Also he wears a medium length untidy beard which he has been known to shave from time to time but normally its of a medium length. Also he has dull blue eyes which are normally spaced and placed for a human.
Birth place: Dantooine
Faction: Jedi
Rank: Knight - Consulor
Bio: Duros was born on Dantooine but remembers little of his youth before the Jedi Academy, although he has vague memories of riding across the green fields on some kind of animal as a young boy. He was around two years old when he was taken. During his years as a youngling he excelled with the force, his abilities with a Lightsaber where less than perfect and he was often beaten by others in sparing sessions. However with his knowledge of the force he deemed it a high probability that he would be chosen by a Knight/Master as an apprentice. His hopes slowly declined as he grew older and it was only when he turned twelve did he finally find a Knight who would take him, His name was Luca. Ironically he had been selected after he had lost a duel to another apprentice in a Lightsaber duel but the Knight decided to train him anyway.
Later Duros came to the rather narcissistic conclusion was that because of his strong ties to the force the other masters wouldn’t have risked his training. Much of his early training with his Master was aimed at the perfection of the Shii-Cho, since the Lightsaber was the Jedi’s main tool his Master drilled this into his constantly. Often under painful retinues and long hours did this form become natural to him. He had to rely heavily on his connection to the force for motivation during those days but came to understand why it was needed in later life.
There first mission together was a border dispute on one of the smaller outer-rim planets where a hired group had managed to batter the local government into submission over land rights to the farmland. The mission was successful and there was no need for violence and here Duros learned much of diplomacy. They went on many missions together. At the age of fifteen there missions became more Sith Orientated, aiming at the gathering of intelligence about sith forces. It was here that Duro’s showed high levels of intelligence.
His ability to coordinate with contacts on the inside and think two steps ahead of Sith battle commanders. Allowing him to outsmart the battalion of Sith Troopers sent after them when it was discovered they where in wild space. His main victory here was when he managed to lead the Battalion into a trap. When they gave chase to him and his master Duros lead them into a gorge. Using the force he dropped heavy rocks in-between the battalion killing a few and separating there long ranged communications team along with a squad of Sith troopers these where dispatched quickly and for a limited time they had almost full access to all short wave communications of the Battalion, with this information they managed to sneak into the Battalions forward operations base and destroy it.
After that and nothing major happened until he turned seventeen. It was on a seemingly harmless trade rights mission to one of the outer-rims new colonies when they were captured by Mercenaries who had been hired to make sure that the trade rights where given to the rival faction. Here was when he faced the true test of the Jedi when he escaped. He had the chance to slaughter all of these Mercenaries and save his Jedi Master with ease, instead he decided to distract the guards, his plan was simple but effective he would sneak aboard the Mercenaries ship and destroy its hyper-drive, using more of an explosion than was necessary he distracted the Mercenaries and rescued his Master, however the explosion caused him great harm as he needed to be close to the hyper drive in order to initiate the explosion. It was after this that his Master decided to further his knowledge and train him in the style of Soresu. Duros was more adapted to his style but still had difficulties in learning it; again he relied heavily on the force to help him full through the many training sessions in order to perfect this technique.
At the age of twenty-two was when it finally happened, he was brought before the council, to his knowledge for a report on their last mission which had involved a minor duel with a warrior who seemed adapt in sword fighting and who’s sword refused to be cut by his Lightsaber. Instead he was Knighted a Jedi Knight of the Republic. His master had informed him afterwards that his Trail Of Skill had been completed when he had beaten the sword-wielding man on there last mission. His trail of the Flesh was when he had suffered the pain of the Hyper drive explosion while saving his master when they had been caught by Mercenaries. His trail of Courage had been when he defeated the Battalion of Sith Troopers. His Trail of spirit he had known he had complete because when he had constructed his lightsaber on Ilum he had a Vision of a Dark Jedi, who told him to Join the Dark side. Duro's defeated him but through the Visions ramblings about the strictness of The Jedi Order and there inability to allow there students to see a wider view of the force he realized that these where the deep thoughts of his own mind. But now, he was a Jedi Knight...
