Biography:
Keller started life bathed in combat and war. As Echani tradition, he was raised to be a skilled fighter. He learned the Echani famed martial art of the warrior class.
Much like the Mandalorians, he was raised to be a grueling fighter. Though, being Echani, he favored skill and finesse over brunt force. At the age of 13, already a skilled warrior in hand to hand and vibro sword, he joined the Naval academy.
As a marine he learned the skill and powers of ranged weapons such as baster pistols and rifles. He showed immediate proficiency though he heavily preferred close ranged attacks.
Keller adopted a life maxim: Fight First, ask questions Later. This tactic he would use for the remaining years of his life. Unrelenting, Keller and his batallion withstood barrage after barrage from the Mandalorians during the Second battle of Duxun.
His team found with no chain of command when their Jedi Generals deserted them figuring their task "short of importance to victory." When their General was slain, Keller took up command.
Though left to their own devices, Keller abanded their space outfit and dug into the Duxun turf to withstand the enemy. After weeks of fierce fighting, Keller lead a covert mission to the heart of the Mandalorian camp.
They commandeered the Mandalorian Basilisk war droids and overrun the camp. Their victory released pressure on the main Republic campaign and assured a swift victory.
Keller was promoted time and again through his service as Commander in the Republic Navy. Even, as some might speculate, winning the approval of their Jedi Generals. Though Keller did not often agree with many of the military leader's unyielding pressure on the task at hand, he did learn much from them in leadership and authority.
Now the Galaxy sits at the brink of war with the Mandalorians and Sith alike, many wonder now the hardened Echani will respond to a second rising of a race that slaughtered his brothers in arms and still founds the cause of his nightmares.
