Jace Beleren, Member of the Jedi High Council had a great deal of things to think about. He had just returned from Korriban and wasn't exactly in the best of moods. He was not unaccustomed to death, but that didn't mean that he liked it at all. He was certain one Jedi had become part of the force, and for two others he couldn't be sure, but it was very much possible. Many things were running through his mind, by the time he reached the Council chambers entrance. He closed his eyes, pushed it all away with a simple calming technique and walked in. He looked around at his fellow council members, it was not often that council members went off to the homeland of the dark side.
"My brothers and sisters of the council, as you all well known I had traveled to Korriban recently, and have just returned. I have now come to make my report to the council, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them."
He paused for a few moments, to collect his thoughts and then proceeded.
"I had wanted to travel to Korriban myself, but it was deemed too dangerous and such I was accompanied by two Jedi Knights, a Master, and another member of this Council..Master Took. Upon landing in Korriban, we dawned the disguise of Mercenaries to get to the valley and the tombs we sought. We reached the Valley with relative ease, but soon encountered our first problem.
As we were making our way to the first Tomb, three large pillars went flying straight to Knights Lon and Ryn, I had no choice but to use the force and send the pillars back. We quickly made our way into the tomb, and into an even deadlier device of the dark side. Each of us was subjected to the test of the dark side, of which I shall not speak. All I shall say this is that breaking from this trap, required an immense amount of willpower but also left me with a greater understanding. This is also where I believe we lost Jedi Master Jeh'rad.
This is the point that Knight Ryn ran out of the tomb to challenge a dark foe he had faced before. Knight Lon also felt it necessary to go and support Knight Ryn. Knight Lon fell bravely in battle shortly after this, while Knight Ryn was hurt severely.
Master Vreem who also made his way outside, encountered a powerful enemy. One who was very strong with the force, and more specifically the dark side. It was at this time that I made my way to the heart of the tomb, and meditated. I found no 'weapon' in the tangible sense, but I gained much knowledge, and knowledge can be the most powerful tool to those who know how to use it.
It was after this, that Knight Ryn and myself made our way to the ship to avoid anymore combat. I had urged Master Took to come with us, but his mind was made up long before. Master Took decided to stay behind, and though he was up against a worthy foe, I sensed that he had gotten away. He is strong with the force, and hopefully he will return to us soon.
This is all that I have to report..."
With all that was said, Jace waiting there patiently, to wait for the rest of the councils comments on this fatal expedition.

Master Kil Gorn had just returned from a long trip across the Galaxy. To hear of these losses was not a warm welcoming. He turned to Jace and was the first to speak,
"You did well Master Beleren. Their sacrifices were not in vain for you have gained knowledge of the force. I have been in your position several times before. It is not an easy place to find oneself. You shall want to blame yourself for their deaths but do not. Avoid mourning for them, rejoice in their passing. Knowledge is invaluable and you have gained it. Their losses are unfortunate and show us how bold the Dark Jedi are becoming. I do have a question, these Dark Jedi did you witness them fighting or speaking with the other Jedi? Were they fools? Rushing blindly into combat? Or something much more dangerours?"
Kil Gorn wanted to know about the Dark Jedi he'd faced many in the past and he wondered if they were becoming more organized and more focused. Many Dark Jedi were former Jedi who couldn't control their power. Others the more dangerours were Jedi who wanted more power but could control their urges. These Dark Jedi were philosophers and schemers they were the ones to be feared for they would destroy the Jedi.

Jace looked around and saw that it was Master Kil Gorn that had responded to him. He listened quietly before responding, organizing his thoughts as he always did.
"I do not mourn Master Kil Gorn, only that it was an unnecessary loss in my eyes. It couldve been avoided had I been allowed to go alone, but that is the past."
He let peace flow through him, and wash him of what had happened and continued.
"Each of the Dark Jedi fought one of the Jedi except for two of them. Originally there were two on Korriban when we arrived, one of whom through a pillar at us. The other engaged in battle with Knight Lon and killed him. The one who fought Knight Ryn was an opponent who Ryn had met before.
Then came the real problem, a dark Jedi Master if I had to guess. He came with two apprentices, once again a guess but it is a safe assumption. He was the one who shared words with Master Took and then engaged him in battle.
He is the one who worries me, because he was quite strong, yet I gathered that there are stronger out there. Also the face that they were coming to Korriban, is disturbing. There are no coincidences, he was coming to korriban for a reason...this is what truly worries me.
I feel as if I hadn't slipped off Korriban when I did, that I never would have left the planet again."
Jace finished with that lingering thought, for he felt it so truly that day.

