((I'm sure you all can easily see its still in the midst of completion. Normally I would not post a bio before its finished but after looking at how things go here I figure it might be wise to spread the humiliation of my SW ignorance out while finishing. lol So here ya'll go. Have at it))
Name:Logan Erebus
Race: Human
Age: 25
Height:6’1”
Weight:220 lbs
Birth place:Haruun Kal
Appearance: Silken hair of obsidian tops this Jedi warrior’s head, cropped at a medium, almost shaggy length and styled in such a way so as to frame a smooth bronze face of appealing masculinity. Beneath thin black brows eyes the color of frigid ice which can be equally as chilling at times peered out to regard everything before him. These crystalline orbs were marvelously accentuated by both the dark complexion as well as the dark tone of his hair, giving them an appeal that was something akin to luminescence as if they were somehow glowing. Between both begins the straight, narrow nose that rounds up to the slightest curve. Beneath that his pink lips are almost always slightly compressed as if a part of him is very near to annoyance.
The expected Jedi robes adorn his slightly broad shoulders in shades usually consisting of dark brown or even blacks. He has never held much of a liking for the lighter shades of the robes and so avoids all except for those that were died blue. Even when wearing blue though the shade is darker than most would normally wear as his own personal preference leans more toward such hues. These robes conceal a sleek, powerful physique that Logan meticulously maintains through personal training and conditioning. If it’s possible to have not even an ounce of fat upon a person’s body he most certainly has achieved it.

Bio:
Amelia Berelor was first born to a family who had just then immigrated to Felucia. It was there that she spent the first years of her life, but it was never truly her home. She was a restless spirit, dreaming of a new world and the romantic adventures she might find there. At around the age of nineteen, when she was still saving every penny she earned to move off world, it seemed her dreams of the future were coming to fruition. A Korunnese merchant ship landed at the port bearing all manner of imported goods not often found on Felucia. There were two men guarding the merchant and his vessel, brothers in fact, one of them being Aravik Erebus. The very man fate had decided she would quickly fall in love with. During the month he was on her planet they spent a good deal of time together, going out on dates or even just taking leisurely walks. When the time came that he had to leave to journey back to his own home world he asked her to accompany him and, after discussing it with her parents, she did.
They returned to Haruun Kal (for the first time in Amelia’s case)and several months later they were wed. It wasn’t long after that they discovered she was with child. Around nine months after that Logan Eberus was born
From an early age Logan showed great promise to be a Korunnai warrior. He was ambidextrous, naturally as capable with one hand as he was the other. Even more than that he was also fast, incredible so with instantaneous reflexes that snapped through him like bolts of lightning and guided his movements. At age four his father began to train him in the ways of combat, both with weapons and without.
A year later saw Logan immersing himself in the study of the sword. The dance of blades fascinated him, became his primary focus amongst all his studies. At only five he obviously had much to learn about such things but to his credit he showed a great aptitude for it. They rested comfortably within his hands and he practiced a good deal to keep his growing skills sharp. It was during one such training sessions that a Jedi Guardian journeying through the Al’Har system first found him. Fromme Miuv was fascinated by the boy swordsman and watched Logan for a time before venturing out to find his parents.
It was revealed that was force-sensitive much like all of the Korunnai, but more so even then they were accustomed to finding. As Ararik had expected Logan was drawing on the force to assist him in training naturally, but to his surprise though Fromme claimed that he was not using it to augment his speed. The boy was naturally fast, his reflexes razor sharp. The only thing he was using the force for was to increase his level of endurance in order to allow himself to tire more slowly and therefore train longer.
Fromme, a Devaronian who was herself an excellent swordsman, returned to her ship to contact the Jedi Council upon Coruscant. In her transmission to them she explained the traits of the boy, declaring with all certainty that he had excellent potential to become one of the finest swordsman the Jedi Order would ever know. Better even than she. The Council agreed that Logan should be brought in, should his parents allow it and provided he was willing. Fromme ventured back to the Erebus household then, but not before making it clear to the council that she wanted the boy as her apprentice as soon as he came of age.
