Dak Hykor watched his quarry through the scope of his rifle. The neimoidian had some guts, coming down to the Underworld of Coruscant, which was rather odd for his species. There were always a few brave ones. Of course, this one could've accidentally gotten stuck down here, carrying a holocron he'd stolen from some mysterious third party whom Dak had been hired by. The neimoidian had been employed by these strange people--if they were people-- and had betrayed them, stealing a holocron from them which contained sensitive information on it. The mysterious third party who'd hired Dak to retrieve it had told him to not even attempt to sell it to anyone, but to bring it to a rendezvous on a space station above Coruscant. He was also not allowed to activate it, not that he would be able to. The man who'd contacted him also assured him that.
Dak wanted to just pull the trigger so he could retrieve the holocron and be done, but they wanted him alive. Dak was sure that they wanted to torture him. Dak didn't particularly like working for people that cruel, but they were paying him a lot of money. Enough to buy a lot of new supplies and equipment for the ESA. And they would be needing that equipment, now that they were actually starting a civilian government. Dak was still not quite sure how that would work out. The civilians would mostly be the families of the mercenaries employed by the ESA, but almost anyone would be welcome.
This was not the time to be thinking about that, though. He shook his head to clear it, and focused on his target again. The nervous neimoidian was walking through the dimly-lit street, glancing everywhere, jumping at every noise. Maybe the neimoidian wasn't quite as brave as he'd first thought. Suddenly, three human thugs and a Duros thug, all armed with crude spiked clubs, jumped out from behind an ancient crashed speeder. The neimoidian panicked, and shot one of the humans with a holdout blaster that Dak had not noticed before. This seemed to make the others very, very angry. They jumped at the neimoidian. Great, Dak thought to himself. He needed that neimoidian alive. And the thugs would most likely steal the holocron after they killed the neimoidian anyways.
Kark it, Dak thought as he put the crosshairs on the head of the Duros, and pulled the trigger. The BLAM! of his rifle's sniper attachment, and the Duros went down, a bloody hole in the side of his head. The two remaining humans ran, and Dak put another bullet in the permacrete ground behind them just for good measure. The neimoidian was scared out of his mind now, and he ran in the other direction. A cloudcutter was now blocking Dak's view of the alien. Great, he'd have to get closer...

Reaver waved goodbye to pilot. He had offered Reaver a ride for a mere few credits, of course, Reaver's ways with words helped out. Reaver hopped out and the pilot quickly took off, knowing this to not be the safest place, for they were near the Underworld of Coruscent. He pulled up the hood of his robe to hide his face, making his way down a set of stairs." A loud banged echoed down the street, Reaver didn't panic but he did stay focus.
Reaver kept his hand near his saber as he came across the dead corpse, who shot this man? Who was he? He walked past the body, looking all around him for the shooter.

Derga silently prowled within the deep under-belly of Coruscant. Almost a living shade, nothing even stirred as he went through the shadows to where his intended target was. From what he had hard, there was a job up to capture a Neimoidian with some holocron. And the party doing so was paying big credits.
He reached for his sniper rifle, glad he had prepared himself for this kind of terrain earlier in the Starburner. He stopped at the top of a stairway, deep within a shadowy corner. He settled himself down and waited. About a hour dragged by before he heard someone comign closer, breathing raggedly. He knew immediately this had to eb his target. He could smell his fear even through the rancid smell of the 'underworld'.
he waited a few seconds and saw the neimoidian go by. He quickly got up and set up right at the top of the stairway, taking aim down his sites. He was just about to pull the trigger when a Duros and several other thugs popped out from behind a wrecked speeder and surrounded the target. He growled mentally to himself, then was surprised when a unknown round took the Duros in the head.
The neimoidian then pulled out a holdout blaster and lit up one more thug and ran. Directly at Derga. He rolled sideways, barely getting out of sight as the bounty went running off. He growled verbally now and charged, trying to catch up yet stay silent. The result: he went at a sort of jog and retained some of his stealth. As he followed, waiting for the right moment to spring on his prey, he thought about the dead Duros. Who had killed him? Was another one after his prize? He'd have to wait and see...
OOC: Heya binding and Bobert.