Kil Gorn nodded and went into a brief deep thought. He had felt a slight tremor for sometime now but what it was he had not know. He believed this could have been it,
"These Dark Jedi are growing in number and strength. Soon I fear they shall no longer have reason to hide from us. We cannot allow this. Jace you did good to come back when you did. The Order must talk about this...and in great detail we have left it linger in the dark for too long.

Shawn knew right where to find the chambers since he was once a Jedi...well still is but not of the Order. Letting his memory lead him through the familiar halls and past rooms that held old memories, Shawn made his way to try and catch a council or master to talk about what had happened at Boz Pity. Now Boz Pity was not only a disaster with how their journey but with the life lost of so many hardy crew men that had families back here near to the Temple.
Turning down one of the long halls that had the library entrance to it Shawn continued on his way until he saw a small Jedi Guard Patrol trying to find him for his acts on the docking bay platforms. Shawn was instant in his actions and ducked into the Library where he ventured to his old study table. He didn't know if they would come into the library or not but he knew he could find some items he needed there anyway.
Sitting down he quickly began searching through recent files and actions of the Order along with any news that was going on. With reading through he was surprised at how much he had missed in the last 5 months and in fact it was way to much for him to read so after he just surfed a few things to find a little about the activities going on he decided it was time to try and get back to trying to make it to the Chambers. Now he stood slow and relaxed letting himself continue to feel like a real Jedi again before letting his quick feet quide him for the door.
Poking his head out he searched the hall before rushing out with his cloaks hood coming up over his head to make him a little more mysterious for the time. Now it wasn't that he liked sneaking about and being on the other Jedi's bad side but he had to reach the council and talk to them. If they wouldn't listen then he would be on his way to go after the Dark Jedi as a Gray Jedi once more to try and do peace but he would rather be brought back to the Order and have some help trying to set peace back into the Galaxy.
Making his way around the corner onto the final hall towards the Council he just remained hidden letting his hard footsteps ring down the completely empty hall as his slowing strides pushed him forth. Now any force sensitive being could tell he was there and the Council members would know he was coming but as to who it was would be a mystery since he wasn't around during most of their time as council members.
With his arms emerging to push his robes aside and let his hands reach out forth for the two big double doors he would give a big puh with what strength he could bring with the force from his last 3 long days. With the doors barely sliding open to him which just barely allowed his thin form slid it he just stood at the entrance among who was there to speak out slowly and with deep breaths.
"My fellow Jedi things must be restored. Action must be taken to restore the peace of the Galaxy but these Dark Fiends of Jedi become what we fear most...I have heard stories on my way back from merchant links and other passing military vessels about the Dark Jedi and of a emergence of a small Sith band. I wish to help if I am permitted."
Now his voice was not like the hard captin he was anymore but that of a strong Jedi Guardian once more and just to reveal who this Jedi was he slowly let his hands slip to his hood and lower it. Producing a gentleman of about 44 now with a small graying of his hair stood Shawn O'connor. Similiar to how he left but for the gray he was no longer appearing to be stricken by his search for revenge nor for his struggle with where he should be but rather found and redeemed from his search.
"I, Shawn O'connor, wish to be reinstated to Jedi Guardian. I wish to take back what the darkness has claimed and restored the Galaxy to what peace it can have. My Council leaders and Master of the Order I have watched the Dark Jedi kill before my eyes my crew and know it must be stopped."
Informal as he was dressed and spoke the council might see him for who he was now and not how he had become in the past from losing his Master. He had ventured throug the galaxy to find himself and collect data for the Order and had done so and in the last 5 months had found who he really was and not who he thought he was becoming.

