OOC: On a sidenote, ONLY sith, or sith affiliated people are allowed to post here, because I doubt any person can land on a sith ship just because they felt like it.

The Savage, a Hammerhead-class Cruiser and republic ship; its current assignment? The protection of Dantooine, or at least in the case of an attack but unfortunately for the crew of the Savage, it wasn’t as simple as that this time around.
This time, the aggressor fought in a way which left the Republic helpless to take any action. Instead however, they were left with the frustrating and passive role of observing. In this case, they were monitoring two Interdictor-class Cruisers of their mortal enemy, which loomed just before them; darkening Dantooine’s skies, a planet which was one of many that they had sworn to protect. That’s not to say that the Republic intended to do nothing, after all, they wouldn’t have sent the Savage to watch over the people of Dantooine otherwise, but thanks to the current political situation, they couldn’t exactly open fire and call it a day this time and -unluckily for them- the sith knew this.
Even at that very moment, the sith’s corruption was slowly spreading across Dantooine and affecting its inhabitants, with the flagship, the Sentinel and its accomplice Retribution acting as support for the ground staff; each crammed with whatever supplies the personnel on the ground might need, especially construction materials.
Currently on the Sentinel, Serin stood silently on the deck of her ship and looked out at the planet below as her second in command, Elgrin gave his report.
“…and the construction on the robotics lab has once again fallen behind schedule thanks to the usual foul play. Data is inconclusive as to whether or not the Republic is behind this but I’ve sent what few men we could spare to look into it,” Elgrin finished, lowering the datapad and looking toward Serin as he waited for her response.
Serin sighed as she realised that the rest of the aristocracy probably wasn’t going to be pleased to hear about the delays and with them in mind, she had to ask, “I don’t suppose our request for support has been answered?” She was hopeful that the problems she’d been facing would have acted as some incentive for them to send assistance. Not just in the form of troops and workers however as she had enough of them; what she really needed was a few agents or specialists. "I'm afraid not," Elgrin replied, confirming Serin's suspicions.
Looking over her shoulder, she glanced over at Elgrin to see if she could read his feelings on the whole matter. The commander was a thirty year old veteran of the sith and yet, his appearance would lead you to believe he was a hundred; like his pale features or wispy grey kempt hair, for example. Some had surmised it was because of his constant contact with the dark side of the force, in the forms of Dark Jedi and sith. Others figured it was the affects of countless battles finally beginning to crawl to the surface. Either way, despite his weedy body, hunched posture or slow -almost meticulous- movements, the man had proven a valuable asset to the sith; having a sharp eye and keen mind, especially when it came to battle. Besides that, the man had a shifty look, his green and sunken eyes almost constantly darting back and forth as if analysing almost everything.
Gleaming nothing from him, she returned her look to the planet before slowly changing her focus over to the Republic ship, which lay not far ahead of them.
“Want me to give the order to open fire?” Elgrin half-joked as he noticed Serin’s shift of attention. He already knew the reasons why they couldn’t and Serin figured he did, but she answered him in all seriousness, “It’s unfortunate but you know as well as I that we can’t… The Republic has a clear advantage over us and if it were not for their weak will, I’m sure they’d have wiped us out already. After all, they not only have the luxury of taxations and benefactors but we are basically forced to fund ourselves. This is why we actually need to resort to acquiring our wealth through Republic worlds; such as Dantooine, which we’d lose if we were to suddenly attack a Republic ship.”
Serin shook her head in disappointment and she had the oddest feeling that the commander of the Savage was most likely feeling the same. She pushed aside this notion though and, with a small smile, continued on a somewhat bright note, “In the end however, it actually sort of works to our benefit in more ways than one, since if we succeed, we will not only be able to probably amass quite the fortune through Dantooine but it’ll be quite the hit to the Republic’s own economy as well.”
