Name: Tashiira Race: TrianiiAge: 19 Height: 7' 2" Weight: ~287 lb Appearance: Tashiira's figure can be best described as very, very imposing. Standing almost a head taller than human males, her powerful muscles are visible even beneath the softening cover of her thick, silky fur and a healthy layer of fat. Her broad shoulders and large breasts further enhance the imposing image when coupled with her Jedi posture, emphasizing her massive upper body. Her slightly feminine cougar-style face has a savage, almost feral quality to it, though it is also exotically attractive to those of a certain disposition as well as intimidating. Her blue eyes are as clear as Tattooine's mid-morning sky, with a gaze as intense and fierce as the planet's twin suns. Her tawny fur starts as a thin, medium-brown line from the top of her "bald" head to the base of her tail, quickly grading to the more prominent tawny fur on her back and sides, which eventually gives way to a very pale off-white color from the base of her neck, running down and spreading out at collar to cover her breasts and belly, tapering between her legs and ultimately terminating at the base of the underside of her tail. Though she wears her traditional padawan robes while inside Jedi acadamies and temples, she has reverted to the Trianii custom of only wearing clothing for utility and protection. In her case, this means most of the time she only wears her utility belt, from which her twin lightsabers hang, leaving her fur alone to protect her modesty (which it does perfectly well). She is significanltly more intimidating without the robes, as the lack of clothing proves she is every bit as large and powerfull as she looks, and coupled with her animalistic appearance, evokes imagery of savage natural predators. Birth place: Fibuli, Tingle Arm (slightly beyond the Outer Rim) Faction: Jedi Rank: Padawan Bio: Lightsaber: Dual-Wield, both single-phase, contoured (not curved) hilt. It is worth mentioning that the hilts are plated in silver and gold, as well as adorned with precious stones, with a perfectly-cut topaz serving as the activator switch for each. Color: Both are Gold Practiced Lightsaber forms:Shii-Cho 3 Makashi N/A Soresu 1 Ataru 1 Shien / Djem So 1 >>Sub-form Backhanded N/A Niman 3 >>Sub-form Jar-kai, or Dual Wield 3 Juyo N/A (her master was very adamant on this point) Double Bladed Combat N/A Force-Sensitive Abilities or practices:Telekinetic: 2 Telepathic: 2 Body: 5 Sense: 4 Protection: 3 Healing: 2 Destruction: 0 Specialized Skills: None Attributes: Physical Strength: 8.0 Intelligence: 5 Speed: 8.5 Leadership: 2 Unarmed: 7 Melee Weapons: 3 Ranged Weapons: 2 Force Attunement: + 2 RP Sample:

Alright, 6'6 and only 178? You probably wouldn't be very muscular, at least powerfully so. Maybe toned. Next thing, as a Padawan, you wouldn't have been taught all those forms yet. Amazing would be Shii-Cho and two or three other forms.
Next, where would she have been taught so much Unarmed, ranged, and melee combat? To my knowledge, it isn't apart of regular Jedi Training.
Also those lightsabers, would have to have been given to her by her master even if not, Jedi are supposed to be above such vanity.

I'll explain the lightsabers in her bio... When she made those, she was not above such vanity. I was under the impression Jedi recieved hand-to-hand training from the KOTOR games, and I figured her claws would give a slight bonus. I can tone it down a bit.
The melee and ranged combat are from a year seperated from the Jedi, after her Master was killed while they were beyond the Outer Rim, and she panicked into hiding and blending in with the local populace. It helps that she was on her home planet at the time.
I will enhance her weight. I pulled a rough guesstimate from nowhere.

Bio should explain more but I am not sure the Jedi would allow such vanity from padawans. I mean, unique custom sabers are cool and all, but that may be a bit extreme, but I am no mod so take what you will.