Jace regarded this knew appearance carefully, he was the second person this month who wished to be reinstated to the Jedi Order. Jace wasn't too fond of those who left and tried to return, but everyone deserved their fair chance.
Jace sat forward a bit, he was sitting with his hands crossed in his robes, and he finally spoke.
"You speak of darkness, we are well aware of that growing dark in the galaxy. You say you wish to help us, but have already abandoned the order once. How are we to trust that you will not run when the situation inevitably gets tougher?
I think the Council and myself would like to hear the reason for your leave of the Order. Every story has at least two sides, so we shall hear yours, for it would be unfair to judge otherwise."
This was a man who was almost Jace's age, he probably would have known him much better if he hadn't been a shadow. He always held respect for his fellow Jedi, but sometimes once must be firm, and leaving the Order is no light matter.

Shawn felt a bit rejected as he came into the room and spoke cause as he was replied to like he actually did abandon the Order when just 5 months ago he was here, returning from his Unknown Region journeys. He had left the Order yes but on his own mission to not go to the dark side, on his own mission to find if being a Jedi was right. Now before him he was being questioned on his reasoning when he had brought back so much information from the Unknown Regions.
"Now listen to me council. I never abandoned the Order nor did I ever think of abandoning the Order. I did what I had to when I lost my Master so that I wouldn't go to the Dark Side. I left to try and find myself and control my rage and anger like any young man would obtain from losing someone close. I was just back here 5 months ago with Unknown Region info before proceeding with a team to train on Boz Pity where they left, my padwan included, because I was having mental flashbacks and getting darkness once more before I learned that I don't want to be dark and I won't ever let it consume me. I've continued with my work for the Order since I tried to find myself and still continue to keep myself Allied with the Order."
Stepping further into the centralized part of the council chambers Shawn should before them and slowly turned with his arms out wide so that each member could see and perhaps remember him. He hadn't change much since then before his growing older and the slight graying in his hair but his features were still very close to so long ago. Coming back to have hs eyes on Jace he would once more speak forth to him and the rest of the council.
"One man's abandonment is anothers saving grace council men. Those of you who know me still know I went for the reasons I thought right and will continue to know right. If I had stayed I may have gone to the Dark Side and I could've out in the Unknown Regions but I have returned as I promised realizing that this is where I belong with the only family I have left."
He slowly let his arms come completely back to his side as he stood befrethe councl members with his head bowing slowly and his body becoming a unisoned movement. Letting his knees slowly bend he would come down onto one while the other remained bent and then his head would slowly come back to look up towards the members.
"My alligance and my strength has always and will always continue to serve the Order."

((OOC: Meira and Arichi are coming to the Council in order to receive orders to investigate into an obscure message from the Agri-Corps on Bakura. Jace knows details))
Meira moved swiftly, yet calmly through the halls of the Jedi temple. She and her padawan had been summoned to the Council chamber. Now it was only a matter of finding the young blue boy. It wasn't hard to guess where he might be, however. Arichi hadn't been her padawan long, but it had been long enough to know the boy's preference for learning.
Meira turned a corner and was now at the entrance to the archive library. She smiled and gave a nod in greeting to a knight seated behind an attending desk and moved down the steps. Row by row, Meira searched, feeling her apprentice's unique signature in the Force growing closer. Finally, she found him, near the back with his eyes glued to a computer scree. Meira rolled her own eyes and closed in on him.
Arichi, we've been called to the Council chamber. She said, turning back around and waving her arm for the boy to follow. Knowing that the eager-to-please Chiss would scramble to heed her call, Meira pressed forward. She too was eager to please and didn't want to keep the Council waiting too long.
With Padawan in tow, Meira entered the turbolift that would take them up to the spire. When the doors opened, she wasted no time and headed straight for the Council chamber doors. As always, here she paused and took a breath. It was always a good thing to do. Then the door opened and Meira led Arichi forward to the place in the center of the room.
Masters. She said in greeting, along with a bow.

Having been roused from his research by his master's call, Jon'arichi'kotokk stood in the Dimly-lit council chambers, his eyes glowing brighter then the lights above them, his skin felt cold and clammy to him. In silence, Arichi bowed to the masters, keeping his eyes attached to his feet afterward, awaiting command.
Arichi had no idea why he would have been called, alongside Meira, however, he was not planning on Fighting it, a summons is a summons afterall.
At the same time, the boy wished he could have stayed in the Archives, watching the Niman Form Used in combat, captured on Holo. It was not to be, though, so he wouldn't fight it. Desperately though, Arichi wished he could ask his Master what was going on.

