The city that could have been, now in a pile a rubble on the ground. No breathing life forms dare come within a mile of the area, as it does not take one with Force abilities to sense the presence of dangerous spirits roaming through... Daeira Syona vs. Kxkrru'krkx Fringer vs. Fringer 6 Rounds (hopes this sounds good to yall, can change it if you want) Challenger (Maximus) goes first

(Thank you for doing this SWG ;D And I LOVE the atmosphere you picked for this, should be fun.)
The silence of the derelict urban was deafening. Even his antennae didn't sense anything around him. Mouth clicking in thought, the Tarc runaway slave Krkx wandered around. His ship, the Shores of Hjaff had to land on this unknown planet for repairs. And of course, the Girational Transsender (OoC: HA! Made up ship part XD) went out. Again. Clacking with frustration, the massive blue crustacean dug through piles of junk that littered the streets, having already checked all buildings that once housed part stores and garages- so far finding nothing.
This had been now the fourth Gir Trans that had gone out on Krkx' beloved ship, one of the few vices of its model. His partner and surrogate daughter Kristanah had stayed back with the ship to remove the old one while Krkx searched this nearby ghost town for said part. Antennae suddenly perking up, he growled quietly and clicked a few times, a sudden shifting of junk caught his attention, the presence of a living organism picked up by the crustaceans antennae. A series of loud clacks and clicks accompanied by growls sounded from the Tarc, roughly translating to
"Kris, is that you?"
When no one answered right away Krkx' stance shifted to a more stable one and his claws opened slightly at the ready. If he could avoid it, the pacifist at heart Tarc didn't want to get into any sort of confrontation, but if someone attacked him, he would not hold back, he would use his hundreds of years of experience, immense strength, and nearly impervious shell to take down whatever came at him. Clacking once more, it translated to this:
"If you come to harm me, know this, I will not show you any mercy, as I doubt you will show any to me..."

Daeira crouched down on the roof of a nearby building, watching the large crustacian. This was her target. She was being offered a lot to bring him in, dead or alive. This would be a challenge, even with all the research she had done. But her reputation demanded that she did not fail. She pulled her mask on.
As she did this, her foot hit some of the rubble on the roof. It made some noise as it fell to the ground. "Damnit." Her target turned in her direction. Daeira froze, still watching him. He seemed to be very perceptive. She waited till he looked away, then grabbed the rifle from her back. She may not have been a crack shot, but it's hard to miss such a large target.
Daeira aimed the rifle, carefully, hoping his shell might be weak near the base of the neck. It would at least test how strong it was before she had to use her backup plan. She turned the power up to max on her rifle, aiming through the scope. Her finger gently squeezed the trigger, a crimson bolt flying towards the large crustacian.

Effort: 4/5 Fairness: 5/5 Detail: 5/5 Coolness: 4/5 Bonus: 0/2 Comments: Great post!!! I love the way you explain your character and his movement, and great excuse for being on the planet! The ending pulled me in, however the lack of excitement in the middle is the only thing holding you back from a perfect score. I know you can step it up though!
Daeira Syona
Effort: 4/5 Fairness: 5/5 Detail: 3/5 Coolness: 4/5 Bonus: 0/2 Comments: A pretty solid start to this duel here. You remained fair throughout your entire post, and kind of left us on a cliffhanger, leaving both you and Maximus an exciting topic for your next post! I would have like to see a little more incorporation of your surroundings/environment. While your post did contain some action, your lack of environment prevented you from getting a 5 there. However, like Maximus, I know you can step it up!!
Total:
Kxkrru'krkx- 18 Daeira Syona - 16
A great start here. I realize you had to do all that nitty-gritty stuff because this was the first post, but I think we could all raise a level in the action packed factor. I have no worries though, I am sure I will have laughed, been scared and cried by the end of this duel!

{OoC:
Don't you mean
Maximus-18 alandale- 16 ? ;D}
After a moment of nothing happening, Krkx looked away and rifled through the same pile of junk, turning to look into the storage compartment of a powder blue speeder. And of course- no luck. But the Tarc's luck only got worse. The sudden Pew! of a blaster firing rang out, and before Krkx could see where the assailant was a bolt struck him at the armor on his neck, the bolt reflecting off harmless and hitting the dirt ground with a slight thud.
A loud series of clicks sounded from the crustacean, a few choice Tarc swears issuing from the former chieftain. Antennae moving and eyes scanning, he caught glimpse of the sniper atop a nearby building. Growling and clicking for a quick second, his eyes turned to the speeder he just searched. From his quick search he found the area he figured the speeder's reaction cell was, and used his massive claw to punch through the thin metal of the speeder, clicking in satisfaction as he heard the grinding wheeze of a reaction cell beginning to explode.
Massive claws opened wide and clamped down on it, just as his two fingered hands grabbed the edge of the passenger side of the speeder. With a loud growl accompanied with clacks sounded, the hulking Tarc lifted the speeder clear over his head as his sturdy legs spun his bulk, giving his own momentum to the speeder and then threw it with all his might, the speeder flying at the building that held the sniper as it's reaction cell only whined louder.
The speeder collided just under the sniper and exploded in a bright, brilliant blue explosion, the light almost blinding the Tarc for a second. The building shook and rumbled, and the entire face where the speeder hit collapsed, severely slanting the roof downwards, right towards the Tarc. After the smoke from the smoldering ruins of the buildings face and the speeder cleared, Krkx clicked and growled in satisfaction, the area a brilliant mess. He moved slowly around the rubble, careful to keep his distance, but also happened to move towards a group of swoop bikes that were parked at a wrecked bar.
His hands quickly grabbed the fork of the nearest bike and held it up like a massive club, though Krkx kept his claws free in case. Growling inquisitively, the Tarc's antennae waved forward to sense any incoming attacks or enemies.

