Adrian took his fighter in easy, he wasn't too skilled of a pilot and on top of that he didn't like taking risks while inside the flying machines. The hood to the one-seater popped open and Adrian hopped out, ran his hand through his hair, and went into the Temple. Two younglings were there at the entrance and bowed to him in greeting.
Yes, hello to you too young ones
Adrian walked further into the temple past the saber training room where he could definitely hear the sounds of the younglings deflecting fire from the small training droids. He had just got back from an investigation of Corellian involvement with the Sith. They turned up clean, but almost immediately after that he received a call from the Jedi Council to return for further missions.
I can't begin to fathom why they would want someone like me for any of their large plans. Usually a council member completes a high mission.
With uncertainty staining his thoughts Adrian entered the Council's presence. He bowed and waited for them to slow their discussion to a halt. With all the eyes on him the Jedi Knight spoke.
I'm sorry I am tardy, but I am here and ready to receive your assignment Masters

One of the oldest Council Members spoke. Then again, Master Hehe always spoke first. It wasn't that it was his perrogative to do so. He wasn't even a lifetime member, let alone the head of the Council. But, for all his wisdom, he never had mastered the sacred art of keeping his mouth shut.
"Don't lllet it happen again. We can't afffforrrd to waste any morrre time on such imporrrrtant matterrrs as these. What coullld you have been doing that was morrrre imporrrtant than what we have to say? Such insolllence.... When the councillll callllllls on you, you arrrre to come immediatellllly..."
He ranted, before the eyes of the other Masters silenced him. When he resumed, he seemed to keep his attitude in line.
"It does not matter... What we have fffforrrrrr you is necessarrrry to the surrrrvivalll of the Rrrrepublllic. The sith empirrrre on the outerrr rrrrim has grrrrown strrrrong, and must be monitorrred. They arrrrre demaning the surrrrrrrenderrr of Rrrrepublllic worrrrrllllds to theirrrr nation. They have a millllitarrrry and arrre patrrrolllling the borrrrderrrrs. You arrrre to accompany the Rrrrepublllllic ffffforrrrces to the worrrrlllld of Subterrrrrrrellllll. The sith have shown grrrreat interrrest in this worrrrllld and it coulllllld be subject to an attack if the sith become thrrrreatening. Go therrre and hellllllp the Rrrrepubllllic to defffffend the worrrllld, phyiscallllly and polllliticalllly. Beffforrrre you go, you must rrrrrresearrrrch the sith and theirrrr goalllllls. They arrrrre not to be taken unprrrreparrred. Go to the arrrrchivesss..."
The small but always too-loud creature ordered, and the other masters nodded in approval that he could leave.

Bowed in respect to the master not caring too much about the berating.
My apologies master, I will take your wise council to heart and make haste to the Jedi Archives.
Leaving the Council members' presence he sighed, but not of agitation from what had just happened. It was the Sith...Adrian had never seen nor heard of the Sith being definitively beaten. It was always that the victory came at a terrible price. The young Jedi Knight pondered this making a turn towards the Archives. Whenever the Jedi won the Jedi would fall covertly or overtly. Whenever the Republic pushed back the Sith armada it always came at a price too much to bear. The Exile...Revan, all prime examples of this. The Sith could never be completely beaten which is what bothered him. Granted the Jedi were almost the same way in their hardships...the Exile being a perfect example in this case. Adrian ran his hand through his light brown hair as he had made a habit of doing as he closed on the Archive with a single thought on his mind. He was going to war, but that in itself didn't worry him. It was the fact that he would be around so many people in frantic states he didn't know if his concentration would hold keeping his force "personality" as he dubbed it from attaching with others. It seemed like such a simple task to keep it in check, but sometimes it would grow out of control so quickly. Adrian learned too much about himself in his time on Dantooine, but the Jedi knight came out a better Jedi for it in the end. Adrian took two more steps placing him in front of the Archive doors.