Jace deliberated for much time within his mind, for these were never easy decisions. He could not deny that the Order needed as many experienced Jedi as it could get, but the ends should never justify the means. Though only a few moments had passed in real time, it felt like days inside of Jace's mind before he spoke.
"You are hereby reinstated as Knight O'connor. You will be monitored for a small duration but if your intentions are pure then it should matter not. Always Remember the oath you have made to the Order and to the people of the republic."
He noticed that two presences were approaching and that the council needed to move on to its other agendas.
"You may go Knight O'connor"
He watched as the Knight and her padawan entered the chamber, and bowed. Jace, now back in his chair, leaned forward and spoke to them.
"Knight Valli, you have been called here today because the Council has a mission for you. As you well know, the JediCorps has many facilities across the galaxy, one of these being the AgriCorps on Bakura in the Outer Rim.
We have recently received a very succinct and not all together informative communique from them. After much deliberation, the Council believes that it is best we send a Jedi to ascertain the situation there. It may of course be nothing, but we are not willing to leave things to chance. When you arrive there, make sure to report immediately to the Council, do not take any chances.
Meira, you must be vigilant and cautious when you arrive on Bakura. You are but a scouting party, if the situation is dangerous, report in and wait for orders.
May the Force be with you..."
Jace didn't like what he felt, but Bakura was quite a distance away and it was impossible to tell what was really going on there. He would have went himself had he not had council duties to attend to. He reassured himself that he was leaving the mission in capable hands.

The vehicles whizzing past the window were enthralling, almost hypnotising. Val stood staring tapping the hilt of her lightsabre with one finger. She could feel her heart slightly excited in it's cage, and she tried to make it as calm as possible. Footsteps behind her alerted her to a presence behind her. Urala, her master, had just arrived. Val smiled and turned around.
"I didn't think I would be so nervous about this." she admitted. Urala gave a rare smile. "Just be calm and it'll be fine. They aren't going to attack you." Urala brushed a little mark of dust from Val's shoulder. Val sighed, loosening herself a little. "Wish me luck." she said, walking into the chambers. Inside the dim room she moved deeper to the darkness, pausing as she reached what felt to be the centre, and then knelt down on one knee, staring intently at the floor.

Jace watched as the padawan entered the council chamber and moved to the center. As soon as she made it to the center, twelve blades of the Council lit up. All of them pointed at the ground except for one, Jace's orange lightsaber remained pointing upwards.
"We are all Jedi. The Force speaks through us. Through our actions, the Force proclaims itself and what is real. Today we are here to acknowledge what the Force has proclaimed." Jace intoned in his hardened yet unwavering voice.
"Step forward, Padawan." Jace waited for her to do so then proceeded "Val Adeera, by the right of the Council, by the will of the Force, I dub thee, Jedi.." With a flick of wrist he cut her padawan braid off. "Knight of the Republic." he continued.
Jace then took a step back and intoned."Take up your lightsaber,Vale Adeera, Jedi Knight. And may the Force be with you."
Jace had knighted many padawans before, but it didn't change the weight of the ceremony. The moving from padawan to Knight was a very momentous occasion for any Jedi.

The twelve light sabres around the room provided most of the light and lit up the central figure in blues and oranges, yellows and greens. Val smiled, almost relieved, and glad to be done with what she knew she would always remember as one of the greatest moments of her life. Leaving the room without turning her back to the jedi, the bowed at the door before leaving with Urala. There would be work to do.