There was nobody to tell her no to creating that lightsaber when she did so. In fact, there were a lot of things she did that year she shouldn't have because there was nobody to tell her no.
Oh yeah, and about the lightsaber form skills: According to Wookieepedia, Niman and Jar'kai are just variants of the same form. Tashiira learns the Niman because she is learning Jar'Kai, not the other way around. Likewise, her training in Ataru is her complementary form, the same way Obi-Wan's form was Soresu/Ataru, and Anakin used unskilled Niman/Jar'Kai/Ataru when fighting Dooku with 2 lightsabers in AotC. Her mild training in Shein/Djem So and Soresu is from having Samuel L. Jackson, late greatest Jedi Weapon Master of this generation, as her mentor, and he was training her to eventually replace him as Jedi Weapon Master. I should tone down her force powers, though, since that part of the study was neglected

***I am not a mod., so you really don't have to listen to my review...
Understand that I believe Calvary's advice is good and should be followed. At the Padawan level, an 8 in ANY skill is amazing. Some Masters struggle to support ranks in the 8's. Understand that 5's are average level, 6 is above average, and 7 is around well known.
I am pretty sure the stats you have listed (both lightsaber and other stats) would be impossible to learn by age 19. An average for lightsaber stats. is 2 years to earn one stat., around 10 to master. Then, consider that is takes longer when learning two stats at once. I would say a 5 in Shii-Cho, a 3 in one form, and a 1 in another.
In the end your bio. will have to be extrodinary, and even if it is, you will most likely have to bring down some stats. It just isn't fair that someone that young has so many skills. I suggest checking out some accepted profiles of characters around your age.

As I said, her known forms are Shii-cho, which she has learned on a need-to-know basis, and focused on learning Ataru and Niman/Jar'Kai in concert. Also, her master until this point was a Jedi Weaponmaster, who wanted to teach her to become a juggernaught on an open battlefield against Dark Jedi (which he believed would happen within the next century, and believed the current Guardian model would not be enough to save the galaxy).
And as far as the stats go, speed and strength are about to get a bit higher, now that I've made her size closer to what it's supposed to be relative to her species and training (she's taller than some Wookiees). However, I am pulling down her force abilities and leadership stat, which have been mostly neglected in her intense physical training.

***Again, not a mod., so you really don't have to listen... I guess the only thing to do is wait for a mod.'s opinion and your bio. For now, my opinion is: 1. It is physically impossible for anyone to have so much lightsaber training in that amount of time. 2. It is unfair that your character has higher stats., as you will have an extreme advantage when RPing. Again, just opinions.

She's a Jedi... And stat's aren't everything. Yes, her stats would make her a powergaming munchkin's dream (furry fetish doesn't hurt either), but since she will be a suprisingly minor character in a much larger universe, with its own story to tell, she may find herself being balanced out.
If the matter is so significant, I shall downgrade her Ataru and Niman/Jar'Kai to 2.25, while reducing the other basic forms to 1, since I am taking the liberty to say her Mentor took an approach to her that won't become common among the Jedi until a few thousand years later: Teaching the Padawan the first six forms before knighthood.
And I want to question the "2 years per skill point" thing, because although I can accept "10 years to master a skill", wouldn't advancement to the next level be quadratic, rather than linear? After all, it makes sense to me that it takes less time to learn basic proficiency in a form than it would to move from Rank 4 to Rank 5.

To be honest about your question, you are better off asking Meira or Jace, as they are pretty good with this lightsaber and Force stuff. I am simply using Wookiepedia and knowledge from other members to determine a basic outlook. I am not the first to use these numbers.
In the end, they are estimates, simple checks, if you will, that help people attempting to create a character determine a fair, yet "good", ranking.

