Okay so this will be the discussion thread for the thread idea that we've put together. Here's the basic idea from the request thread:

So the basic idea for what we have in mind is this: The Jedi team is sent to a planet (probably Nar Shadaa) to meet with a contact. The contact could have been some high ranking person in a Hutt operation that defected and wants to get information out to the Republic. The Hutt put a hefty price on the contact's head, so now there are people out to kill the contact. The Jedi don't know this, and are informed by a person the contact sends to meet them when they arrive, who also informs them the contact won't tell them what s/he knows unless they get him/her off of Nar Shadaa. So the contact starts to move from place to place to try to evade his hunters, leaving clues for the Jedi team to follow in order to get to him/her. So, from there it's up to the Jedi to try to get to the contact first and try to get him/her off of the planet before the hunters kill him/her.

Everyone good with that?

So the list of characters that I have that are at least planned to be involved are:

Blanche (Kellaishleya)- Arkanian Female- Translator for this Hutt, since he despises droids. Fluent in 10 languages, proficient in 30. Knows just about all his secrets, and many contacts. Finally couldn't stand working for him anymore, and so ran to the Jedi. {NPC}

Arwyn An'Gol (Cirith An'Gol)- still not 100% sure of the role she'll play. Waiting on a response to a PM from Cirtith for that. But she's definitely in.

So that's everyone that's signed on that I know of.

Any ideas for how this should kick off? I guess posts having the characters arriving would make the most sense. I guess the Jedi team could show up in one ship, and the hunters individually.

Yeah, I'd say have the Jedi (With Ozzril in charge due to him being the highest ranking) land on Nar Shadaa (I could start the Jedi portion of the thread if needed unless Kellaishleya does). Question is, do the hunters work together or not? Since most BH's tend to fly solo.

That works, the top Jedi should start us off. As for the hunters, if they aren't working together, perhaps they are competing against one another to see who gets who first.

It'd be better off if the hunters work together, since them fighting always happens in the movies and is half the reason they always fail.

Well I was just saying that when it comes to hunting down a bounty, most BH's would sooner slay their competition than work together with someone

Drace and Romeo aren't bounty hunters in the typical sense, though; Drace is a Dark Jedi and Romeo is a Green Meadows assassin. They'd work together for a while if they had to.

True... but they could agree to work together for a time, and each plan to kill the other once the bounty is found. Or, there could be a truce of some sort...

and Hoorah! This shall be great fun. Gimme a few on the Wookieepedia, and you'll have yourself a contact... ;D

Alrighty, perhaps have it so they met up before this thread starts, that way less rping them meeting/ befriending or w/e.

I'd still say have kellaishleya start it, have her NPC the dude we're gonna try to find.

Also, due to the fact that we're all going to be using characters I think we're all very fond of, let's proclaim this to be a non- fatal thread to any player characters. Does this sound good?

Sounds good to me. Maybe we could get hurt but nothing serious then.

In my experience, all bad guys join up eventually....how long and what happens when they finished with the task usually turns out badly for one, lolz.

Sounds good to me. Although, depending on how the thread plays out, the contact may or may not die, but since they'll be an NPC I suppose that's a non-issue.

Looks like you guys got everything worked out. Now if only Tal will responde to my PM about Sabertooth.

I can use my Mandalorian Arwyn An'Gol since she's currently on Coruscant anyway, she's both Bounty Hunter and Mercenary, so whoever hires her first is who she works for. Hint, hint. She currently doesn't have a job and is looking for one.

Or I could use my extremely new Togorian Bounty Hunter and Mercenary. He hasn't even had a job yet in fact. Like I said, I'm waiting on Tal to reply to my PM and Bio. If all else fails I'll use Arwyn I guess.

Still waiting for Kella to let us know who she'll be. But other than that and Cirith's dilemma, I think we're pretty much ready.

Awlrighty! Because my imagination tends to work faster than my good judgement, you have two choices... and if nobody cares, I'll probably go with the first. ;D But either I'd find quite fun...

Digit Abacus - Toydarian Male - Has worked as the Hutt's accountant for the past 25 years. His work was sabotaged by a jealous co-worker, and so Digit was fired. Enraged, he decided to take his revenge on the Hutt by reporting him to the Jedi.


Lemme know what you guys think, and as soon as you do, I'll see if I can't get that introductory post up... and you'll probably have to help me out with those clues. X) I do have a few in mind though... hrum... And that's about all outta me for now. Can't wait to get this started!

I'm starting to look forward to this thread, should a good one and someone besides Kellaishleya can see Ozzril in action and stare in wonder at the glorious old Jedi.