[...coming from Mourning by Fighting]
The young Falleen trotted quickly into the Temple proper, hurrying towards the nearest turbolift to take her up to the level of the Council's tower. Still with the two lightsaber hilts in her hand, she hurried, not having time to try to refasten her broken belt. Xierra knew she must look quite a sight, especially after her exhaustive spar with the Knight Aser. What she would give for time for a quick sanisteam right now. But now she didn't have the time. Her skin flushed between her grayish green hue and a host of other colors, clearing showing her agitation to anyone who would see her jogging by.
Finally she reached the 'lift and got in, thanking the Force that it was empty as it took her skyward. Glancing at the hilts in her hands, she panicked until she remembered she had a pocket on the inside of her brown clock. Xierra quickly stuffed them inside and set about righting her appearance. She smoothed down her clothes and fixed up her cloak and ran her clawed fingers through her hair to straighten it out.
Upon departing the lift, she found a reflective statuette in a small alcove and bent down to examine her appearance, removing another few wrinkles and fixing stray hairs. Satisfied, she turned from the alcove and took some deep breaths, remembering the meditation lessons from her youngling days here in the same Temple and later discussions she had with her master, the human Revisc.
Yes, her master. It was the reason she was here waiting to enter the chambers, wasn't it? And the young Falleen still had no idea why she was here, especially after another of her team had spoken to her. They had given their report and retired to their respective quarters to rest. Xierra should have done the same, but she had found herself wandering throughout the Temple courtyard and gardens, still fighting with her feelings. And eventually fighting against another Jedi.
Obviously the Council had something to say to her that couldn't be passed through a messenger. Taking another deep breath, she settled her skin pigmentation to its normal greenish gray and fiddled with her robes one more time before stepping near the door to the Chambers. Whatever it was, she would find out soon enough. And Xierra prepared her mind for the worse, a small part of her always expecting that she would be sent away to the corps or back home; something she had thought about much after her master's passing.
With a second thought to her master, she grabbed out his hilt and had it in her hand when she was admitted into the council room. Without focusing on any of the beings, she looked off almost to another dimension across the marbled floor. Finally she knelt with her hands out, palms up, Master Revisc's black engraved lightsaber hilt resting in her hands. Xierra remained quiet, waiting for her judgment.

Jace had been meditating as he usually did at this time of the day. Most of the Council's matters had already been dealt with, so he moved inward and traversed through his mind. As he was meditating he felt a new presence approach the chambers. She had been summoned and it was good to see that she was punctual even after what she had been through. He watched as the young Falleen entered the room and said nothing for a few moments before sitting forward on his chair.
"Young one, the loss of your Master is always a tough burden to bear. Many a time, we have seen Jedi go astray with grief and even anger at the loss of their master. This is a dangerous road yet I sense that this will not be the path you take.
Before your Master became one with the Force, he believed that you were ready to undertake the trials. After deliberation with the Council, we had decided that there is one more trial you must undertake before you become a Jedi Knight.
You must first travel to Ilum, and construct your own lightsaber. Yet do not fear young one, for you shall be meeting me there, and I shall instruct you. I cannot replace your Master but I will do my best to see that his wishes are fulfilled.
Travel to Ilum in a weeks time, I shall be awaiting you there..."
Jace then sat back in his chair. Jace knew all too well of the pain of the unexpected loss of a master. Jace knew the pain and even anger that could result from it, and he feared that others may stray from the path of light. The Council had deemed that without proper guidance and oversight Xierra might also stray from the path of justice. While the Force told Jace that it would not be the case, the future is always changing, and he wasn't going to take any chances.

While waiting for a member of the Council to speak, Xierra continued to stare down at the marbled floor beneath her, keeping her eyes astray from the beings in the room. She also tried to move her focus from looking at her master's lightsaber, thus why she was looking down at the floor. A thousand thoughts spun around her mind trying to gain purchase but failing. The young Falleen kept all her energy on maintaining her skin tone; she need not give away her feelings, though she knew the Council could certainly feel her presence in the Force.
When Master Beleren began speaking, her heart started to pound. Finally, here it was, her sentence. But what he had to say was completely opposite of what she had expected. Xierra was glad again that her face was downward because she could feel a couple tears make their way down her face. The words the council member was saying about her master made her proud, and equally feeling so about what he was passing on to her. Master Revisc thought she was ready for the next step in her Jedi life, her of all beings. This was the last thing she thought she would hear.
After his final pronouncement about what she must do, she remained kneeling for a moment, willing herself to stand, leave the room. Her own lightsaber: throughout the ten years that Master Revisc trained her, he had never mentioned the construction of such to her. Perhaps he had been just focusing on other aspects of her training. Wanting to get right into lessons of Ataru, he had given her a saber himself, likely of his own construction. She thought of the simple hilt now, of its pale green blade that would emerge, sitting inside the pocket of her cloak.
After all that she had been though, one of the Council members himself would help her build her lightsaber. Xierra couldn't believe this at all. A Council member, helping her? Maybe her master really did think so highly of her, more highly than she had regarded him and still did. Finally she stood, moving her master's hilt into her right hand and wrapping her fingers around it. With no further instructions, she would keep the lightsaber in his memory.
Not knowing what else do to and having nothing to say, she simply quietly bowed to the Council members, ending with Master Beleren before turning on her heels and walking from the room. Once outside, she allowed herself to breath and more tears to come. This was definitely quite a week for her. She honestly believe that nothing more could happen to her, at least nothing more that would surprise her.
Gathering her wits about her and tucking her master's saber in with her own, she made her way to the turbolift to go back down to the lower level of the Temple. She had to find the Providence or another of the team she had come back from. Xierra had been in such a fog when she left the ship that she had forgotten her small bag of personal items aboard the starship. She needed to gather those and find transport off of Coruscant and quickly. She knew that Ilum was quite a far distance from the core.