Daeira sat there, open mouthed for a second. A vehicle was flying directly at her, thrown by her bounty. "Crap." She quickly got up and rushed to the other side of the roof. Daeira pulled her cloak tight around her and jumped, landing ontop of a large pile of rubble, right when the speeder exploaded behind her. She had managed to dodge the initial explosion, but what she didn't account for was the size of it. Soon chunks of wall, metal, anything you could think of, was flying towards her. She grabbed a large sheet of metal to try to use as a shield, but was still hit in the side of the head, her ear clipped and bleeding. Other then that and a few bruises though, she seemed unharmed. She ripped off part of her cloak and tied it around her head to compress the ear.
"This is gonna be harder then I thought." She swore under her breath, her ear hurting badly. Daeira searched the area, finding what looked like a safe path through the ruins of some old building, hoping to use it to move around unnoticed. She was careful where she stepped, not wanting to make the same mistake she made on the building. Soon she saw the crab man, and he had put himself in a wonderful position. If even one of those bikes had some juice in it... Daeira grabbed a grenade from her belt, tossing it, her aim good, the grenade landing and rolling into the group of speeders. She quickly ran and hid behind the remains of a crumbling wall. "Three....two...one."

Sorry bout this, but in all fairness, Stealth Generators are against the rules. Dire Wolf informed me of this, Zarkan enforces it.

Effort: 4/5 Fairness: 4/5 Detail: 5/5 Coolness: 5/5 Bonus: 0/2 Comments: An awesome follow up, great job on increasing the action, I can’t wait to see what happens next! I would like to point out that you are really good explaining this character’s movements and incorporating your surroundings, so kudos on that note!
Daeira Syona
Effort: 4/5 Fairness: 5/5 Detail: 3/5 Coolness: 5/5 Bonus: 0/2 Comments: Again, nice job increasing the action within your post. I think your posts could be a tad longer, and I would like to see you put some effort in and increase the detail, the reason why I didn’t lower your effort score was because I can see that you did use up some effort in the action of your post, so keep it up. I would also like to point out your fairness, as you allowed your character to receive some wounds, so nice job on that part. Other than that, just step up on the detail.

Both of you have improved in certain areas, and I congratulate you on that, I also ask you to take a look and see if you may have lost some points in an area, and work on those areas, as well as keeping the action in your posts. Try to wow me!

If Krkx had flesh instead of an exoskeleton, his eyes would have widened as the small metal sphere flew at him. Instead his antennae stood straight up and he threw the swoop on top of the grenade and spun away from it, turning the toughest part of his shell towards the grenade just as it exploded. Shrapnel bounced and clacked against his outer shell, but the Tarc was still knocked off his feet by the force of the grenade.
He tumbled front first into the building in front of him, his 500 pounds easily smashing through the face of the building, the shaky mass of the former townhouse soon rumbling and crashing upon the Tarc. A mere moment passed before the rubble moved. Growling and clacking angrily, the massive form of Krkx burst from the rubble, sending it flying as he held his hands and claws open wide as he bellowed in pain, on of his antennae bend to almost in half. To those who did not possess said body part, an antennae was more sensitive than the average human's most sensitive spots on their skin, the pain from a bent one almost equal to having a limb severed.
Krkx didn't waste any time though, quickly falling to all sixes and bellowing once more. It was rare to see a Tarc move as he was, the species true speed only revealed when like this. His antennae waved wildly as he took off sideways, as many crustaceans- big or small- do. Small rocks and dust where thrown up to his right as he sped out of the rubble, his antennae soon picking up the presence of the enemy behind a wrecked wall. He picked up speed as he found her, a determined growl sounding from his chest. With a mighty force Krkx burst straight through the wall that the attacker was behind, more dust being thrust up from the ground, but the Tarc didn't depend on site as most species did, his antennae staying locked onto the enemy.
After the dust cleared Krkx could be seen standing on his two tree trunk thick legs, his right claw moved to clamp down tightly on his attacker's right arm. A loud series of clacks and growls sounded from the Tarc as he moved, simply translating to
"Why? Why must you bother me? What have I done to you little fleshling?
When no answer came right away his antennae drooped sideways in a despairing Tarc expression. A couple slow clicks came from Krkx- words of depression coming from the ancient man.
"You have forced my claw into this."
With a grunt Krkx roughly slung the woman away from him (assuming that he grabbed onto her), making sure to throw her a good distance away before opening his claws and growling loudly, opening challenging this new challenge.