Finally accurately calculated her weight, using an equation gathered from the Height/Weight conversion chart supplied in a different thread, under the assumption that she has a Large female frame. Took a few attempts to find a function based on the provided scale to calculate for her ridiculous(by human standards) height (it stopped at 6' 0") before I remembered to use w = kh3

Your lightsaber "stats" are still way too bonkers for a Padawan. Trust me, they will need to be lowered. Because as it stands your Padawan is just about as proficient in as many and in some cases more than certain Jedi Masters, even Jedi High Council Members of the Order. Think about that. As a point of reference, my own 16 year old Padawan (mind you a three year difference from yours here) has Shii-Cho 3, Makashi 1, and Soresu 3, and her original master was a Jedi Guardian for many years. So, regardless of how you plan to explain your Padawan to know so many forms is immaterial, to be quite frank. Because there's no way a teenage Padawan would know so much, even if their master was a Jedi Weaponmaster. Bear in mind, Obi-Wan when he fought Darth Maul, he only new Shii-Cho (like any Jedi), but primarily focused on Ataru, but also had limited knowledge Soresu. Now that was frickin' Obi-Wan literally just before he became a Jedi Knight. So, they really do need to be toned down a bit.

As I said about the forms, I'm treating Niman and Jar'Kai as the same form like Wookieepedia somewhat does (Jar'kai is a varient of Niman, not ), just as Shein and Djem So are treated as the same form, so the current spread is 4, 0, 1, 3, 1, 3, 0.
Also, Obi-Wan had at least one point in Makashi and Niman as well, and he became the youngest Jedi Knight. I don't see why he's an upper limit on Padawan combat ability, since he was also significantly more "balanced" personality-wise than Shiira (I'm dropping the first sylable as of now, since it doesn't sound quite right).
And using a guide of 10 years to master each form, doesn't that mean Shii-Cho could be theoretically mastered by 14, since even younglings are taught that form? Or is that completely missing the point?
Eh, with her size and bulk (now that I've finished the calculations), I'm toning down Ataru to 1, as the crazy acrobatics and lightning-fast strikes are no longer her style. I'm considering increasing her Djem So to 2, though, to indicate her greater emphasis on strength. I think having her change style to 1-hand may very well lead to overkill, since she has about the same hitting power as a frieght train.

If they were solely learning lightsaber forms during their training. But, remember, Jedi are being trained in other aspects as well, Youngling and Padawans. Such as immense amounts of history, galactic lore, they still need to learn proper reading and writing for their age, they still need learn mathematics, science class, allllll that good stuff you went through too as a kid growing up. Then on top of which they're being trained in numerous arts of using the Force. And yet with all of that, you're still going to try and defend your Padawan, knows as many lightsaber forms as a Jedi Master. I get you're defensive and protective of the sanctity of your character, but I think you need to learn to be a bit more flexible and reasonable. As what you have right now, as starwarsgirl mentioned, it is unfair to other RPers playing Padawans who aren't essentially "lightsaber genius prodigies" as you have set your Padawan up to be.

Jar'Kai and Niman are not the Same form, although a variant of Niman, they are not one in the same. The Romance languages are variants of Latin, however knowledge and mastery of Latin does not mean proficiency with Spanish or French, although it really helps. Niman and Jar'kai have their similarities but are not one in the same.
While I am not one to join in on a trampling of your character, I have already given you my advice above, I will give you this - remember Balance.
Balance is what keeps us all having a good time. Devoting this much time to making yourself proficient with so many forms means that you may have to completely neglect your force training. And if (although the Bio hasn't been started) it is as you say that she was left alone, almost no progress could be made with the force training as Force training must be taught (usually, that is until you become Uber or the Sith'ari and you begin to uncover force secrets of your own.)
Think about KotOR, as a Guardian you only get 1 Force power every other level or so, while as a Consular you get two per level and as a Sentinel you get a balance of them. Being exceptional at a particular skill set usually means neglecting others. But then Balance. You play through KotOR as a Consular or Sentinel and all you have to do is go around blasting people with Force Lightning and you win. As a Guardian you force jump across the map and smack the crap out of them.
What I am trying to say is, if you are adamant about your character's innate awesome with a lightsaber, you will probably have to kick down Unarmed, intelligence and most of your force abilities to pitiful levels. Right now you have the force stats of a reasonable padawan, but since you are not meditating on the Force and concentrating you entire short life to the blade, your knowledge of the force will be extremely limited.
But then you run into a problem - Jedi can't fight as well without the force. Without the force you don't have your precognition and senses, speed, and abilities. You would probably get bested a lot by students who are behind you in lightsaber combat simply because their senses would be so attuned they could operate much better. Again, this is if you want to spread your force. You might be able to concentrate your lesser force abilities solely to Sense, Body, and Protection.
This is just my suggestion, I'll take a different approach and try to help you make the character you want as opposed to stripping it.