Shawn would take his bow to the council members before turning his body around. He looked at the two new people in the room before bowing slightly and then raised his hood to his black cloak and brushed passed them. It was obviously There was still distress in Shawn about something but he was much better then he would've been years before.
Pushing through the chamber doors and back into the huge corridor he would just make his way back for the platform where his ship was docked. Of course he would be stared upon for his robes looked like he was a dark jedi, but that wouldn't matter to him because he knew who he was. Not allowing himself to feel downed he would just proceed onto his ship and wait for further instructions.
(Sorry its bad I know. I've lost my mind recently and all plots in my head are gone. I will have something for him later I hope.)

Elsie Therin paced back and forth within the small confines of the lift as it took her through the Jedi Temple up to the Council Chambers. The message from the council had been most unexpected. Why were they doing this to her? Surely, they had good reasons behind their decision, she reminded herself. She just wished she knew what they were.
She took a deep breath to calm herself down. There was no cause for impatience, she would speak to the Council, and find out the reasons soon enough. The lift doors slid open with a hiss, and she stepped out of the lift and walked down the wide corridor into the Council Chamber of the Jedi Order.
Striding to the center of the room, she quickly knelt on the ground. Surrounded by the all the Council members, she suddenly felt extremely self conscious. Were her robes too messy? Should she have showered first instead of coming straight from the training rooms? Would she had been late if she had? Easy now, she thought to herself. I am a Jedi Knight. There is no need for anxiety. I am calm. I am serene. I am....
After what seemed like an eternity, she was allowed to stand and speak. "I don't understand," she said. "I should be out there, fighting the dark side. It's my purpose as a Jedi Knight. It's what I've trained all my life for." She had yearned for the council to give her a mission, needed to prove her worth as a Jedi Guardian. Yet for the past year as other came and went on assignments, she had stayed at the Temple. "I am a soldier, not a teacher. Why am I suddenly being asked to train a padawan?"

Jace remained quiet as the young knight stated her grievances, and sat forward once she finished.
"The council is heavily suggesting you take on a padawan for this very reason. The Jedi are not Soldiers, we are peacekeepers. Combat of the darkside is necessary at times, but it is not our primary task. We are here to keep peace and order in the galaxy.
Your purpose, as you called it, is to maintain peace in the galaxy. Aggression is not the way of the Jedi, you know this. You must not be so eager to fight, there are other things in this galaxy. Imparting knowledge on to the next generation, is a crucial part of the Order. Each Jedi has this inherited duty towards the Order.
I understand where you are coming from though, for I was much the same when I was a knight. I did not want a padawan but the Council deemed that I should find one. I have not regretted the council's decision to this day, and neither should you.
Keep this in mind Knight Therin, you are dismissed"
This Knight reminded Jace much of himself, for he had been in the exact same position. He hadn't wanted a padawan, but he had learned that it was quite possibly the greatest accomplishment for a Jedi to train a padawan. It had also helped Jace return from his mental isolation from the rest of the Jedi.

Ty Lee Jing awaited outside the chamber door. She could easily be seen inside the chamber, and wondered why she hadn't been called in. As usual, her appearance was unexpected, as she had not made an appointment to meet with the council. She didn't know if she was allowed in these quarters but no one had stopped her, so she assumed it all right.
She did after all have an important order of buisness. She was recently elected Minister of Defense, putting her in head of the armed forces. She had important information to obtain, but it seemes she would have to wait...