Suddenly he was granted so much more freedom with his own training and set about to learn more of the force. He meditated for hours upon end listening to it and seeking its guidance and although he was no-longer a Padawan he still sought assistance from whoever he could. He learn of the ways of the force and become powerful in many of its aspects, he could levitate many heavy objects with his mind and over the years learned many of the healing and protection techniques that the Jedi used. More powerful than his ability to move things with his mind was his ability to affect the minds of others to insert great pressure or feel the emotions and feelings of another. It was this that he focused on during his long hours of meditation, searching within himself the feelings and emotions and of those around him. He was commended at the age of twenty five of begin strong with the force, but was frustrated by his Masters insistence that he had much to learn.
It wasn’t until he was sent to bring back a Rouge Jedi did he really learn this lesson, he had explicitly asked for this assignment and was confident he would be able to subdue this Rouge Jedi and bring him back. He found him on a mining station just past the Inner Rim planets. There they duelled this Rouge Jedi, however the Rouge’s Lightsaber skill was far superior to Duros’s and he only managed to fight back by using his extensive knowledge of the force to protect himself and using his superior intelligence to select the ground on which they fought. He chose to use the inner tunnels of the mining facility as it allowed him to easier defend again the Rouge Jedi’s over zealous attacks. But it wasn’t enough and the Rouge Jedi destroyed Duros’s Lightsaber, it was then when Duro’s unleased a heavy pressure on his opponents mind with the force, but his skill with this as a weapon was poor and unrefined resulting instead in the death of the Rouge Jedi
Dishearten by his defeat and the displeasure and scolding of the council he retreated back to his meditations for almost a month before deciding to take an offer by another Knight who was a Guardian and adapt in all manner of Lightsaber forms. Hating that he was to be felt pity for he had first declined this offer but after swallowing his pride he took the offer.
The Guardian told him they should focus on Shien, as its all round perfect defence was a perfect match in order to hold the enemy at bay while he concentrated on beating them back with his force powers. Duros became adapt at this form rather quickly his determination almost too much at some points. But his real challenge came when he was called upon to combined both the form and the force. At first he found this hard, it was hard to concentrate on the movements and call upon the force at the same time, but he persisted and finally he managed to combine these together. Happy with his progress he retreated back into his meditation chambers to future study the force and its secrets. In these long hours he tends to let his mind drift from time to time until he finds himself focusing on galactic politics and the rise of the Sith threat, trying to predict there moves, to which most of the time he is correct or at least very close to the answer. But he is haunted by the words of his Masters. “You still have much to learn...”

RP Sample: The rain fell heavily upon Duro’s brown robe; the smell in the air was fresh and full of life as the rain continued to pound on the already soddened ground. He had his eyes closed as his hands out from his body pointing to either side but at an angle of about forty-five degree’s. His palms where opened out and caught what little rain didn’t bounce off of them. He felt the force all around him, it was almost as if it was a clear orange sky above and one of the sun’s rays where beating down upon his face, that’s how the force felt like to him standing there in its powerful presence. But he let his hands drop back down to his sides slowly as he extended his mind out into all the living things around him searching and listening to the sound and will of the Force. He followed a single movement for a few seconds, and then another as each movement streamed past his closed eyes like a river.
Then his movements where quick and agile, his Lightsaber was already in his hand by the time he had swung it around with his body to face the dull Red glow and hum which was stopped inches from his face by his own blue blade. The face of his attacker was covered by a blackened mask of which’s surface swirled slightly like a polish black rock in a quarry of stone. The duel started his sabre swingingly effortlessly through the air as he let the force guide his movements which sharpened his otherwise slower human reflexes. Each time the blades struck there was the familiar crack of sabre on sabre. It was obvious the Red Sabre’s wielder was the better swordsman. But for each inch the attacker seemed to gain he was distracted by each a pressure within his skull or an object flying from behind the curtain of rain, which seemed to fall even heavier upon him. Duro’s kept his relentless attack with the force up.
And as his enemy tired and weakened, Duros Struck. Switching back to the offensive he attacked his attacker with the force and his sabre ruthlessly aiming to subdue his opponent until finally he did, noticing an opening in his attacker’s pose he struck with his sabre and cut of the hand holding the Lightsaber before pushing him down to his knee’s before him with the force. “I shall take you before the council to pay for your crimes.... Luca.
(Note: This isn’t part of his history I just thought it’d be cool if his old Master was defeated in my role-play sample)
