Of course it would nature itself would see to that, after all mother nature would change the weather to however she saw fit. Then why everywhere I go, it always seems to rain? Just like that day, long long, ago..
Then again, did it rain that day?

Cainan always said that if there is crime during the day to expect Hell at night. Tonight is such a night, it's like the feeling of the calm before the storm, the wringing that can be felt in your heart when you know something bad is going to happen, or worse, happened. The rain, it never fails, why does it always seem to rain? This feeling is all too familiar, like I've played this chapter of my life over and over, am I going insane? There is no way I can achieve my goal if I can't even elucidate myself lucidly. I need to know, is it raining?

A sound broke through the silence and Antonus snapped back into reality all at once, just to find that it wasn't raining at all. 'This doesn't make any sense... I could've sworn...'

Antonus had realized he was still on the dead sith planet with his light saber drawn. He stood there not making a move waiting for his opponent to make her first move. The small breeze turned into a large gust of wind his cloak flowing in the wind, as clouds of dirt flung past him. Anotnus wasn't one to provoke or start a fight unless it was necessary to his cause, but this women felt the need to fight him. He felt a little amused at the fact that another person even took the slightest interest in him even if it were combat.

Karasu laughed insanely and used the force to hide herself again. With the agility of some hidious creature she slunk back to where she came from.

[Antonus]

Antonus Gave off a sigh of relief as his opponent seemed to disappear, he managed to avoid confrontation with the sith. He stood the for a second wondering how he would escape the dead planet. His ship was damaged too much, he had hit the asteroid field on they way here crash landing here. Antonus didn't know what else to expect the planet was filled with darkness and what seemed like limitless power .

He walked back to his ship in hopes he could send a transmission out to someone before Annette awoke. In fact it was strange how she was sleeping all of a sudden now that the conflict at hand was over. he began working on the console 'Red or blue?' he thought to himself. Finally he attached the red wire with a green wire. "Yes" he shouted as the comm link seemed to have been working.

"If anyone can here this transmission please, I'm Antonus and I'm stuck on the world of Korriban..." and he repeated this several times before he sat back in his chair and began to wait.
