Character Name: Don Phore; Riegel Sapphire
Character Faction: Their own, Fringe, or enemies of the Republic
Number of people Wanted: As many as possible
Reason For Roleplay: Wanting allies
Other:
History: The Dark Horizon are a wide mix people that started out as Bounty Hunters, before joining with Fallen Dark Jedi and then Grey Jedi. After that, they expanded to get Mandorolian thieves, and have since been gathering followers and equipment anywhere they go. Under the new command of Riegel, the focus of the Dark Horizon became more political than simply robbing and raiding, but many of the members are not into this movement. Riegel still satisfies the rougher members of the group by raiding, and even causing chaos are long as lives aren’t put on the line.
It’s new political movements have gone from robbing the rich to feed the poor, to going against the Republic and all other factions, in a movement to take more control with the coming war. The political idealism of the Dark Horizon, or at least Riegel’s ideals, is for each planet to be given independent power and laws of it’s own, remove all the power centered in the Core Worlds, and eventually remove the use of inter-planet currency, believing it to be the same as taking power from other planets, and to establish a truly equal trading system.
Allies: Can be pretty-much anyone. From Bounty Hunters, to assassins, to Grey Jedi. There can be many, as Don has her species power of persuasion, mixed with the power of Jedi mind tricks.
Red Jedi: These are Jedi (Light/Dark/Grey) who have had a little of Don’s teaching, of using their own fear to their advantage, and carrying something ‘burning’ within them, through the force, when fighting.
Fallen Dark Jedi/False Darths: These are Dark Jedi, who have stopped being dark Jedi to join them, and go against their own kind. Normally, to be both daring since it risks one of being hunted down, and to create fear in others, they will take on a name of ‘Darth’. Example: Darth Abyss
Wvern: These are in-depth learners of Don’s way of the force. The Wvern believe they can ignite a ‘force fire’ within them, to bring them energy at anytime, and expand it from a spark to a furnace when they wish. They believe this fire comes from natural emotions that give energy, namely the most basic instinct of survival: fear. They believe the different branches of fear can work to all levels. Affection, from concern; rationality, from caution; motivation and will, from panic and adrenaline. They believe in controlling fear, but not getting rid of it. For those political, the Wvern believe in order from chaos. Being reborn from the ashes. To start anew, after a fire. But they believe that fire must be lit, that all sides of the war must be defeated. They do not believe in civilization as such, but more of galaxies consumed and united in a common goal for survival. A return to their “dark inheritance from the jungle”. In that aspect, they harbor the dark side. But in another aspect, they harbor the light through fear for others, believing this to be step two, in evolutionary understanding. Not many Wvern see things the exact same way, but will normally be taught to approach whatever view they have, as long as it speaks to their potential. Don, herself, believes in destroying both Light and Dark Jedi, or any other teachings of the force that still remain. Others have this same view. They thrive off fear and destruction. And they all have a standard knowledge of Force Crush.
All Wvern have some knowledge of Clawdite. A sub-form of Ataru, in a way, though knowledge of that isn’t required. Clawdite focuses on making your own weaknesses, your enemy’s. Such as if you are shorter than an opponent, not to try to find ways to reach heights from leaps and jumps, but to make your opponent have a disadvantage from being to tall for their opponent, unable to defend against attacks toward the legs and knees. On a force level, the person can try to project fear or other negative emotions, and try to make it flow to their enemy, and allow them to feel it, too. Since Wvern are used to fear, and their enemies may not be, this is a sometimes cunning trick. Clawdite, or Way of the Dianoga, also focuses on deceiving, like that of shape shifters. Acting with less knowledge and power than you have, all the time waiting for your opponent to either tire themselves out, or find their weakness, and use surprise and random movements to their advantage, almost allowing the force to dictate their moves on a random, almost quantum level.
All Wvern, in terms of non-lightsaber and unharmed combat, have knowledge of a mix between the fighting style of Mandorolian combat, and that of the Ninja-Knights of Solan. Some of which having the special Mandorolian armor, which sticks onto the body, allowing agile movements.
An assembly of Mandorolian fighters, who steal or otherwise have gone against their own nation, are loyal to Don; which gives her and the Wvern a powerful voice in the movement.
Former Grey Jedi Bounty-Hunters: A group who hid on the war-torn planet Solan, and other planets, sharing with each other their own strange views of the force. Ever since one betrayed them for his own benefit, they have been exceptionally devoted to each other.
