Bio:
RaeLynn's fate had started to work against her even before the time of her birth. Her father had double-crossed two smugglers in an attempt to make a larger profit. It didn't work and he found himself the subject of persecution, death threats, and murder attempts. He narrowly avoided death several times before he finally realized that he could no longer stay on Coruscant. With a heavy heart and light baggage, he hurried himself and his three month pregnant wife off of the planet. It would be a long time before they felt safe.
After another few months of moving from planet to planet, Dariel Mariod settled his family on Rishi. They hid in one of the uninhabited valleys of the planet for the time being. His wife, Lorenne, gave birth several months later to RaeLynn, but died the next day from a mixture of weakness and a viral infection due to a simple cut on her arm that had been exposed. Her birth name was not RaeLynn, but Marisia Mariod. Dariel burried his wife and moved on with his daughter. RaeLynn, bundled in a blanket, slept as her father moved them once more.
It was three months later that her fate had once again been changed of her father's accord. Another immigrant to the planet which RaeLynn's father had become known to had rushed over to where they had settled to warn him of bounty hunters. They had finally caught up to their planet. Dariel packed up in a frenzy and raced to the small ship they had used to get around. He took off a moment later, small RaeLynn crying as she flew away. Frantic to find a place that he would not be found, he flew into the Felucia system and landed upon the planet Felucia. The environment was a chaotic one and hardly safe for Dariel and RaeLynn. For the moment, it was all he could do to save them. At least, for the time being.
Two weeks later, Dariel ventured just outside of the ship only to find himself face to face with a bounty hunter. With a strangled cry for help and a final attempt to get away, he was knocked out and taken away. RaeLynn let out a cry from inside the ship, left alone in the wilderness of Felucia. Her cries startled the surrounding natives and they informed a person of respect in their society: Runa Larista. Runa, a descendant of a Jedi formerly helping the planet, had learned the ways of the force from her family and gained an old set of tonfa-wielded sabers. Hearing from the Felucians of the child, she made her way to the ship.
RaeLynn was found in the back of the ship, hidden in a bundle of blankets and sobbing. Her small brown eyes were filled with tears as Runa picked her up, examining the young child. A small smile came to Runa's face as she murmured to RaeLynn.
"Don't worry, child. You'll be safe with me. As for a name?" Runa paused a moment, pondering a good name for the baby. She smiled again, whispering in her ear. "RaeLynn."
RaeLynn grew up on the planet of Felucia, training in the ways of the force thanks to Runa's council since the age of nine. Runa focused on teaching her the lightsaber form of Shii-Cho, but led her slowly into the Niman form starting at the age of fifteen. It wasn't a huge lesson, but they would add in small parts of Niman to her training. By the age of eighteen, she had grown strong in both Shii-Cho and Niman, the latter of the two progressing just slightly into Jar'Kai by the age of nineteen. When not training with Runa, RaeLynn would spend her hours meditating and reinforcing her Force powers. Within the years that she had spent with Runa and the natives of Felucia, she gained a spirit that embodied itself in the abilities that she found came naturally to her. Her ability to talk to animals progressed slowly, only fully manifesting itself when she was nineteen. Talking to the slugs of the lower caves of Felucia came first, any other animal far to dangerous to even become near to. She kept this up until she could carry out full conversations with them without a problem. This step along took her two years. RaeLynn also conversed with some lesser animals that had a low agression mentality until she found herself face to face with a very mad Rancor and her back against a wall. Whispering pleadingly to the creature, she found that it slowly lost its rage until she was able to place her hand upon its face without a problem. Several other times she tamed the Rancors, just testing out her power to plead with perplexing animals.
Plant Surge had been an ability that RaeLynn hadn't even noticed she had begun to build up. She would whisper to flowers, the petals and stems growing stronger, larger, and more beautiful with each passing second. They also seemed to be affected by her moods such as sadness, in which the flowers dwindled into depression, and happiness, where the flowers seemed to burst with color and fragrence. When Runa noticed of the ability developing, she encouraged the girl to focus upon it and command the nature around her. By the age of seventeen, five years after she noticed the remarkable power, she was able to command vines to break through the earth and ensnare anything in sight within seconds, crushing the captured object if need be or simply bringing it forth. The roots and vines would wrap around her and protect her from any harm within a moment's notice.