To beautiful Coruscant they traveled and to the equally majestic Jedi Temple. Fromme could not stay along with him during the course of his training as she had her own missions to attend to and so it fell to others to nurture his gift and teach him the ways. As a Youngling Logan now applied himself to an entirely new study for the next several years. Learning the ways of the sword was a challenging area to apply himself, but learning the same of a lightsaber instead was even more complicated and difficult. He saw it as the greatest test of his skills and was immediately determined to prove himself worthy of becoming a Jedi. Under the tutelage of the Jedi master's at the temple, and even Fromme herself whenever she could find the time to train with him.
Though he showed an interest into the various other saber disciplines used among the Jedi Knights his master's, including Fromme who was a devoted practitioner of Jar'Kai, insisted he first be taught the basics of Shii-Cho, the simplest and most commonly used fighting style of the lightsaber. Logan took in everything they offered, applying it to his own sword play in the hopes that he might one day be a match for her own. It seemed his attunement to the force made him naturally skilled with a lightsaber despite their difficulty to wield due to their lack of blade weight.
During his time at the Temple Logan was seen by many of the other younglings as a rival, someone to be bested someday though none of them ever managed to do so when it came to lightsaber combat. In that regard he proved the best of his class. In fact he outshone them all so greatly that the master's decided to place him into saber training with younglings two or more years his senior. Among children who were farther along in their Shii-Cho than himself Logan's skills flourished even more and again he quickly rose through the class ranks to distinguish himself as the best swordsman.
At age ten Fromme decided to see if Logan possessed any affinity for dual wielding and after a few quick tests she was happy to learn he did. From then on Jar-Kai was permanently added to his training regimen. She announced to the Jedi Council that he was ready to be taken as her padawan later that same day and form then on he and his new master would spar daily using the safer training blades rather than the deadly tools of a Jedi’s trade. Under her guidance he learned quickly the benefits of the dual wielding style if it was applied correctly.
All throughout his apprenticeship Logan had been charged by his Jedi Master to stay with the ship whenever she went out on missions as he was too young to accompany her and she was unwilling to risk his life foolishly. During those times he would continue practicing his combat forms alone. Not only that but he would spend time meditating as well, tuning himself to the Force so that, when the time came, he would be ready to assist his Master wherever she needed him.
Finally, on his fifteenth birthday, his preparation was finally on the verge of being truly tested when Fromme announced he would be accompanying her on this one and offering insight wherever she asked. According to her it was high time he got some experience under his belt and, after years of being held back from such experiences, Logan was more than ready to rise to the newest of challenges. They went to Felucia, his mother’s home planet, a world he had never been on, and there they ventured out into the sprawling wilderness. They encountered only mild resistance for the most part and that consisting mostly of wild creatures which roamed the lands. The Felucian Rippers were especially annoying, swooping down at them from atop the forest canopy or leaping out of shallow waters with razor sharp teeth leading the way. They even had the misfortune to run into a Rancor, a creature he would forever come to respect as among the most intimidating of beasts in the galaxy. Luckily they managed to escape it’s might without direct confrontation as killing it would have been a headache even for a Jedi Guardian and her apprentice.
They made their way deeper into the forests of Felucia, encountering various other natives who all seemed content to let them be about their business. The deeper they got the more that disturbance in the force that had drawn the Master’s attention from Coruscant seemed to grow and with it the wildlife until even the creatures who resided in the area, Felucian’s included, seemed to be twisted by whatever dark power was at work. Eventually that trail lead them to a cave where a pair of dark Jedi were spreading their ‘taint’ into the world around them. This was Logan’s first encounter with the opposite side of the force, the enemies of those he had sided with.