Hmm... I thought her force-ineptitude outside body, protection, and to a lesser degree, sense, were represented enough as 2s, since I ranked 1s as "manifestations of force adeptness"... spontaneous and only limited in control. She still needs to have the telekinetic ability to make her own lightsaber, or grab it if she drops it in combat.
I am working on lowering her lightsaber skills to further justify her higher hand-to-hand skill beyond being a natural by-product of Jedi training(Which I assumed were standard because of a KotoR game feature). I guess I can't have her learning lightsaber forms while she's wrestling Steve. I may actually reduce her lightsaber skills and make her prefer hand-to-hand, since her physique makes very little be an actual threat to her, making unarmed strikes more desirable than lightsabers. (even if claws make things messier, they are still less lethal than being cut in half.)
Actually, a few of the stats are more or less relics from before I realised how large she could be... went from a lightning-fast acrobatic Akaru fighter with two lightsabers (the original idea gave them curved blades) to something that can only be described as a Juggernaught. I'm going to keep her two-lightsaber combat style, since she is trained to fight multiple foes and she is naturally ambidexterous, having only one lightsaber would make her strength overkill against single targets, but leave her vulnerable in multi-melee combat.
Actually, I'm unsure exactly how I'm supposed to handle her lightsaber skills, because her abnormally high strength plays such a critical role in combat. She can parry most 2-hand lightsaber strikes from every form except possibly Djem So with her off-hand alone, and can likewise overpower almost any attempts to parry with relative ease. I think her greatest vulnerability is her lack of Forcesight, which is sufficient when dealing with large numbers of non-force sensitives like battledroids or even Mandalorians, but I think even some 18-year-old Padawans could beat her in a 1-on-1 as long as they don't try going toe-to-toe with her, due to their greater knowledge of the Force. (18 is supposed to be about her net level of training, since 18-19 her training has been temporarily aborted). As I'll make clear in her bio, her Master seems to have gotten his Padawan training regimen mixed up with his Spartan-style Supersoldier training regimen. Or more accurately, he'd been training her to be a specialist-type Jedi needed if a large scale war against the Sith Empire or Mandalorians ever broke out.
Something that sort-of balances her place in the universe is she has the problem solving skills of a hammer. Give her something she's not able to muscle or intimidate her way through, and watch her face scrunch up like a kinrath pup as she tries to re-arrange the situation into one that she can muscle or intimidate her way through. Though she isn't technically an idiot, she has a tendency to think with her muscles first (though always for the greater good of the galaxy. She's just no pansy).
I think I found a quote from someone in a similar position as far as the ridiculous physical stats go:
Granted, That guy's pretty slow... but Shiira's race is quite renowned for being faster and more agile than Humans despite their size.

Alrighty, I'm going to wait until the bio's up before I fully review this.
Just a little word or two though.
For the lightsabers, don't know if this has been mentioned but, you'll have to explain how Shiira got her hands on two gold crystals as they're not commonly accessible like the blue or greens. Also, as for the decarations, only a few select of the Order (membes of the High Council) were allowed to decorate their sabers in such a way and even then they weren't allowed jewels but only the gold electrum. No way's a padawan going to be allowed to apply that to their lightsaber.
And I would advise people using canon characters for stat comparisons. They are typically over powered and so comparison just doesn't sit well considering our strong anti-canon stance.
Finally, I think the most acceptable you'd be able to get for your lightsaber stats is the following:
Shii-Cho 4 Makashi N/A Soresu N/A Ataru N/A Shien / Djem So N/A >>Sub-form Backhanded N/A Niman 3 >>Sub-form Jar-kai, or Dual Wield 3 Juyo N/A Double Bladed Combat N/A
And now I'm not going to say anything until I see a bio.
If Meira doesn't get to this before me that is.
~Jenno