The last of her abilities had been forever ingrained in her mind as she would watch Runa disappear before her very eyes. Force Cloak had always entranced her. The very thought of being able to vanish had been so enthralling that she had insisted, even from the age of ten, to learn it. Runa had simply refused to do so until she saw fit. That time wouldn't come until many years later. Runa had finally agreed to teach RaeLynn Force Cloak when she was sixteen and stronger in the Force then she had been the six years before. RaeLynn would often flicker in and out of focus while practicing, her build up of the Force around her not as complete as it should be. It took her another four years to get a hold on the ability, her body looking vague before she went out of sight altogether. After that point, it was only a matter of fine-tuning the details of the ability.
After all of the time training with Runa, she would often be sent on small missions about the planet to care of tribal disputes or help to right an action made by a small comittee of Felucian chiefs. On one such night, she found herself in a Felucian camp only to see two other people approach from the shadows. She herself, not fully in the camp, watched silently. One of them was a Togruta female and the other a human female. By the looks of them, RaeLynn had predicted that they were Jedi. Her thoughts were confirmed as the Togruta turned and beckoned her forward. She stepped up without a thought.
The Togruta was a Jedi Knight by the name of Taari Sfuu. Her apprentice was Larasa Nuuto. After talking to the Felucian villagers and the other Jedi for some time, she led the two visitors to meet Runa. Her master had been wary at first, but grew to trust the two Jedi and generally enjoy their company. Taari Sfuu offered to take them back to Coruscant in order to upgrade their ranks and further RaeLynn's training, but Runa declined on her own part. She did, however, insist that RaeLynn be taken to the Jedi Temple to learn more then she herself could ever teach the girl. RaeLynn parted ways with Runa, thanking her deeply for all she had done to nurture her into ther person she was. It was to be the last time they would see each other.
RaeLynn entered the Jedi Temple of Coruscant apprehensively. she had never known a society with buildings such as the ones that were mounted on the planet and hadn't even thought of so many species living in harmony. Her mind spun in circles trying to grasp the life about her. It was three days later that the Jedi High Council had requested a meeting with her. Within the short time they had spoken, the Council had agreed to continue her training with another Jedi by the name of Unis Aroona. He was a Chalactan that had served with the Jedi for countless years, his hair starting to shift to a grey from its normal sandy brown. Unis guided her through lightsaber training, strengthening her talents and furthering her practices. She, equipped with her new dual lightsabers, had become far more capable of battle through the techniques that Unis was strengthening. RaeLynn, though more agressive in battle, was still as meditative as she had been in the years before. She learned to expand her horizons as the years passed. It was when she was twenty four that she was struck with another challenge.
Unis and RaeLynn had been asked to go on a mission. The mission was a dire one that extended to the Wild Space region and was not one for the weak of heart, mind, or body. Glancing at eachother for only a moment, the two agreed to take it on. Their mission took them to an unnamed planet. On the planet stood a lone figure, a Dark Jedi by the name of Jaharu Silo. Jaharu, a strong and unpredictable opponent, had the upperhand despite the numbers. In the course of the battle, Unis was stunned and stabbed, his eyes flickering to RaeLynn as he slumped to the ground.
RaeLynn, shocked at the sudden fall of her comrad, didn't let it get to her for the moment. She had to complete the mission that she had been assigned to. Continuing to fight the adept Dark Jedi, she found herself almost unsure of herself. Upon this thought, she shook herself out of the trance and battled on. Jaharu Silo was shocked to find a lightsaber through his heart due to a parry on a move he had made. He, like Unis, fell to the ground. RaeLynn dropped her sabers and ran, struggling to find her way through the thick black forest that surrounded her. She hid within it for days, pondering that had happened and meditating once more. During her meditation, it almost seemed as if she saw what was to happen to her if she continued to wallow in self pity and grief.
RaeLynn emerged from the trees, her head held high as she retrieved her lightsabers and secured them to her belt. She would not give in. Carrying the body of Unis back aboard the ship they had flown in, she realized that she had made the right choice. The Light Side was for her, the Darkness holding no hope.