It was a lucky break for them that the Dark Jedi that resided in that cave had only his own apprentice with him. Had it been a pair of full fledged Jedi Logan would have stood little chance of survival and the years spent training and molding him into a master of lightsaber combat as well as Force application to battle would have been for nothing. They faced off master to master, padawan to padawan. His very first real battle with a lightsaber also proved the first time for several other things as well, however. First of which being the sight of Fromme in true combat as she drew both of her sabers and blurred through the complex attacks and parries that was Jar-Kai. He witnessed what it meant to be a true master of the style and to say it was humbling in every way despite his quick progress.
Second of these firsts that he was to experience on this fateful day was the saber combat style of Ataru. The fast paced, aggressive, and acrobatic style he had never before been privileged to see until he faced the apprentice to the Dark Jedi his master was, even then, combating. It was a daunting thing, trying to defend against so powerful and seemingly wild a style as Ataru, but using the Shii-Cho Logan managed to best his opponent who was not as skilled in the aggressive form as she had believed. Both the Apprentice and the Dark Jedi were bested, the latter losing his life to Fromme’s weaving sabers. The apprentice yet lived though she would need a robotic hand to replace the one she had lost in the duel against Logan. They took her into custody and delivered her to the Temple on Coruscant where she could be given the chance to follow the Jedi path rather than that of the Dark.
From that day on Logan showed a great interest in the Ataru discipline but, since his master was not among the practitioners of the style other measures had to be taken in order to ensure he could learn it. They returned to Coruscant and, with the council's permission, acquired a simulacrum training program that would pit the young padawan against one of two Jedi master's from the Mandalorian War who practiced Ataru. First was Jedi Master Kavar who served on the High Council during the Mandalorian Wars and died on Dantooine around 3,951 BBY. The second was Vandar Tokare who was not only a holder of a seat on the High Council during the same war in Kavar’s time, but head of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine as well.
With that training program he would be able to learn everything there was to know about Ataru and, just like with Jar’Kai, his already considerably advanced training regimen now consisted of that as well.
(In the Order they occurred)
This first trial was completed at the age of eighteen. Though many would not consider this to be a defining achievement as there were a number of Padawans who were submitted to trials at the temple at that age the fact that his trial was passed not by facing a hologram within the temple but while on a mission with his master against real enemies was an accomplishment the Master’s praised. Logan was an well on his way to mastering both Shii-Cho and Jar’Kai by then and his abilities with Ataru were close behind them. In fact Fromme had also added Soretsu to his training by that time as he was already progressing so rapidly through the other three she deemed him capable of a fourth.
He and his master were sent to Umgul where it was rumored a group of Dark Jedi were utilizing their affinity with the force to successfully gamble their way into a sizeable fortune while pursuing others for their cause. Their orders were to stop the group from obtaining and corrupting any more souls then they already had with their prolonged presence there. As always they were expected to use their judgment to decide by what means they could possibly do so.
A quick investigation after arriving onto the planet revealed that the group was larger than anticipated and they were in fact outnumbered four to one. Luckily they were able to keep their presence concealed during the majority of their stay there and managed to take Several of the Dark Jedi by surprise, capturing them without a fight. Luck could only keep a person safe for so long, however, and eventually they were found out and were forced to switch from stealthy ambushes to open combat. Thankfully there were only four of them by then rather than the original eight or they would not have had any hope of surviving. As it was they were forced to engage two to one which still weren’t the best odds, but it was still a hell of a lot better than four to one.
Logan was not so lucky this time as to face only Apprentices. This proved to be his first true test against the skills of a Dark Jedi Knight, Assassin class. The other, at least, was still a learning Acolyte so it was not as if he were doomed to fail. Since Fromme was engaged in a heated confrontation with a second Assassin and a Marauder besides he could not rely on her to back him up. Confident in his skills both with his lightsabers and the force he engaged his enemies without fear, trusting in the Force to guide his movements and steer him toward victory.