Dak had now reached the building the Neimoidian had ran behind, and he peeked around the corner. He could see the being, a few blocks away now, still running for his life, though he was visibly getting tired, and slowing down. There was also a shadowy figure behind him.... Uh oh. Probably another bounty hunter. He heard something behind him, and turned. Someone had just approached the body of the Duros he'd killed, which Dak was just now several meters away from, thankfully in the shadows. In his hand was a cylindrical object which Dak knew all too well. A lightsaber. His hand shot to his holster, ready to draw it and throw a few rounds at the Jedi. But... He didn't look very Jedi-ish. He wasn't wearing the telltale robe that Jedi thought blended in so well with the crowd, and he didn't seem to be glowing in the sense that most Jedi did. He looked more like another bounty-hunter. Which meant competition. Dak did not like competition.
He threw a glance over his shoulder at the retreating Neimoidian and his shadowy pursuer, then back at the being at the body, who was now looking around, trying to find the sniper who had shot the Duros in the head. Dak would have to get to the Neimoidian, but he would let the other guy grab him, then he would grab the Neimoidian from him. Simple. He just hoped that the shadowy pursuer would not kill the Neimoidian, as the bounty wanted him alive.
He pulled his rifle off his back sling, aimed at the newcomer, and walked right out of the shadows. "Alright, drop the shiny laser sword, and I won't drop you."

Reaver chuckled then sighed, laughing at the bounty hunters belief that he can actually take down Reaver, then sighing at the stupidity."You have no idea, who I am, do you? I actually want you to try and shoot me, it's bad enough you already told me you wanted to shoot me, you have already doomed yourself." Reaver took a chance and turned around to face the man, knowing he wouldn't shoot."Now, may I ask who you are and why you wish to shoot me?" The Umbarian's cold eyes stared into the hunters'.
He gestured towards his saber threatningly."You know how this works, yes?"

"And you are a fool to think that I can't kill you, Dak said, matching the man's threatening tone. "And to think I really care who you are. "And yeah," he continued. "I know how that works. They're pretty fun to use, though the weightlessness of the blade and the gyroscopic effect is a little disorienting. Still, I've gotten rather good with them, sparring with my friend. He still wins most of the time." As he spoke, he tapped the datapad on his arm, taking a snapshot of the man and running it through the holonet database. It was rather fast. He was an Umbaran by the name of Reaver, last name unknown. It was also unknown if Reaver was in fact his first name, or just a nickname. He was on several wanted lists, and was rumored to be a rogue Jedi, now an assassin. Great, Dak thought to himself. A Jedi Assassin. Just what I nee-- He stopped himself mid-thought, and realized that he was what he needed. Or, at least, what the ESA needed. They could always use another Force-User to throw in the Force User Squad. Of course, that all depended on if he would be willing to join, or if he decided to try to kill Dak. "Alright, Reaver," he continued. "You really think you can take me on, go for it. But I have an offer for you, if your interested..."

Derga glanced behind every once in a while to see if they were being pursued yet. Glad to see that he wasn't, Derga returned his attention to his prey. While still running flat out, it was at least retaining a bit of sense to head upwards. Which was exactly what Derga didn't want.
Finally stopping, he lifted his sniper up to his shoulder and took aim. He stood nearly as still as a statue, tracking his prey with a inner calmness he only attained on a hunt. Just when his target came at the right point, he pulled the trigger back. He then felt the sniper kick-back satisfyingly, sending a tranq dart straight for the neimoidian's back. It imbedded itself in the prey's back, immediately knocking him out and sending him to the ground.
He stood still for a few seconds, enjoying the satisfaction of taking down a target before pulling the rifle's sling over his shoulder and letting it rest on his back. He then ran quickly up to the target, pulled out the dart, then proceeded to disarm and bind the prey's arms together. Throwing the pathetic hold-out blaster into a random direction, he also pulled out the holocron and slipped it into a secure belt compartment.
He then hauled him up slowly but surely onto his shoulder. Grunting from the exertion, he started at a slow jog towards a alley nearby. He then summoned what energy he could, along with his command of the Force, and jumped high despite the extra weight.
Feeling nothing but rushing air for a minute, he finally felt the ground underneath him as he landed on a roof. He took a deep breath then began jumping from roof to roof, slowly but surely, hoping to escape the area before any other could stop him. Though from the amount this damn neimoidian weighed, he somehow doubted he would...
OOC: Hahaha, that'll give ya guys plenty of time to pair up... supposedly, then come after him. Should be fun!
