The City of Worlport... A beautiful city, towers riseing from the coast like the primitive seaport cities of legend. Clean streets, and tourist attractions. Government seats, political intrigue, Casino's and Hotels. Worlport remains one of the most travelled cities on Ord Mantell, its personal ammenities are on par with most mid-rim planets and its location slightly off the Hydian way make it a perfect location for the occasional shady deal, weather your buying, or selling. To the south of Worlport lies some of the most welcomeing beaches, with views of the pink sunsets common to Ord Mantell . To the North lies the wastelands that seperate Worlport from the Ten Mile Plateau, a desolate place of vast emptiness. In the City of Worlport your likely to rub elbows with some of the finest people in the Galaxy... Have a pleasant Stay... Jenno Edit: Changed the spelling error in the title ;P

Doneeda had just slipped into her new speeder. Well, new to her at least. She'd gotten it at a rather discounted price because its history was less than stellar, and it wasn't in the greatest condition. But, it ran, which was all that mattered to her. It was going to need completely new...well...everything, but it would do the job for now, she thought. It was, at some point in its life, blue...but it had faded and rusted in certain places, been primered at another point in its life, and half restored at still another. But, it was a classic. A genuine CEC D35, a rare find on Corellia, let alone Ord Mantell. It didn't look like much, but as with most CEC hardware, it was endlessly modifiable, and Doneeda could spot potential a mile away.
She inserted the key and pushed the worn "start" button, as the speeder came to life. The percent power meter bumped up to 90% as it lifted off, then dropped back down to 99 or 98% during idle. She was satisfied, and paid for it after taking it for a spirited "spin".
She pulled out of the rather shady shop she had bought it from, and turned onto the main drag going through Worlport, and , naturally, pinned it. The PPM jumped down to 2% as the speeder accelerated like a bullet, pushing her back into the seat and garnering an ear to ear grin out of the young Twi'lek. She did a few more of those take offs, then decided to grab a few parts and head back to the shop. It was quick, but it needed a bit of work off the hop.
About 20 minutes later she closed the passenger door and hopped in, the passenger side seat and the trunk full of replacement or performance goodies. The drive back was fairly uneventful, aside from the guidance system acting up and deciding to shut down, and the radio allong with it( nadin' good anyway....).
As she was drawing closer to the shop, she started to hear sirens, something was apparently "up". She parked her speeder in the shop, and got out, heading towards the front.

Zen grinned as he pushed the pedal down on the speeder. It was an open topped model, and the wind in his hair was refreshing. It was late at night, and he'd just finished stealing it for a client. It was wonderful, the things one can pickup on a pirate ship. The majority of his skill set was nefarious, and finding legal uses for such things was just to difficult, and didn't pay well enough, for Zen. The particular speeder he'd stolen was worth upwards of 100 000 creds, and his 5% would give him a cool 5000, enough to let him finally have enough to get a ship, get it modified, then get back into the scene.
He'd been gone for 4 years...probably long enough for the Hutts and Corosec to cool down. He needed a base, and a crew still, but at least he had funding if nothing else. He'd been saving for the entire time, all the creds he made being the floater he was. He'd amassed a few hundred thousand, through being a pilot, Speeder Boost, even a wheel man for awhile on a few successful heists. But his true calling was in the stars, smuggling. And he had a plan. The pour out in the outer rim needed spice, this was a constant truth. But nobody ever needed to move any weight. No, the real money was in the Core. Kuat, Courscant, Correllia, thats where the big money was, where the "premo" stuff went. Only problem was supply, the reason prices were so high was because getting spice into the core was a mission in and of its self, aside from the distribution. The standard trade routes were far to obvious, so one had to find some new and more interesting ways in. These ways, while slightly more secure, also carried with them the added issue of time.
Zen thought at length about this for the past 4 years and figured he had a fairly solid plan. He could get into touch with his old supplier out on Ryloth, and probably get some weight. Move said wait into the Core, and distribute. No end sales, no dealing with producers. Just the middleman. Top gets busted, you can hide, bottom gets busted, you can disappear in a flash.....
He pulled into the garage that was moving the "floats" , as they were called in the business. Parked it, got out and walked over to that nights manager, an passed him the key.
Wif' tha key.
He said in with his strong Courscanti accent. The mans eyes widened slightly.
Impressive...
He said.
What? You 'fink you dealin wif amatures here mate?
He said with a smirk.
Now, abou' me money...
He said seriously.
'sover there, all 5.
Shoiney....
Zen said as he walked over and picked up the card, and put it into his personal comm device. It checked out as 5000 Republic Credits. He smirked, money going into his account.
Evening boys.
He said, as he walked out to his speeder and got in. On his way home, he decided that he'd start ship hunting in the morning.

Zen walked into the ship dealers yard. There were about 50ish ships, of varying sizes and in varying states of disrepair. This was the 4th he'd been into in 2 hours. And they were all the same. He decided to take a look around, just to give the dealer a fair chance. The ship he needed had to be quick, look innocuous, and be rather modifiable. So, in a word, Correllian.
It wasn't so hard to find ships made by the fiendish Correllians, but finding one in half decent condition was a completely different story. Here and there were some other manufacturers ships, a Kuat ship with a hole in the side, probably from a missile or the like. A few that actually looked somewhat space worthy, but none that particularly tickled his fancy. Until he came to the last one. It was beaten up, with blaster burns all over it, and what looked to be fire damage. The underside was beaten, probably from a botched landing. But, it was intact, and a rare CEC VX1200 series.
Two massive engines, lots of storage space, and fighter like maneuverability and a factory Class 2 hyperdrive. A fast "Courier Freighter", or so the factory said. Zen walked over to it and opened the door, and flipped his light on.
The interior was burnt, that was something that was immediately noticeable. The cockpit was wrecked, and the lower levels were a complete mess, but the ships frame and superstructure were more or less intact.
Once he exited, and inspected the hull, other things became noticeable. The engines were fried, as was the cargobay door. But, it was cheap, and it had potential. The owner didn't know what he had, rather obviously , with the 22 000 cred asking price. Zen got him down to 18 000 and bought it, all he had to do was find a shop within 7 days to do the modifications, and a crew.
Zen would need at least a crew of 5, 4 not counting himself. He realized that Ord Mantel was probably not the best place to look for a less than legal crew, but he didn't want anybody on the 'rim knowing what he was upto. Thus, he went to the shadiest cantina in the city....the one he usually frequented, and put up a buliten.
The Specter needs a good crew! Must be hardworking and able to work under pressure. Work will range from salvage to hired security, to escort. Contact Zen if interested.
He put his contact info at the bottom of the form then put it on the cork wall in the bar, by the door, and left.