Had he not been blessed with a remarkable gift for swordsmanship it is a wonder if he would have survived the confrontation. With his extensive knowledge and capabilities in Jar’Kai however he was able to defend himself from both of the Dark Jedi’s weapons and even managed to slip in attacks here and there just to keep them off guard. Fromme, a woman of a great deal more experience in fighting more than one opponent at a time, proved more efficient than he did and was able to dispatch both of her opponents even before he managed to take down one. She was just about to rush in to aid him when he switched his tactic and tried something entirely new, something not even she had seen from him during their years of training together.
Without warning Logan’s movement’s flowed from the intricate weavings of Jar’Kai to the spinning, high speed forms of Ataru. That stopped Fromme in her tracks and she witnessed his already incredible speed increase even more as he grew more focused. The Two Dark Jedi facing him were both taken by surprise in the sudden change in tactics. They didn’t stand a chance of properly defending themselves and both died within seconds. But not before the Devaronian was allowed a glimpse of what her Padawan was truly capable of. To say that she was proud of her pupil would have been an understatement to say the least.
Later, as she reported to the council his passing of the trial of skill she would describe those few moments at the end of his struggle as “movement at such a high velocity it was as if her were in a sphere of blue and green.” She then went on to admit that she had had some difficulty in tracking his lightsabers during the moments but believed that, though he was moving as if in Ataru, he had still been using Jar’Kai techniques in that he was both defending and attacking at the same time.
A little over a year later found Logan and his master en-route to assist a civilian transport vessel that had ventured a little too close to Mandalorian space and was now being besieged by war ships. At the time Logan and his master were passing near to Concord Dawn and were tasked with trying to begin negotiating a ceasefire while Republic ships were dispatched to liberate the people stranded aboard. Intel placed a member of the senate aboard the vessel who had been hoping to avoid the possibility of assassin’s by taking the common form of transport.
The two Jedi arrived and immediately requested a cease fire while negotiations were made for the lives of those on board. The Mandalorian’s, though holding little love for the Jedi even three hundred years after the war, were agreeable enough. Provided a ransom be paid for the passenger’s lives they would be spared. If not the commanding officer promised that the ship would be destroyed along with anyone inside. Fromme knew that once the other ships arrived all hell would break loose and it was possible the vessel would be destroyed. She managed to convince the officer in charge allow one of them to venture aboard to see the hostages themselves and to release one as a measure of good faith. They agreed, but only if it was the apprentice who came.
Logan came aboard the transport vessel then and, under armed escort, moved about the ship to inspect the prisoners. The senator was found soon after arrival and, with a little gentle Jedi persuasion, the Mandalorian’s were convinced that the aging man was more trouble than he was worth and were more than willing to make him the agreed upon freed hostage. There was still the inspection of the rest of the hostages, however, and so while the Senator was being loaded onto the small transport shuttle to be taken back to his master’s ship, the nineteen years old ventured deeper into the vessel to continue his inspection.
Nothing could have ever prepared him for the sight of both his mother and father amongst the hostages. In the fourteen years since he had left them to become a Jedi he had seen them only once and that was only possible because a mission had taken he and his master to Haruun Kal, his home world. They had kept in touch of course through transmissions and such, a practiced which was considered somewhat questionable among the Order given the fact that such ties were expected to be severed. They had been on their way to Coruscant to surprise him with a visit and now they were stuck on what could soon turn into a floating death trap in space.
It took every once of discipline he had learned over the years to refrain from moving toward them and singling them out as people of importance at least to him. With his escort watching every move he made he was powerless to help them at the moment, a feeling he had never truly experienced until that moment. That did not stop him from giving what he could of course, and so he promised everyone that their ordeal would be over soon and they’d be escorted safely to Coruscant.
Shortly after returning to Fromme’s ship with a very thankful Senator tow the other vessel’s arrived and, to Logan’s horror, started firing upon the Mandalorian vessels. The war ships in turn fired everything they had aimed at the transport vessel before turning their attention to the enemy. Logan was forced to watch from a window as the ship his parents were being held against their will was ripped to shreds by missile barrages. He could not help them, could do nothing to save them. In this his skills with the lightsaber were meaningless, useless. A sense of failure closed in, his own words echoing within his mind. He had promised them… He had promised them all.