The Jedi received her with open arms, welcoming her home and holding a proper burial for Unis immediately. They informed her several days later that Unis had put in for her to take the trials mere days before. One of the Jedi smiled as he told her the news.
"You, young woman, have dealt with the pain and difficulties of the Trials," he told her. His smile grew warmer. "You pass."
RaeLynn was shocked and excited, but humble as she gave them all her thanks. She was Knighted the next day as a Guardian Jedi Knight. Her skills with a lightsaber only slightly outmatched that of her connection with the Force. She continued her meditations and expansion of skills, but tended to be able to fight far better than she had at a younger age. Her kind and gentle nature stayed in touch with her even as she fought. RaeLynn was very patient with attacks, waiting for the right moments to attack. She wasn't reckless, but thought through everything through as it happened around her. RaeLynn had come full circle in herself, finding a balance that she could rely on and a life she would strive to succeed at.
Lightsaber: Two dual-phased lightsabers with curved hilts. Inside each are three crystals fused together to create a strong saber. The crystal core consists of a Kasha crystal, stimulation meditation and focus, a Rubat crystal, which sharpened the appearance of the blade and sped up attack, and a Ruusan crystal, not augmenting the blade itself, but the Jedi's focus with the Force. The lightsabers, through intensive construction and focus, gained a silvery blue shade.

Coruscant. A place that was home to billions of people. They worked, they played, they fought, they forgave. It was the never ending cycle that was life. Everyone participated in it whether or not they really recognized so. Day went to night and night went to day. Everything continued on its way.
RaeLynn sat within the enclosed space of her room. The lights were out and the door locked shut. She sat with her legs crossed in the middle of her room. Her mind was completely concentrated. It was attuned to everything and nothing at the same time, at complete peace in the havoc that surrounded her. Her eyes fluttered open as a knock resounded through the room. Rising slowly, she walked swiftly to the door, unlocked the three locks adorning it, and turned the handle. The door creaked open slightly, echoing once more throughout her room before the air around her was still once more.
Looking before her, RaeLynn saw nothing. She heard a small clearing of a throat from just below where her vision stopped. A young boy stood in the door, his eyes glittering just slightly. The energy and life of a youngling never ceased to make her heart swell in adoration. They all had so much to live for and she knew that they were willing only to help others as they grew older and wiser.
"RaeLynn?" the boy questioned, looking up at her face. So innocent looking, she realized. Just as delicate as the flowers back on Felucia.
"Yes, Danu?" she replied, shifting down to her knee so she could look him in the eye. He blinked at her a minute before he continued.
"RaeLynn, Shunii wants to see you," he told her, blinking once more. RaeLynn nodded her head lightly, turning to grab her cloak before heading out the door. She shut it behind her as she stepped out, the youngling stepping further into the corridor. Danu stood there a moment, looking at her again.
RaeLynn looked back, saw in him the life ahead. He looked like a smart boy with a good head on his shoulders, but strong. Danu wouldn't misuse his powers. He was to be great. Not pigheaded or selfloving, but diplomatic and centered. She knew he was going to make a good Apprentice someday.
Making a small noise somewhat like a laugh, RaeLynn ushered the boy forward. "Oh please, Danu. Do lead the way," she said, her voice filling the halls lightly with sound. Their feet, her larger more spaced steps and his small ones rushing ahead, was no distraction for her focus. She walked, as aware of everything and nothing as she had been only moments before. Her head held high, she walked. It was as if she was being led to a sentencing, only of a good kind. Still she walked, letting the young boy wave her forward and turn swiftly until she couldn't see him, only for him to reappear a moment later. Danu stopped, pointing at one of the doors.
"Thank you, Danu."
The young boy bowed slightly before rushing away, no doubt to be with his friends or slide into a lesson. RaeLynn let out a small sigh, turning her back to the way she had come and stepping forward to the door as it slid open.
"Ahh, RaeLynn," greeted Shunii, smiling widely at her. RaeLynn smiled in return to the elder Togruta woman. She knew what was to come next.
"I would like to speak to you about an Apprentice," Shunii continued, confirming RaeLynn's prediction.
RaeLynn, unlike some others, knew that she was caught within the never ending cycle that was life.
