Bio:
Tol was born on Ziost before the Aristocrats came to power and formed the current incantation of the Sith Empire. He was born to a long line of men that served in the defense forces of Ziost. His mother was around for all his childhood, but his father was his main influence. His father made it very clear that he wanted his son to follow in his foot steps.. When his father was not on duty he would take his son out into the wilds camping and spending time with his son. Wild areas were not in short supply since Tol’s family moved around to military bases across Ziost from the hottest desert to the coldest Tundra.
It was the moving that cut Tol off from many of the other children his age. What was always with him was schooling. To fill in the blank spot in his life that his few friends left he threw himself into his studies. He was not very strong at math, which limited his love of the sciences. What he did love however were humanities. History he particularly found history and geography to suit his interests. His father encouraged these interests since they would help Tol take up his families trade, the military.
When he was the appropriate age like all the men of his family he attended the officer training academy for the Ziost defense force. He was never sure if it was because he actually wanted to join the military or if it was all he knew. He spent two years learning the tools of his trade. He did not perform strong in Math again and physics he barely passed on the skin of his teeth. He did excel on the physical side of courses being on the best. It was History courses and Geography that saved his rear at the academy. He also proved himself one of the most capable leaders in the group. He graduated fourth in his class mostly because of his strength of leadership and his knowledge of military history. This all happened five years before Ziost joined the new Sith Empire under the Aristocrats. He looked to have a bright future.
He was assinged to be second in command of a remote listening post at the edges of Ziost system. This was in a different time with pirates raiding many major systems. on his first tour of duty a pirate fleet set there sites on Ziot itself. The carried out a protracted campaign on the outer defenses of Ziost. When they attacked his listening post he his commander and his unit defended it against overwhelming enemy force. He was given a commendation and promoted. He found himself in the prestigious rapid reaction forces that made use of the best equipment available.
He became involved in the series of battles that followed his first taste of battle. He quickly put on ranks due to his skill riding to become Colonel of the 12th Ziost Armored Regiment. Who were instrumental in the defeating the final major pirate raid on Ziost before the planetary government decided to join the Sith.
When Ziost joined the Sith Empire under the ‘Aristocrats.’ Tol and his regiment were switched over to the Sith Army with the designation the 51st Armoured Regiment. Initially Tol was excited as part of the Sith Empire he had more options for postings and more chances to do his job and make his father proud.
The Sith ‘Aristocrats’ are not known for the most incorruptible society in the galaxy however. Tol found himself pushed to edges of the army as political connections and family money became just as important as ability. Tol put aside a possible personal life to work harder and show how good an officer he was. It was not enough Tol without the family money or the connections he founded himself moving sideways into the infantry corps, a unit that with modern vehicles and droids had become almost completely useless. His change of command was justified by the need of good officers in the infantry corps. Any officer knew it was a dead end for his career because he would rarely see combat because it would be foolish to send them into most battles.
Tol would not easily say die however. It was true he was upset at the leadership of the Empire for insulting him, but he molded his unit into one of the best. They worked on training for Urban combat and other instances where vehicles would be impossible to use or a liability. He carved himself out a adequate niche, but Tol was still not satisfied as he watched younger officers move through the ranks faster then he had and not because of skill but simply because their father supplied the armies rope, or glow rods. Tol grew bitter and jealous and schemed to get what he deserved.

Tol was returning to his office after a hard day of drills with Company A of the 3rd battalion. The men had done well making Tol feel proud it was exactly what he wanted. As he entered his office his secretary was sitting at the desk, most likely doing one of things office staff did when they had nothing to do.
When Tol entered the room his secretary stood up in that way that says finally I have something to do. Garrison life was boring for a soldier, and a fine waste of talent. “Sir the General is on the line he wishes to speak to you.”The young man said quickly and clearly.
“I will take it in private,”Tol responded taking his flack jacket off and slinging it over one of the chairs in front of his desk. He sat down in his chair and turned towards his work station. He opened the line with the General. “You wished to speak to me, Sir?”
“Yes Colonel Kresh, I have some new orders for you. Your Regiment is being reassigned to Muunilist.” The General said sleepily. “There is an Admiral operating out Muunilist you are to work with him and offer him whatever help your unit can give.”
“How long until we ship out?” Tol asked wanting to figure out how much time he had to organize things.
“As soon as you are ready, now if you excuse me I have a meeting.” The General said with a slight grin.
The General had probably had to run off to go have a meeting with a prostitute. He was a slob, but that didn’t concern Tol to much. He now had orders, something to break the boredom of training and garrison duty. Tol stood up from his desk and went back out to talk to his secretary. “Private, I need you to get the battalion commanders into my office in 30 minutes we have work to do.”