For the aspiring Padawan hopelessness was an alien feeling, something he had never once experienced in all his life and many adventures alongside his master. Always his skills with his saber’s and his knowledge with the force had lead him to victory but in those moments neither could have saved his parents and the many other hostages who died alongside them. Logan withdrew for a time after the ordeal, growing uncharacteristically silent as he struggled with his own sense of failure. Fromme did her best to provide support but she felt she could not truly guide him through his feelings, that he would have to find his own way.
Thankfully Logan did. He realized at last that no one, no matter their level of strength of skill, could always win. No one could save everyone. Though he had wanted more than anything to rescue everyone aboard that demolished vessel he was in no position to do so. A Jedi had to accept this, and with that newfound understanding of his own limitations he was able to come to terms with his parent’s death and his failure to protect them.
Logan and Master Fromme find themselves journeying to the Night Planet Nivek, home of the fierce Shadowmen. Officially it was a neutral planet but the natives had always seemed a little less than sympathetic with the republic and those who served in its cause. Granted, they did not launch themselves at the two Jedi wildly. Mostly it seemed their presence on the planet was ignored and, so long as they did not give them any reason to act, the shadowmen were apparently content to leave them alone. It would turn out that as a good thing as their mission would prove near impossible enough as it was.
About a galactic standard week before another Jedi, Fromme’s former master to be exact, had been dispatched there along with two other Knights and their padawans to investigate a ‘tremor’ in the Force. The last transmission received from them was a brief confirmation that they had touched down. After that it was as if they had disappeared and with no trace or clue as to their whereabouts even from the Force. In their concern they contacted Fromme and her young but skilled apprentice and the two accepted the task of seeking out the missing Jedi.
The ship responsible for bringing the first group to the planet was easily found exactly where last reports had said it would be. They touched down right beside it and moved to search the vessel immediately. No one was found and by all signs there had not been a struggle either. That ruled out being besieged or kidnapped. Or at least it partially did as they could have just as easily been snatched away off ship while exploring as well. As they began searching through the files and databanks on ship that conclusion seemed much more likely when they found an audio log recorded by Master Bravos Archta that told of a vast network of underground caverns and tunnels that had not been on any maps they carried with them. According to the recording the ‘termor’ that was felt from the Council originated from somewhere down there and they planned on going to check it out. It seemed that was where the two new arrival’s would have to go as well for the log proved their only lead. Somewhere down in the maze of tunnels the other Jedi were bound to show up.
Only a single bridge closed the gap between sides, a primitive design of wood and ropes that didn’t look sturdy enough to hold the weight of twp people at once. The pair had little time to question who it was that had gone through the trouble of making this place into some kind of underground facility and in fact that question was answered for them anyway as two of those doors whooshed open to admit Dark Jedi. They looked just as shocked to see them as he and his master were but shock only lasts so long before lightsabers are ignited and that dance of death begins. Only two had emerged from the door on their side, but three more were across the bridge from them with one already charging over to fight. Logan moved to meet that one, trusting his master was capable of handling the other two on her own.
The battle upon the rickety bridge, though short lived, was no easy task given the way it swayed and bucked under their quickly shifting feet. There were also the ropes to consider as a lightsaber’s blade would sheer through them without the slightest bit of difficulty. They need only to come into contact with one another and suddenly those upon it would find themselves in a dire situation with little options of escape. Luckily he was able to best the Marauder without damaging anything and continued toward the next side toward the other to Dark Jedi Knights. They apparently had no compunctions with treachery, however, for when they ignited their lightsabers their attention focused onto the ropes of the bridge that could be easily replaced.
Logan was a little over halfway across by then and saw their intent. He managed to leap just in time from that bridge and toward the edge of the chasm. Even halfway across he barely managed to make it to the side, smashing into the rough hewn edge

The Trials
(In the Order they occurred)
Trial of Skill
The Trial Of Flesh
The Trials of Courage and Spirit
