The Hunter's Jewel I came to rest in the forbidden arid, rocky plains known as the Flatlands of Darkness. A no man's land that divides the Valley of The Dark Lords from the Valley of Golg. At night, monsterous predators stalk the flats, cooled by Korriban's night air, and slightly luminated by one or more of the moons that orbit the Sith Tombworld.
Ruins of the ancient Sith species, long ago abandoned when the Dark Jedi forced the primitive sentients to flee to Ziost, litter the flats. The ancient remains of Sith natives, the more recent remains of hapless treasure hunters, over curious archeologists, and even dark apprentices also scour the flats.
Few venture the flats during the day, even though the most vicious predators only come out at night. The flats are baked by Korriban's unforgiving sun. The shadows of the ruins offer little shade, and the few rock formations leave little place to aviod the heat.
Not far from a large collection of ruins, the main doors on the Hunter's Jewel I opened. The boarding ramp slid out and downward. Twenty sentients, mostly humans, some Rodians, and some Aqualish, come out of the cargo bay. Gornan, the "Korriban Kollector" leader, comes out last. Then the 21st person, Talgo, comes out.
Talgo turned to four aliens, 'kollectors', and said, "Stay and guard the ship. B3-A3 will pilot the ship to the ruins if we decide to leave quickly."
The aliens walked back into the ship, the doors closing behind them.
"Lets move!", Gornan shouted. The "Korriban Kollectors" and Talgo headed to a large collection of ruins.
